It was a bright sunny day and the guards were resting, sitting on the chairs when suddenly the noise of a speeding car reached their ears from far away and they stood up from the chairs. They immediately opened the giant metal gates and a speeding Aston Martin DB12 sports car stopped in front of a gorgeous Kapoor Mansion.
Aryan Kapoor took a deep breath and stepped out of his car. He walked towards the Kapoor Mansion. The house helper opened the magnificent main door and greeted him. He nodded at her and asked, "Where is my Dear Grandpa?"
"He is in his study, Sir." The house helper said, looking down while her hands were folded.
Aryan went upstairs to the second floor and knocked on the door of the study room.
"Come in." His grandmother, Adhiraj called from inside. He slowly opened the door of the study room and went inside. He stood in front of his grandfather with his gaze lowered on the floor without saying anything.
Adhiraj looked at him and asked, "I don't want you to keep standing here without saying anything. Tell me your reason for rejecting another girl again."
"You know the reason, Grandpa." He looked at Adhiraj.
Adhiraj stood from his chair and came near him. "My Dear Son, I know what you always think but trust me not every girl is going to be with you for your money."
Aryan shook his head. "Yes, for sure but these girls don't even know anything about love either. Making me believe in love again is going to be a huge task for them."
"You only had one break up, Son and you started hating love. You can give yourself a chance again." Adhiraj said.
"Yes I can, but with a girl who understands love. Not with these gold diggers and you know my break up is not the only reason I don't believe in love and hate it." Aryan said. His expression changed from calm to anger.
"I know what your father did to your mother was wrong in the name of love. That's why you also get love all wrong but trust me not everyone's life is the same and your dad got the punishment for what he did to your mother. You can find the girl who will love you without wanting anything in return." Adhiraj tried to explain.
"Grandpa please, don't try to set me up on a date again with anyone." He said and left. Adhiraj took a deep breath to calm him down because he was worried about his grandson's marriage. His only wish was to see Aryan getting married to a good girl who can take care of him and share his life with him.
Aryan reached the Kapoor Inc. As soon as he stepped inside, all his employees stopped talking and started paying attention to their work. He went inside his cabin and sat on his black executive revolving chair. He was thinking about something when someone knocked on the door of his cabin. He invited the person inside, looking at the door.
His secretary, Navya, entered his cabin. She greeted him and placed the books which were in her hands on the table. "Sir, here are the books you ordered."
"Thank you and please send me a cup of coffee." He said.
"Okay, Sir." Navya left the cabin. He started looking at the books. Suddenly one book fell down on the floor. He bent down to pick it up and furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at the book in his hand. It was a romantic novel while he ordered all the business related books.
He was staring at the book when Navya again entered with a cup of steaming hot coffee for him. He looked at her and asked, "Miss Navya, I remember I asked you to order only business books."
"Yes Sir. Is there anything wrong?" Navya asked slowly.
"Then what is this novel doing here?" He showed the novel in his hand to her.
"I am sorry, Sir. I only ordered all the books you asked me to do. I think the bookstore workers placed this novel here by mistake with these books." Navya replied worriedly because she very well knew her boss hates mistakes.
Aryan looked at her for a few seconds and asked her to leave. He placed that novel aside and started working on his laptop while enjoying his coffee.
He finished all his work soon and started relaxing, placing his head on the back of his chair. He opened his eyes after a few minutes and his gaze landed on the novel which was accidentally ordered by Navya. He picked it up from the table and looked at its cover. A photo of a beautiful couple looking into each other's eyes was on the cover with the title of the novel.
He opened the book and started reading it. He got so mesmerized and lost in the story that he didn't realize he was reading a love story but Navya, who just entered his cabin, was shocked to see the novel in his hands. What shocked her more was that there was a smile on his face while reading the story. She didn't want to disturb him so she collected the files she was there for and left the cabin without making any noise.
"Wow, such a beautiful way to express love and I just read a few pages. Who can express and understand love so beautifully?" He turned the book to look at its back cover, where only a name and a short introduction about the author was there. He read her name. "Shruti Singh."
When the office hours were over, he took that novel with him and read it overnight and didn't know when he fell asleep with the novel placed on top of his chest.
Next morning when he woke up, He took his laptop and searched about Shruti. There was only a little information available about her. He was searching this all when someone knocked on the door of his room. He invited the person inside.
A servant entered the room with his morning coffee. He asked the servant to place the tray on the bed and said thank you. The servant left the room. He kept on trying to search more about Shruti while drinking his coffee.
"Shruti Singh. You're the girl I want in my life. Perfect for me. I will find you soon." He smiled, thinking about Shruti.
