Mal had one mission nd one mission only: to return the ermminet blood to the vampires, preserving the delicate balance between the supernatural and human worlds. However, his focus wavered when he became captivated by a particular human girl, Melanie Elsher. The allure of her presence, the way she laughed, and the sparkle in her eyes pulled him away from his original purpose and into a world of distraction. Phil, his mysterious cousin, always kept a watchful eye on Mal's actions. When he noticed Mal's growing fascination with Melanie, he knew he had to intervene. Phil had planned to retrieve the ermminet blood discreetly, setting things right without disrupting Melanie's life or the equilibrium between the two realms. However, as he embarked on his clandestine mission, unforeseen complications arose, and his actions inadvertently disrupted everything, leaving both the supernatural and human worlds in turmoil. Melanie's life had been nearly perfect before Mal's arrival. She was surrounded by caring and adorable friends, and her small, happy family brought her immense joy. However, with Mal's sudden entrance into her life, everything changed. He was a strange boy who seemingly appeared out of nowhere, bringing with him a series of unforeseen events that shattered her once-normal existence. As Mal struggled to balance his duty to the vampires with his newfound affection for Melanie, a complex web of emotions and choices entwined. Secrets were revealed, alliances formed, and dangers emerged from the shadows. Each decision made rippled through both worlds, leaving a profound impact on their intertwined destinies. In this tale of love, duty, and sacrifice, the fate of the ermminet blood, the vampires, and the human world rested in the hands of these three individuals. Their choices would determine the course of history and the very fabric of existence, as they embarked on a thrilling journey that would forever alter their lives and the world they knew.
Dave, please tell me you are not going on that stupid adventure in some old, useless forest and leaving me all alone here," Alice asked her husband, who had just ended a call.
"Darling, it's not some stupid adventure; it's the greatest adventure of all time. I am this close to discovering all my dreams, our dreams, darling," Dave replied with so much excitement.
"Can you hear yourself talk, Dave? I am 8 months and 3 weeks pregnant, and you want to go on some adventure? This is a joke, right? It has to be. Do you even care about me and the baby at all?" Alice asked a series of questions almost in tears.
"Calm down, darling. Of course, I care about you and the baby, and you know that. But I've been working my whole life on this. I'm this close to discovering everything," Dave replied as he walked towards his pregnant wife and held her tight.
"Alright then, if you must go, I am coming with you," Alice said as she released herself from his grip.
"What? That's impossible, baby! You're pregnant; there's no way you're coming with me," Dave protested.
"Oh well, darling, that's the only way you're going," Alice said firmly and walked out immediately.
Dave knew how stubborn his wife was, and he knew that she wasn't bluffing. All he had to do was make up his mind, but he wasn't willing to give up on this project. He had worked all his professional life for this, and the timing just seemed wrong.
"So, where exactly is this forest, and why is it not on the Google map?" Alice asked as they drove.
"Darling, you promised you would be well-behaved during this trip, remember?" Dave asked.
"Oh, is this what we are calling this now, 'a trip'? You are taking your pregnant wife to some forest because of some stupid research work thing, and you call it a trip?" Alice replied with another question as she crunched on her chips.
"I didn't want you to come in the first place; you insisted on coming," David replied.
"Oh no, darling, I did not insist. I gave you a choice, and you chose this," Alice said, crunching on her chips louder to stop Dave from replying.
Finally, they arrived at the forest, which was far from town and anywhere with humans. Dave had been used to this kind of scenario, but not his wife. He was a little worried and contemplating that maybe he had made the wrong decision by bringing her here, but it was too late to regret it. Instead, he was going to make her love it here. He set up everything for their stay, and they ate some food. Alice had packed a lot of food.

Lord Cray was hosting the annual vampiry night at the Great-Toew (that is his residence). Vampires near and far were present; it was a big celebration.
This was the one night where the rules didn't apply; it was also known as the bloody night. But no matter how gruesome this night looked, everything and everyone must be under control. Lord Cray was in charge, after all.
Lord Cray Truman, the ruler of the Bi'ceps (the vampire community), was indeed a good ruler. He abided by the rules and made sure the Bi'ceps did so too, to avoid any war with neighboring species.
His wife, Lady Rosa, was gorgeous, and their son, Malone, was handsome, smart, and such an adorable soul.
"My Lord, the General and his family have just arrived," Lord Cray's head servant informed him.
"That's good; see to it that they have the best treatment. I will welcome them specially," Lord Cray ordered.
