Chapter 1 Jia issues
Waking up to the bright morning sun and to the sound of her alarm, she jerks up with her messy jet-black hair over her face, she yawns and blinks to adjust her eyes to the sunlight.
Stands up and stretches, with a crack sound from her back, she lays her bed and heads to the bathroom. Few minutes later, she comes out to dress up for school.
"Good morning baby gurl" Kim said as she came downstairs and sights her mom, which made both of them chuckle.
"Good morning, my Kimi, how was your night" She said as she sips her coffee.
" (shrugs) 'twas nice" Kim said as she headed to the kitchen, poured some apple juice in a glass, drank up then took a set of grapes and a banana, eating.
" Bye Mom, tell Dad I'm missing him once he calls, okay?" Kim said. "Okay, I love you, baby" hugs each other and Kim leaves.

Kim to her university, parked her car and got out, she tucked her hair behind her ear, looked around, took a deep breath, locked her car and went in.
" Kimi!Kimi!" A feminine voice called out to her and it could only be one person who calls her that name apart from her mom, her best friend, Mia.
"Mia(smiling and opening her arms for a hug, then Mia hugged her and pulled out) How's it going? Oh, and you know (pokes her shoulder) Jin" Kim said
Mia's face drops " Ugh, I need to tell you the truth,....."
"Finally (Kim said as Mia tilted her head in confusion, making her dark brown hair come slightly to the front) I knew something was wrong between both of you, Jin can't hide his feelings and you too, Mia you just can't, you may fool others with your smile but you can't fool me, besides when I talk about you to Jin, he becomes sad, when I talk to you about him, you get annoyed and angry, so talk to you gurl"
"(rolls her eyes and looks at her feet before looking at Kim) I..... I'm not angry, it's just, argh (faces her locker and opens) It's just as though he is hiding something from me, I noticed it two weeks ago (takes her books and shuts her locker and so did Kim) and anytime I ask, he just ignores the topic or the question and seems so distant for the rest of the day, he wouldn't even say(looks into space, lightly smiling but Kim could see the tears her eyes held), I love you my sweet baby girl, as usual, or tell me good night in his way, I just imagine, is he seeing another woman? What is going on?" Mia said feeling heartbroken
"Aww, my cute baby (hugs Mia) it's okay, don't cry, don't be sad, I am a hundred percent sure that Jin can't do such, I would speak with him, don't worry spring roll" Kim pulls out from the hug but wasn't looking at Mia, she was was looking at her crush talking to Jin, they even did a three seconds handshake and bro hugged before parting ways.
"Thanks Kim" Mia said but couldn't help noticing her friend's lovey-dovey eyes, then traced it to her crush but also saw Jin coming their way, she quickly turned her head to face Kim.
"So, um, it's Lee Hyun-woo, I knew it three months ago(Kim then looked at her) why don't you just look for an opportunity to say hi, it's been months now Kim Cheng" Mia said.
"I.... I don't know cus anytime I make up my mind, I end up with a negative thought, besides it's just a feeling of admiriation and damn you Jin(faces the built bodied guy with black hair and hazel eyes, a feet taller than both Mia and Kim), you know him that well and you can't create an opportunity for me to speak with him? I'm highly disappointed, and you call yourself my dumpling and my bestie?" Kim said as she held Mia's hand to stay.
"Ah, well.....I....it's just a mere bro friendship, I must not know him for that long or be too close to him to get a handshake. Also, I can't be running Cupid for you with a senior, besides our friendship is complicated" Jin said.
" Oh, really? But aren't you a senior too? And besides, who freaking cares. You know, I would've told you the same thing when you told me to run Cupid between you and Mia, speaking of which, what's going?" Kim asked and Jin wanted to hold Mia's hand but she gave him a glare.
"I.... I'll be in class, Kim" Mia said and left hurriedly without giving a second glance.
Sighs and rests his back on the lockers, " What's wrong, Jin, I know now that what is disturbing you is grievious, we've been friends for more than ten years J, talk to me, what's up" Kim asked with a concerning look
"I really don't know what to say, Muffin, I don't just want to lose Mia, she's the one for me, I am very sure (stands straight and looking into Kim's eyes) All I need is for her to understand and be with me and love me, I need her to love and care more but I don't ask for it because I know she would want to ask what's going on, I would tell her eventually but now isn't the right time ( puts both his palms on her shoulder and bends a bit to her height) Please muffin, help me out with Mia, I know you can do it, I just need support, no matter how strong I am" Jin said and Kim could see the hurt, pain and desperacy in his eyes.
"Why don't you just tell me what is wrong? We have always shared our problems with each other and solve it, I'm worried, dumpling, you haven't been yourself and I'm feeling so bad for Mia"
" Don't worry, muffin, I would tell you everything ( hits her cheek with his palms lightly, smiles and leaves )"
' What is wrong, pom pom?' ( she thought as she held her books tight and headed for lectures.
