THE LYCAN TWINS FATED MATE

" I , Elijah of the Sphinx Pack, reject you Alexandra, as my fated mate", Elijah retorted. "What!, I thought you liked me Elijah!, we have known each other since we were kids, why are you rejecting me",??? Alexandra asked as she began to tear up.

I don't love you Alexandra!, "I only related with you due to the close relationship our parents shared but I have no actual feelings for you ", Elijah remarked.

I am sorry but I can't accept you as my mate talk less of make you my Luna, I love someone else, Elijah added. You are just an omega wolf and it wouldn't do good for my reputation as the future Alpha of Sphinx pack, Elijah explained ignoring Alexandra's tears.

Alexandra walked away with her face covered in tears. She remembered when the moon goddess informed her that Elijah was her fated mate. Alexandra was so happy upon the news as she had developed serious feelings for Elijah right from when they were little. Elijah always protected her from bullies right from middle school and even took it as his responsibility to explain topics that were complex to Alexandra since he was a few years ahead of her academically.

As Alexandra dashed out of the hallway where Elijah rejected her and ran to her room with her face covered in tears, she remembered all the memories they both shared and felt stupid knowing that not for once did Elijah consider her romantically.

"It's okay honey! You'd be fine !!", Alexandra's mom tried assuring Alexandra who cried her eyes out while resting on her mom's shoulder. "I thought he cared about me?! How could he just reject me like that?", Alexandra expressed out loud. "You are a young and beautiful lady, Alexa! I'm sure you'd meet someone who would love and cherish you", Alexandra's mom promised while wiping off the tears from her daughter's eyes. "But, the moon goddess revealed it to me, what would it matter if other guys like me but they weren't fated to me by the moon goddess?", Alexandra queried.

"Alexa!! A lot of wolves do not marry their fated mates. Your father and I for example were fated to completely different people but we still chose and stuck with each other. Trust me, the mating process isn't all there is to finding a mate. Just try your possible best to move on from this hurt and heal, I guarantee that you would meet someone that would adore you my princess", Alexandra's mom assured, gently kissing her daughter's forehead.

Truth be told, Alexandra was a very beautiful young lady who had a feisty personality as well which added to her charm however despite the several interest shown by other wolves to her, Alexandra didn't really care nor pay attention to any of them. Elijah was the only one she genuinely had any interest in at the time.

The next day came and although, Alexandra was still quite sad regarding what happened with Elijah, she knew going to school will help keep her mind off worrying. As she wore her school jacket and headed for school, she took several breaths trying hard to remain strong. Her wolf seemed to have shutdown ever since the rejection cause despite Alexandra's several attempt to connect with her wolf, she wasn't responding.

The teacher had been standing in front of the class teaching when the bell rang. It was time for lunch!. The students rushed out of their classrooms in their numbers to head to the canteen to get something to eat. "Hey Alexa! Aren't you hungry?", Alexandra's closest friend, Sophia remarked. "You go ahead Sophia, I'm not really in the mood to eat right now"..., Alexandra responded.

"Come on Sophia! You can't just be all by yourself in the classroom, why don't you come with me?", Sophia remarked trying to help Alexandra get out of her bad mood. "I'll pass Sophia! Seriously! I'm not really feeling hungry", Alexandra responded to Sophia hoping she would leave her alone. "I'm not going to leave you all by yourself Alexa, If you refuse to come with me then I would be forced to starve myself and stay right here with you"... Sophia responded.

Sophia was that way sometimes... She is a generally sweet soul but every now and then can be quite stubborn and difficult to deal with.

Alexandra knowing that Sophia would not let her be unless she comes along with her decided to grant her friends request by getting up from the chair and going along with her.

The canteen was basically on a self serve basis as students would que taking turns to select what they wanted to eat. Alexandra and Sophia sat down at the middle of the canteen as Sophia began munching on the spaghetti Bolognese she had earlier picked from the school cafeteria.