He had been anticipating the arrival of his elder brother, General Hugo. Gen. Hugo had been at the Great-Toew occasionally for work, but this time he was with his wife Cicely and his son Phil, who was the same age as Malone. The last time they had been here as a family was when Laylo had requested it.
Laylo is Lord Cray and Gen. Hugo's mother; she is one of the oldest and most respected vampires in the Bi'ceps.
The bloody night was indeed bloody. The whole Bi'ceps was crowded, and the vampires were full and satisfied. Mal and Phil strolled around the Great-Toew for hours; they had taken a few tasty delicacies before roaming around for some kind of historical knowledge. To them, the bloody night was a time they could snoop around and not be disturbed; everyone was enjoying their one free vampire pass night, and no one cared if some royal teens were snooping around.
The bloody night was over. The vampiry night was finally over, and the next day was here. The Great-Toew, which was crowded, was now almost empty. Lord Cray and his brother had spent their bloody night together with old friends and other family relations. Lady Rosa had been with Laylo and other relatives too.
Gen. Hugo and his family decided to stay one more day before they left the Great-Toew.
"I can say that I am so proud of my two boys," Laylo said as she patted her children on the head at breakfast. She sat between them, and Malone and Phil kept whispering to themselves.
"I see that they both like each other's company," Lord Cray said.
The boys nodded in agreement with a smooth blush.
"Why don't you reconsider coming to live here at Great-Toew? It is your home," Lord Cray said.
"Oh Cray, let's not go there again. I'm not reconsidering it," Hugo said as he munched on his food.
The table was quiet for some minutes. Laylo broke the silence, and soon the mood was back again. That topic had always been sensitive to Hugo and Cray, but Lord Cray never stopped trying. He wanted his elder brother to be close and enjoy his reign with him.
The oracle had chosen Cray for the position way back when they were younger, and Hugo had to accept that his younger brother would rule him. He had no choice; Cray possessed the ermminet blood, which is the most powerful blood that screamed power and authority, and when in the wrong hands could be extremely dangerous. The oracle had given Lord Cray the ermminet blood.
Just as Laylo was telling stories at the table, a servant came in and interrupted breakfast.
"My Lord!!! There's news from the borders," he said, panting.
The whole family had turned their eyes to the panting servant.
"How dare you interrupt our breakfast," Lord Cray blurted.
"My Lord, the Goblins have just crossed the borders," he cried.
"What did you just say?" Lord Cray stood up in shock, and the whole family at the table was in shock.
The Goblins were the biggest enemy species to the vampires; they were a strong species that had been at war with the vampires for years until the rules were made. They had their territory and were to stay away from the Bi'ceps. Why did they break the rules? Why now? Everything had been so good until now...
Lord Cray announced the emergency to the Bi'ceps by using complication (an ability to communicate with vampires through mind-bashing).
"Mum, I need you to go to the
safe room with the women and children at the Great-Toew, okay," Lord Cray said to Laylo immediately after he finished the complication.
"Hugo, I need your forces. I'm going to the borders myself," Lord Cray said as he watched his wife and son going towards the safe room with Laylo and other women. He had no idea why the goblins crossed the borders, but he had to take precautions. Their species held the ermminet blood; therefore, they were superior to other species, but Lord Cray had been respectfully abiding by the rules all the neighboring species had come together and set.
"I will go to the borders with you; let's settle these goblins once and for all," Hugo said.

"Nothing yet?" Alice asked her husband, who was roaming around with a device that looked like a compass.
"Not yet, baby. I would have sworn I saw this blinking this morning. I just need to find the exact direction," he said.
"Oh no, if someone saw you like that, I can swear they'd think you're insane or something. But am I saying, I guess I'm even more insane for being here?" Alice said as she rolled her yarn to continue knitting.
"Come on, baby! We will go back home; I'm almost done here. I got most of the requirements for the research; I just need one last confirmation," Dave said as he came to join her on the mat she was sitting on.
"So you believe you can prove there's a supernatural system with the information you have?" Alice asked her husband with a hint of disgust.
"I don't just believe; I know there is a supernatural system around. There are other paranormal species, and this throwler will lead me straight to them," he said, pointing at the device in his hand.
"This is so funny, okay, what exactly are you going to do? If what you are saying is true, then these species could be dangerous."
"Don't worry; I've got us covered," Dave said, pointing at his pack of tools.
Just then they heard movements in the bushes.
"What is that?" Alice asked.
Dave pointed his throwler towards the bushes, and it began to blink.
"It's them; they're here. Please hand over the camera; I have to have this recorded," Dave said as he moved towards the bushes. A few moments later, out of sight, Alice had been laughing; she sat back there and kept knitting.
