Being pregnant and the next in line to become the Alpha of the Blood Rose pack, Canna faces a difficult decision when her father came to know that she was pregnant with the child of Rollin, the Beta of the Silver moon pack. Being rival packs, it makes everything more intense for Canna when the word spreads that she lost her virginity to a wolf who was not her mate. Will Canna accept her fate and be banished from the pack and ultimately become a rogue when Rollin denies that the baby is his or will Rollin accept the responsibility of his actions and care for Canna and their pup?
Canna P.O.V.
Being a human and the daughter of an Alpha, I have no choice in where we relocate. Growing up in a bustling metropolis with recognizable buildings all around, our recent move to a small city nestled among the trees of an expansive forest was quite a change. Delhi is now unrecognizable compared to the big city that I once called home. Until now, I had never considered becoming a werewolf, but this new environment has me thinking differently.
Hi, I'm Canna. In a few months, I'll be 18 and ready to shift. I can already feel the excitement building up inside me as I think about the transformation that's about to take place in a few months. I'm so eager to see what kind of wolf I'll become!
As a female werewolf, it's natural for me to worry about how I will look. But I know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and that being a werewolf is about more than just appearance. It's about strength, agility, and resilience.
With my Red hair, and blue eyes, and athletic build, I can only imagine how beautiful my wolf will be. I've always been an active person, and I know that this will serve me well as a werewolf. I can already picture myself running through the forest, feeling the wind in my fur, and enjoying the thrill of the hunt.
Of course, there are also some practical considerations that come with being a werewolf. I'll need to learn how to control my shifting so that I don't accidentally transform in public, as there are still some humans living among us.
Being the eldest of my siblings, I am expected to succeed my father in his role as alpha of the Blood Rose Pack. This pack is currently the second largest in Delhi and has been a part of our family for generations. My dad was born here and lived until he was 23 years old. On his 21st birthday, he killed one of his closest friends who tried to rape my mother.
At the time, my dad and mom were just friends. But soon enough, they began to date. For two years, they enjoyed each other's company before my father decided he wanted to settle down when he turned 23. He proposed marriage and asked my mother to move with him away from Delhi so that they could start a new life together in another city.
My father was the one who founded the Blood Rose Pack after they had established themselves in their new home. When my mother was 24 years old, I entered the picture, and she was 26 years old when little sister came around. This business thrived on its reputation as a danger in the city.
The dangerous Alpha has recently returned to Delhi, and everyone in the city is aware of it. To celebrate my father's return, a party will be held in his honor. But my father believes that this gathering is only taking place to remind him of what happened when he turned 21, and he insists I follow in his footsteps by beginning my time as a leader and werewolf.
Moving and unpacking took most of the day, but finally, we were able to relax and unwind. This is the first time we've experienced weather like this. It's just something I'll have to get used to, as there aren't any buildings around here that can shield me from the lightning or muffle the thunder.
I have heard many different stories about how difficult it can be to start at a new school, and I am feeling nervous and excited all at once. After finishing my dinner, I set aside some time to prepare for tomorrow.
I went back up to my room and stood in front of my closet, befuddled as to what I should wear to school tomorrow. Not only do I have to look presentable, but I also have to make sure that whatever I choose to wear gives me the self-assurance and ease of movement that I need. After giving it some thought, I settled on a basic combination of dark wash jeans and a white, short-sleeved blouse.
Rather than rummaging through the closet in the morning, I simply took my clothes and hung them on the door to my bedroom. In preparation for my return to a new school, I gathered my old textbooks and stuffed them into my backpack with some notebooks and writing pens.
I made sure everything was in order before going to sleep by writing down some details in my planner. I made a schedule with all the classes I needed to take, where they were located, what time they began and ended, and how long they lasted. So that I wouldn't have any unpleasant surprises on my first day of school, I decided to read over the schedule one last time before placing my planner on my nightstand and getting into bed.
The Next Day
I woke up to the sound of thunder and lightning, and I knew it was going to be a stormy Friday. I groggily opened my eyes and looked out the window to see the heavy rain pouring down from the sky. I knew I had to get up and start my day, so I slowly got out of bed and stretched my arms. The warmth of my bed was so inviting, but I knew I had to shake off the sleep and get ready for my first day at a new school.
I made my way to the bathroom, feeling the cold floor beneath my feet. I turned on the hot water and stepped into the shower, feeling the warmth of the water wash over me. The sound of the rain hitting the roof was soothing, and I took my time, enjoying the sensation of the water on my skin. I washed my hair and body, feeling refreshed and awake.
After a few minutes, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped myself in a fluffy towel. I went to my closet and picked out an outfit that would keep me dry from the rain. I put on a pair of jeans and a cozy sweater and headed to the kitchen.
I poured myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table. The sound of the rain hitting the window was still present, and I watched the drops slide down the glass. The warmth of the cereal filled my stomach.
As I finished my breakfast, I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door. The rain was coming down hard, and I could feel the water seeping through my clothes. Despite the weather, I was excited to start my first day at a new school in this unfamiliar environment. Little did I know, this new school would bring about more changes than I ever could have imagined.
