Is he An Angel? I muttered inwardly. The face is pure white, against with a drop of mole in the left eye. The twinkling of his eyes was sharp and charming. As he raised his hand, making a snobbish smile, I couldn't take my eyes off all the beautiful and brightly shining eyes. He became like a scent that kept spreading to be inhaled, again and again, never getting bored and endless. I tried to change myself, but in vain. I was still confused, at the beautiful eyeballs that appeared in front of me.
There was no doubt or hesitation, he did it blatantly using my soul watching him like a thief. I don't want to get upset or feel daunted.
Having crossed the line, I am ready to continue his gaze boldly, my cheeks are burning red, becoming a very noticeable pinkish hue, moreover, he really loves my direction. Finally, I seemed to freeze, seeing those beautiful eyes as if they stopped right at my black eye bead.
He experienced grief in one of his endings, so there was no need to bother rebuilding the thing from scratch. Head down automatically, embarrassed. With a slight recollection of the face, I smiled briefly, not remembering until this smile ended.
"Who is he?"I asked unconsciously making a sound quite loud and clear.
"Who do you mean?" Diana, the female friend who was sitting next to me asked back, it seemed like she thought I was talking to her.
I raised my chin at the man, giving a hint to a classmate who often invited me to eat together.
"Ah..." I heard Diana sigh harshly, as if the subject considered by me, did not correspond to that considered by her or she was too strong to answer the same question as it was often asked of her.
"Niel Amrs," she replied briefly. "Our senior college. He retired last year and is only active this semester." She continued it.
"Oh," I whispered, looking at him. Those eyes were so alluring, giving me a strange tingling sensation in my stomach and chest. I wanted to keep looking at him, without pause, but was ashamed to keep doing it. He seemed to be aware of my behavior, but deliberately let me. I don't know what he meant, I couldn't or was too afraid to guess his thoughts.
"He is indeed handsome, of course, but don't waste time. He's not dating woman. Rumor said he was gay." Diana gave shocking news, but it did not scare me at all. On the contrary, I'm curious, especially as to why a man as handsome and perfect as he is, doesn't like women. Even if it's secretly, I hope it's just cheap gossip, not real.
The man's pale lips, now distracting me from his liberating eyes. He is very charming, of course, it is difficult to give a refusal. However, one more thing, there is something interesting about him, besides his striking black hair or his face that is spelled out, too handsome. He's like a non-human, but angel, I guess.
The man named Niel Amrs, intentionally or not, is now holding his head with one hand, while looking at me with one corner of his lips raised. He did it on purpose to keep an eye on me. I'm not very confident, but I've proven it, by turning my head left and right, looking for who he's looking out for. Nothing, just me. He was really looking at me and making various thoughts scatter in his head. My wild imagination, though still human, sprang up uncontrollably. I became so frustrated not to get out of the chair and ask for her phone number. The man caught my attention, but I had to be able to control myself, remembering, there are limits to someone like me, do's and don'ts.
"Let's go." Diana whispered, breaking my attention.
I turned in relief. I don't want to fail anymore-it pisses me off. As for interest, I'll enjoy it, until I get bored and quit on my own. This curiosity is only temporary, not Eternal, will pass when the time comes. There is nothing to worry about, just enjoy this short moment while you can. Nothing needs to be done. Nothing. Falling in love is too expensive for me? Love? I laughed because I dared to say it. That's not possible. I'm just a little interested, maybe. After all, the man is not an angel, no matter how handsome he is. Even if I did, I'd have to stay away from him more and more. He's not worthy of me.
"So, are you interested in him?" Diana asked, after we were far enough from the canteen. It seems, she is still curious about my purpose of looking at a Niel Amrs.
I shrugged "I'm just curious because I've never seen it, " I replied in the calmest possible tone of voice.
Diana seemed quite satisfied with my answer and wasn't too interested in asking further. Neither do I. Just a name, that's all I need. Miscellaneous things, not required. It's a waste of time.
I went back to my class, and so did Diana. We split up because we were in different classes. I headed to the next class, preparing to get bored because of the completely unpleasant course and lecturer. Mr. Mole, a lecturer in the pattern course, will definitely just sit in a chair, read the reading books that we all have, with occasional tongue sticking out. Ah, no, perhaps he would have drooled a few drops and spat them into the air, once or twice or many times, bored me out of sight or attention of his class and chosen to sleep in the corner seat, at the very back, where no one would have noticed or reprimanded even though I was slumbering in a dream world always full of imagination or none at all. A calm and silence that makes time pass unnoticed.
In class, I sat down in my chair and picked up a pattern book and a notebook-one more piece of equipment
another camouflage; I have mastered all its contents. I was the only one sitting
alone, leaving a cold empty bench next to me.
The material began to be read, as usual, fairy tales for sleep. I piled up the books, leaned my head back and prepared to go to dreamland, until a loud noise, because someone unexpected came in and grabbed the attention of the whole class. I lifted my head, leaned back in the chair and waited about the intentions of someone who had just entered.
"Why late?" It's a good question, Mr. Mole immediately drove the man away, made him a deterrent and did not repeat his delay again next time. Unfortunately, the fifty-year-old lecturer, too kind.
"Sorry, Sir. Earlier I was still in the registration section, asking for a new attendance list because I took your class starting this semester, " he explained.
"What's your name?" Mr. Mole asked again, maybe he wanted to circle his name with a red marker, aka Mark him as a student with a bad predicate or target him when giving questions and so on. Unfortunately, this is not so. It seems that he even wanted to add the man's name to the absentee list. Boring. His kindness makes me sick.
Mr. Mole then finds him an empty spot.
Damn, my routine. Whether unlucky or lucky, the only empty spot was next to me.
Mr. Mole told him to sit down. Walking slowly, he approached the bench next to me.
Without being asked, I cleaned up part of his desk, put away my books. I doubt he'll be comfortable with me. He took a full semester-in this class, at least.
Perhaps, by sitting next to him, I can resolve my curiosity about him.
He sat next to me comfortably. It was unexpected because I thought, he would get annoyed because I kept staring at him while we were in the cafeteria earlier.
"Alicia"" I said introducing myself as I reached out.
He just nodded slowly, giving a cold impression that made me pull back my hand that had wanted to shake him.
My heart was a little angry with his attitude. So, during the course of the course, I tried to ignore it. He did the same.
Class is finally over. I finished my book and wanna left.
He grabbed my hand unexpectedly.
"Niel," he said in a hoarse voice.
"You okay?" I asked when I saw his red lips look dry. "You look sick."
"Yes, it's none of your business," he replied, leaving me as soon as he can.
"What the hell is that?" I grumbled and then left too.
He is handsome, but his attitude is bad! I'm not gonna fall for him. Never!
