Six years ago, he coldly said, "You can have my villa and 20 million dollars. We divorce!" Six years later, the talented and handsome boy stood in front of a tombstone with a cute girl. "Daddy's tombstone is here. Blow it up. I have to see him, regardless of whether he's dead or alive. If not, I have to see his bone ash."

Chapter 1 Chapter 1 Take 20 Million Dollars and We Divorce

Pregnant, twins.

Jenny Hughes cried tears of joy at the words on the lab test, her slender fingers covering her mouth. She was so excited that she was finally having a baby. She had to tell her husband the good news herself.

Barnes Group.

The elevator mirror reflected the woman's smiling face. At this moment, the elevator stopped on the 38th floor. She had just reached the door of Mr. Barnes' office when she was politely stopped by the secretary. "Mrs. Barnes, Mr. Barnes has accompanied Mr. Sanders of Prairie Group to play golf."

"I just saw his car in..."

Before Jenny finished, a woman's laughter suddenly came from the office. Jenny's face was grim, and she pushed the secretary away while pushing the vermillion solid wood door.

The scene inside the office at the moment was very seductive. The man in a suit had his arm on the woman's waist. The woman's head was buried between the man's legs, and her blonde hair was spread out and fell along the man's calves. "Frederick, you're so bad."

Frederick Barnes jerked his head up, and his previously gentle expression instantly turned vicious. "Who gave you your permission to come in?"

He said sternly, "Sarah, there is no more bonus for you this month!"

The secretary went out with trepidation.

Jenny sneered, her eyes filled with tears, without a trace of the joy of being a mother. Her hand subconsciously squeezed the thin piece of paper into a ball. "I'm your wife, so why can't I come?"

Nicole Jenkins gently tugged at the man's tie with both hands as if she had just noticed her. She planted a shallow kiss on the man's face, smiling coquettishly. "Frederick, what are you hesitating about?"

Frederick stared at his wife with a grimace. "Get out!"

The corners of Jenny's mouth twitched, as she tried to force out a smile. She held her head high with pride, but tears fell uncontrollably. "You said you would break up with her."

Nicole snapped up the picture on the coffee table and walked towards her, flinging it at her. "Look what you've done. How could Frederick want a woman like you to be his wife?"

Jenny looked at the photos scattered all over the floor. At that time, her best friend had a fight with her boyfriend, and she was telling him the truth for her. She subconsciously turned her teary eyes on Frederick and said urgently. "I can explain. There's something wrong with the angle of this picture."

Nicole slapped her. "Don't pretend to be innocent. If you hadn't done everything you could to get in touch with Frederick's grandfather, who liked you, Frederick wouldn't have to marry you on his orders to make him happy. Do you think you could become Mrs. Barnes?"

Yes, she was telling the truth, and Jenny didn't think that Frederick would even tell her such a thing.

Jenny was working part-time in college when she happened to meet Daniel Barnes, who was having an attack in the park, and she took him to the hospital and notified his family. She met Daniel again when she was volunteering at the hospital with her classmates. Daniel adored her so much that she got married to Frederick. It was true that they got their Marriage Certificate when Daniel was seriously ill.

The marriage was a mismatch between their status and social standing. That was correct.

So it was. So he hadn't loved her. She was still foolish enough to think they could have a wedding and spend the rest of their lives together...

Nicole looked at her sad face and said smugly, "He hasn't touched you except on your wedding night. Do you know why? Because he'll divorce you sooner or later, much less have children with you."

The child?

Jenny's subconscious body trembled. It turned out to be a scam from the beginning.

For a year of marriage, except for the first month of the new marriage, he came home once a month afterward. The first thing he did was to give her a birth control pill after each time they made love. He said she was in college and would have to go to graduate school in the future. He did not want the child to delay her studies and that she could have a child a few years later.

She used to be quite touched. On the eve of graduation, she secretly replaced the birth control pills with vitamins, which made her pregnant with this child. She wanted to give him a surprise, but he ended up giving her a shock.

It turned out that the baby in her belly was just a joke.

Frederick, on the other hand, heard these words and didn't want to explain.

Jenny looked at the man's cold face. At this moment, she burst into tears. She touched a handful of eyes and asked, "Honey, you said you were just acting. Have you forgotten? You said..."

These words were like the fuse that ignited the explosive. The man who was just frowning and watching got up violently went to his desk and picked up a document, and walked over. His powerful aura was like a glacier freezing the air in the room.

Jenny stared at his flurry of movements and almost forgot to breathe. She took a step back as the man stepped in front of her. She felt her back ache as she bumped into the large fishbowl. She steadied herself as the man's powerful aura crushed her breath.

Frederick threw the document in front of her and said coldly, word for word, "We divorce. My villa and 20 million dollars are yours."

Jenny looked at the divorce papers and her heart broke. "Mr. Barnes, are you so rich that you're going to send me off with this amount of money?"

A sharp female voice drifted in shrilly. "You've only been married for a year, and you want to ask for more money! How shameless."

Jenny's sharp gaze poked at Nicole. "This is between us as a couple, and you have no right to interfere. If you don't add the money, I'll post the marriage certificate on the Internet."

Frederick's gaze was grim as he said, "Then you'll be waiting to receive a summons from the court. If you are 20 million dollars in debt, don't blame me for not warning you today."

Debt?

Twenty million dollars?

It was true that men were very cruel and ruthless. A man who cheated on his wife could be so righteous. What a shame!

Nicole stepped on her high heels, came over, and kicked Jenny in the calf. "Shameless. Twenty million dollars doesn't satisfy you? Frederick, why did you give her so much money?"

Jenny subconsciously covered her belly, and Nicole seized the moment and increased the force on her leg. Jenny was kicked to the ground, and the man just looked at her indifferently, as if she was a puppy struggling on the ground.

She struggled to get up and go to hit the arrogant woman. A wide, strong hand held her arm in mid-air, and the man said viciously, "If you dare to hit her, I will kill you!"

He would kill her!

He watched coldly as his wife was bullied by another woman, but stopped Jenny when she fought back.

Jenny had no more tears, no more heartache, numb like dead grass. The air seemed to suddenly grow a myriad of mouths, mocking her in unison, sarcastic.

She didn't know how she got home, muddled like a puppet.

On the luxurious sofa, she curled up with her thin body. The whole villa was as quiet as if the whole world had abandoned it.

As the sun was setting, the sound of shallow footsteps made her raise her eyes. Looking at the man in the suit who walked in, she propped herself up and sat up.

"Mrs. Barnes," the visitor was a lawyer. The lawyer's voice was cold, "Here are the divorce papers that Mr. Barnes asked you to sign. The villa and 20 million dollars in cash are yours. Mr. Barnes will hire a professional manager to take care of it for you, and it will not interfere with your studies and interests."

The lawyer looked at her twice and said, "Mr. Barnes has already decided to divorce and will not change it, Mrs. Barnes, I hope you can be reasonable. You will not be able to get this much money in a lawsuit..."

The lawyer came and went in a hurry. Jenny looked at the divorce papers on the coffee table and smiled bitterly. She felt heartbroken.

She was disliked, and the child who was not allowed to come could not have another choice...

In late night, the cabin was empty, and the beautiful voice of the stewardess was heard as Jenny looked through the window at the few lights in the distance. She put her hand over her belly and mumbled, "Goodbye, Dixon City, and goodbye, Frederick."

"I'll raise my child.

I just hope I never cross paths with you again in this life."
