CHAPTER 01 ANXIOUS

" Right now in Lincoln office he is seen reviewing some document but his mind is in another dimension imagining him and elsa having a good time he was even making funny faces as if she was with him . The door of the office opened and a young woman stepped in, Lincoln didn't even noticed a person was in his office because he was lost in his world of imaginations .

A smile appeared on the woman face and she quietly knelt down and started crawling then she stopped when she was close to his toes and she screamed loud scaring Lincoln and he threw the documents on the air, he bent down and his eyes met with his younger sister esther.

" Fuck you esther he said and was about to stand up from his seat but she pushed him down and quickly ran out of his office, lincolm followed her and kept chasing her around the company he didn't mind the stares he was getting from his workers and luckily he grabbed her arm.

" What did you see ? he asked playfully .

"I saw a grown man playing with time she replied mockingly .

" What do you mean ? "he said .

Your mate are having kids while you are just fooling around with girls .

" wait don't try to blackmail emotionally i don't flirt with girls he said innocently .

" Then prove it she said .

" When the time comes you will find out now am hungry let's go to a restaurant .

They walked out of the company holding each other hands like couples . Esther is just like a mother to lincoln despite being his junior sister she always brings him back when he is lost.

The two siblings entered one of their best cars and drove off to a restaurant.

" Why don't you come and spend dinner at our family house ? " esther asked lincoln .

" You know the answer he said with a smirk.

" Can you be straight for once? She said forming baby tears

Alright i will come by he replied .

They arrived at flower pads restaurant which is owned by elsa one of the best in town

The siblings both alighted from the car the same car holding each other hands. passerby started taking pictures of them because they are no ordinary people they are extravagantly rich and popular.

" They entered the restaurant and walked together to a spare table and immediately a waiter rushed to them.

What may i offer you sir ?

Japanese chicken and a strawberry juice he replied

" And what about you madam? " He asked politely .

Okay i will be back in a minute the waiter said and was about to go when Lincoln signalled to him and he came closer then Whispered something to his ear and the waiter nodded his head in a positive way.

" What did you tell him ? " esther asked.

It didn't take long before the waiter arrived with their foods

I want to use the restroom lincoln said

Like seriously lincoln we are about to eat and you are telling me that you wanna use the restroom .

" Just a minute i will be back right now he said and left. He is actually not going to the restroom he is going to elsa office, when he arrived at the office he knocked at the door but there was no response, he knocked again and he heard come in .

" He opened the door and walked in " How are you? " he asked

As you can see am fine she replied with no expression on her face

So why are you here? " she asked.

" As Lincoln mentioned that statement her look on her face changed to a cold stare. Lincoln noticed it and was about to ask what the problem was when she told him to get out .

" What do you mean? " Lincoln said.

Very well then he said and stood up then he left her office.

" Lincoln felt embarrassed and belittled but their is a saying that says love conquers everything so he didn't mind. He walked back to the table were he left esther.

" What kept you long? " esther inquired.

Lincoln didn't answer her he just let out a sigh

But you didn't eat anything esther said.

He didn't answer her he just walked out of the restaurant.

" Back in elsa office she let out a loud a hiss as she remembered what happened some minutes ago. Then the door of her office opened and her best friend Amelia came in she is the only one who understands her so they get along together.

" Elsa what's wrong?" Ameila asked.

" What's makes you think am not okay elsa replied.

" You look like someone who swolled a hot lava.

Oh really ? " she replied with scoff.

"OK there is a big party i organized this night for just celebrities like us and big influential people in town so you get to meet handsomes dudes if you are lucky which i know you are you might get an attention from a hot dude.

Are you done?" elsa replied.

Technically yes amelia replied with a smile.

Am not interested she said. "You must be really kidding me right? " You know what let's go to a boutique.

I said am not interested elsa said " And you think am gonna take that.

" Amelia stood up from and forcefully held elsa arm and she dragged her out of the office.

Alright i will go she said then amelia let go of her.

Now you are talking she said and they walked out together.

" They both arrived at a boutique and they were directed to the VIP sections. As they were both selecting expensive dresses befitting their class amelia said she will go check on the jewelry section while elsa will stay at the clothes section as she left . Elsa moved a from rows to rows as she couldn't find any dress of her taste then she smelt a familiar perfume that reminded her of her dirty past, her body became limb immediately hot tears poured from her eyes and she started breathing fast then she heard Amelia calling her name and she tried to clean her tears but it was too late and ameila caught her in tears.

" What's wrong ? " she asked with a lot of concern in her voice. Let's go she said and walked out of the boutique.

They both walked out of the boutique with the clothes and jewelries they have bought.

" Am a psycho elsa said as they entered the car

No you are not amelia replied " you just need time in healing that's all and you will be fine.

How long is it going to take ? " elsa said with a teary voice. How long does not matters what matters is that you will come over it.

Now let's go and rock this party ameila said and patted then she started the engine of the car and they left the boutique.

" All of Lincoln families could be seen having dinner with all varieties of foods of arranged on the table.

How are you handling your automobile company? " lincoln dad asked.

Am doing well dad he replied.

" So when are you going to bring the woman of your dreams his mother queried.

The question from his mother made him to stop eating then he faced her.

" Is that why you call me here? he asked almost with a loud voice.

" What she means is that when will you bring the woman you want to marry ? " Is it now or soon esther said making an eye contact to telling him to be sorry.

" You know what am done he said and then he stood up and left the dining room.

" Don't you dare walk on us!! " his father screamed.

He continued walking till he reached the door then he went of the mansion. As he entered the car he received a text message from his friend Jordan.

" yo bro there is a party in red deluxe complex are you coming ?

Am on my way he texted back and started the engine just what i want for now he said and then drove out if the compound.

He arrived at his destination then alighted from his car.

"All eyes turned at him because he is what you call an hot demi god who is handsome. He kept walking to the party when he heard a farmilair voice calling his name.

He turned and faced the direction lo and behold it was the person he despise the most his Ex lover beatrice .