Thirty minutes later, Dave had not returned. Alice was getting a little worried. Why was he taking so long, she wondered. She decided to go and look for him; maybe he had been engrossed in whatever he was doing.
"Dave! Dave!" she yelled as she moved towards the bushes. As she went closer, she heard voices and movement. It sounded like there was a fight going on.
She went closer and saw people fighting, but it was not a normal fight; they were moving fast, at an abnormal speed, and throwing out weapons she had never seen in her life. Her husband had been right all this while-creatures with a supernatural system did exist. But where is he? She looked around and spotted Dave on the floor, all bloody; he wasn't moving. She screamed out and went towards him, crying.
"Dave! Dave! Please talk to me," she kept saying, shaking him.
"Alice, you've got to go now; leave this place right away," Dave said in a faint voice, running out of breath. He was beaten badly. Just then Alice looked around and saw lots of dead creatures on the ground; they had human figures but their skin was pale.
"Why are you doing this, Hugo?" Lord Cray said as he tried to dodge Hugo's pirke stake attack. He had come to the borders with Hugo and other soldiers; they all spread out, and Lord Cray and Hugo had been together when they saw the goblins at the Bi'ceps border with Dave. One of the goblins had beaten him already. Lord Cray and Hugo fought them all before realizing that Dave was human, then Hugo brought out a stake and tried to attack Lord Cray; he had been dodging all of them. Then he heard Alice's scream as she approached her dying husband; the goblins' venom had eaten into his flesh.
"Are you asking me that? I want you dead, Cray. It was always meant to be me; I should have been the one who got the ermminet blood, not you," Hugo said, looking straight at Cray.
"I got the ermminet blood because I deserved it; you know that," Lord Cray said.
"Well, that's all going to change once you're dead. I'm the only one that can deserve it then," Hugo said.
Lord Cray looked around; he had expected one of the soldiers to come around, but it just dawned on him that those were Hugo's soldiers. He must have informed them.
Meanwhile, Alice held her husband till his last breath. She would have never let him talk her into allowing him to come here in the first place.
Just then her water broke, and she screamed in so much pain.
Lord Cray ran towards her, leaving Hugo.
s
"Ma'am, I'm here to help you, okay?" Lord Cray said as he carried her and zwapped away.
Hugo was confused, but he had all this planned; there was no way Cray was getting back to Great-Toew alive.
Lord Cray had zwapped to Alice and Dave's tent, picked up some towels, and zwapped to the riverbank. Alice had told him she could deliver less roughly there.
After a series of pushing and grunting, Alice finally gave birth to her baby.
"What exactly are you?" Alice asked. She knew he wasn't human; he had saved her and her baby, so he was not a bad being.
Lord Cray laughed and said, "No one has ever asked me that before."
"I get to be the first then," Alice said. She had to know; she wasn't asking for herself; it was in honor of Dave.
"I'm a vampire, one of those creatures that killed your husband are goblin," Lord Cray said.
"I thought vampires fed on blood; how are you able to be around this much blood and not be moved?" Alice asked.
"I am a special kind of vampire," Lord Cray said.
Alice washed off all the blood on her baby's body, wrapped her, and gave her to Lord Cray.
"We're not leaving here alive, are we?" Alice asked. Her voice was fading.
Lord Cray held the baby close, and she giggled.
"I don't think so," Lord Cray said.
"Please promise me that you'll protect my baby till the end, special vampire!" Alice said as she looked into Lord Cray's eyes.
"I promise," he said. Alice died immediately after.
Lord Cray put the baby in a float and let her float.
"Wow, that was so adorable; are we shooting a melodrama here?" Hugo said as he came closer.
Lord Cray held onto the baby tightly.
"Don't tell me you're a human dad now, Cray!" Hugo said.
"You're never gonna have the ermminet blood, Hugo! You don't deserve it," Lord Cray said.
Hugo brought out the Pirke stake (the only stake that can kill the person that possesses the erm
minet blood).
"Any last words?" Hugo asked.
"Farewell, brother," Lord Cray said.
Hugo stabbed Cray in the chest with the pirke stake. Cray had given Hugo the stake a long time ago, keeping it until it was time to use it as it was the only pirke stake that existed.
As the stake pierced through Cray's chest, Hugo watched and laughed.
With a very faint voice, Lord Cray said, "Hugo, you were always so foolish and dense. If you paid any attention, you would have known that this pirke stake is meant to be self-inflicted. That means that you stabbing me with this stake is also stabbing yourself."
Just then Hugo felt a sting on his chest, and then there was blood.
"What have I done?" Hugo moaned and yelled out for minutes and died too.
