Strip now! you're my wife anyway" Harrison had said to Katherina as she fret over the chair she was sitting on. He was definitely not the man she had nursed till he got his memory back. He was now violent and over protective of her. "You are my wife Katherina, you are mine. You are mine alone!" Harrison roared slamming the flower vase down. "No Harrison. I am not your wife and I never was your wife. Give me breathing space Harrison....leave me alone" Katherina said in voice so tiny as tears flowed from her eyes. It was evident she was tired of the whole drama already. Harrison sprawled to his kneels in front of her. He gently hugged her patting her hair softly and swiftly. "I'm sorry Rina, I'm sorry for making you cry, I'm sorry for hurting you, I'm sorry....I'm sorry. Please give me another chance, please do not leave me alone all by myself. I love you....I love you so very much Rina" he wailed to her ear. "Swear by my name Rina, tell me you only love me and not my brother." Harrison cried holding her body firmly. He definitely was in pain as he uttered those words with great grievance. Katherina just watched him wretch in pain. "I do not love you Harrison, I do not!" She had said back to him throwing his hands off her. Had she made a wrong choice of staying with him? She couldn't help but feel loose on lying to him about them getting married. Was he showing her this side of his just to keep her to himself or was he getting a revenge on her for lying to him just to acquire his wealth? He loves her, he loves her much, he loved her first despite finding out he was never married to her due to his memory loss. What sacrifices would Katherina make to stay with the one she lied to? how would the truth come back to hurt her? was it right saving him with a lie?

Chapter 1 How do stars collide

Harrison's parents anxiously waited for the results, they felt a wave of dread wash over them. They had been through so much with their son already, and they couldn't bear to hear that anything else was wrong.

Finally, the doctor entered the room and handed them the results. As they scanned the page, their hearts sank when they saw the words "abnormal findings."

"Excessive drinking can lead to a number of health problems, including memory loss," the doctor explained to Harrison's parents. "We're not sure how much of Harrison's unusual memory loss is due to the alcohol, but it's definitely a factor." The parents sat in stunned silence, trying to process what they had just heard.

"It's also possible that the wine itself could be causing some memory loss, as it contains a compound called resveratrol, which has been shown to impair memory in some cases." The parents were shocked by this new information, and they had so many questions.

"What can we do to help our son?" they asked the doctor.

"We need to make sure that Harrison's heart is strong and healthy before we can start any memory restoration treatment."

Mrs. Steele nodded, understanding that her son's heart health was a priority. The doctor went on to explain the next steps in Harrison's treatment plan.

"Research has shown that falling in love can have a positive impact on memory," the doctor said. "When a person is in love, their brain releases a flood of hormones, including oxytocin and dopamine. These hormones can stimulate the hippocampus, which is the part of the brain responsible for memory. So it's possible that if Harrison falls in love, it could help him to regain some of his lost memories." The doctor stressed that this was not a guarantee, but it was a possibility.

As Katherina scooped the fluffy white rice onto plates, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. This was a dish that her mother had always made, and it reminded her of her childhood. She smiled as she thought of her mom's kind eyes and warm smile.

"Mom, how come some people seem so oblivious to the world around them?" Katherina asked, her brow furrowed in thought.

"You're being a bit of a judge-y Kathie, dear," Mrs. Evan said with a wink. "You never know what's going on in someone's life, or what they might be dealing with. And remember, distracted walking isn't just an American phenomenon - it's happening all over the world!"

Katherina nodded, realizing her mother was right. Perhaps she was being a bit too quick to judge. Still, she couldn't help but wonder what was so interesting on those phones.

Katherina's dad, Gregory, and younger brother, Nathaniel, both gave her their best "I'm an innocent little lamb" look, but Katherina wasn't fooled. Nathaniel, especially, looked like he had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

"What's going on here?" she asked, her tone light but suspicious.

"Nothing!" said Nathaniel, a little too quickly. "Nothing at all!" echoed her dad. Katherina raised an eyebrow. "I'm not buying it," she said, crossing her arms.

Gregory and Nathaniel looked at each other, a guilty look passing between them.

"Um..." said Gregory, a slight flush rising on his cheeks. "We might have...accidentally...taken some of your seaweed." Nathaniel shot his father a look that said, "way to spill the beans, Dad."

"Okay, fess up," Katherina said, her arms still crossed. "Who was the mastermind behind this seaweed heist?"

Nathaniel looked at his father again, this time with a look that said, "you're on your own, Dad." Gregory sighed, a sheepish smile on his face.

"Well, it was me," he admitted. "I was just looking for a little crunch in my soup."

"A little crunch?" Katherina said, incredulous.

"Now, now," said Elizabeth their mother, stepping into the conversation. "Let's all just enjoy our breakfast. There's no need to get all worked up over some seaweed." She turned to Katherina, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "And besides, you know your dad is just a big kid at heart. He can't help himself."

Katherina let out a laugh. "I know, I know," she said, shaking her head.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, Nathaniel was responsible for cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment in a hospital setting. It was a job that required a lot of attention to detail and a high level of organization, but Nathaniel loved the satisfaction of knowing that his work was helping to keep patients safe.

As a part of his job, Nathaniel was also assigned to spend time with a patient in ward 1402. The new patient in ward 1402 was unlike anyone Nathaniel had ever met before. She was a high school girl, but she was dressed all in black, with black hair and black nails. She had a quiet, brooding presence about her, and she didn't say much. But there was something about her that intrigued Nathaniel. Perhaps it was the air of mystery surrounding her. Her name's Olivia.

As Nathaniel came to the bed of a patient named Olivia, he was surprised to see that she was putting on makeup. This was against the hospital's rules, and it struck him as an unusual choice for someone who was injured and in a hospital setting. Olivia noticed his look of surprise and shrugged.

"What, you've never seen a girl get ready before?" she said, giving him a smirk.

"I'm not used to seeing patients putting on makeup, that's all," Nathaniel said, trying to sound professional. "And besides, it's against the hospital's patient policy"

As Nathaniel was about to press the issue, Olivia cut him off.

"Just leave me alone," she said, her voice firm but not unkind. "You're here to work, and I'm not going to be the reason you get in trouble." She looked away, not meeting his eyes. Nathaniel had obviously had enough of her everyday drama.

Katherina's phone buzzed in her pocket as she was walking down the street. She pulled it out and saw that she had a text from her boyfriend, Andrew. The message read,

"Hey babe, I'm thinking about you. Miss you already! Can't wait to see you tonight."

As Katherina was reading the text, she failed to notice the car that was turning into the alleyway. Luckily, the driver of the car was quick on his feet and was able to stop just in time.

The irony of the situation wasn't lost on Katherina. She had always been quick to judge others for being on their phones while walking, and now she was the one who had been nearly hit by a car because she wasn't paying attention. It was a humbling experience, and it made her realize that she needed to be more mindful of her own actions.

The driver approached Katherina. She couldn't help but feel embarrassed and ashamed in front of him. She felt like he must think she was stupid or careless for almost getting hit by a car.

In an attempt to avoid further conversation, Katherina pretended to faint. She slumped forward and closed her eyes, hoping that the car driver would think she had fainted from the shock of the accident.

Katherina's plan backfired spectacularly. As she pretended to faint, she actually ended up hitting her head on the pavement. Everything went black, and she lost consciousness.
