Chapter 1 The Meeting
Emily sat nervously at the bar, sipping her drink and trying to calm her racing heart. She had agreed to meet a blind date set up by her friend, and she had no idea what to expect. As she anxiously looked around the room, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, she met the gaze of a handsome stranger who introduced himself as James. Their eyes locked, and in that moment, Emily knew there was something special about him.
As they talked, Emily and James quickly discovered they had a lot in common. They both shared a love for hiking, music, and good food.