"Have you seen him???", Sophia asked trying to strike a conversation with Alexandra.

"Who???", Alexandra retorted. "Who else?, Elijah of course?",.. Sophia confirmed. "I haven't seen him Sophia, I don't even think I want to. It would just be so weird and awkward", Alexandra expressed. Yeah! That would be hella weird, Sophia remarked.

"What a jerk !!!, I genuinely believed he had feelings for you", Sophia stated clearly unhappy with what had transpired between Elijah and Alexandra. Yeah! Well so did I ! Turns out , I was stupid and wrong all along, Alexandra exclaimed. Alexandra and Sophia had been engaged in their conversation when all of a sudden the entire canteen became quiet.

Footsteps were heard approaching as everywhere remained as quiet as a graveyard.

Suddenly two identical twins entered into the canteen causing the female students to go crazy. " It's The Lycan Twins"!, a girl exclaimed in excitement as the two brothers walked majestically to go get their food.

The twins were very identical with just two features separating them... Anthony, the eldest of the twin brothers was slightly taller and has hazel eyes with blonde hair while Andrew, the younger brother had deep blue eyes with Dark hair. Their structured jaw line, good height and chiseled physique was enough to seduce any girl who gazed at them. As if that wasn't enough, they were a mix breed hence they could either shift to a wolf or a Lycan if they pleased thereby making them way more stronger and powerful in comparison with other wolves as they could harness the combined strength of both the Lycan and werewolf capabilities. "The Lycan Twins" were the most desired mates in the school as everyone desired them except for Alexandra who seemed to be greatly appalled by them.

"Would you look at those studs!!!" , Sophia exclaimed excitedly as she gazed upon the twins in admiration. I don't get it. What's so special about them!!?? Yeah! Yeah! They are mixed breeds and they are hot but still ! , It's not like we don't have other guys that are just as attractive if not more attractive, Alexandra expressed not impressed by the Lycan Twins.

What! You can't be serious! Sophia remarked. If you can honestly name five guys that can match The Lycan twins in anything, I'll buy you lunch for the rest of the week..., Sophia added. How about Cole? Alexandra asks.

Cute! But not hot enough, Sophia responds. There's Finn, Alexandra states. Come on! Finn looks like a little boy in comparison to the Lycan twins, Sophia expressed. Hmm.... What of Richard?? Alexandra probed further. Oh why don't you just get me a bucket so that I can barf already!, Sophia remarks as both She and Alexandra burst into laughter.

It's good to finally see you laugh, I was worried the rejection may have broken you beyond repair, Good to have you back buddy, Sophia exclaimed as she pats her friend on the arm. But seriously! Why is every girl swayed by the Lycan twins. I just don't get it, Alexandra expressed in confusion as she gazed at them...

"You know what Alex! I take my word back, you are clearly broken cause that's the only logical explanation for you not being attracted to these two hot specimens blessing our eyes with their presence", Sophia remarked causing Alexandra to roll her eyes. At this rate, you are going to get pregnant before they even touch you, Alexandra retorted. Girl, I'll forever thank the moon goddess if she ever avails me of such wonderful opportunity Sophia retorted causing Alexandra to burst into laughter again. Sophia and Alexandra had been laughing their heart out when the lycan twins stood before them.

Hello there! Since it's just the two of you seated here, do you mind if my brother and I join you???, a soft yet masculine voice enquired. Sure! No problem at all! Sophia expressed as she was too stunned to speak while the Lycan Twins sat down facing them to eat. I'm Sophia by the way! And this is my friend, Alexandra, Sophia exclaimed.

Nice to meet you guys!, I'm Anthony and this is my twin brother Andrew, Anthony remarked stretching out his hands to give a handshake to Sophia and Alexandra. Sophia shook his hands with excitement, letting out a little giggle. Anthony was surprised when Alexandra completely ignored him when he stretched out his hands to her for a handshake.

Alexa! It's just a handshake, don't be rude!!! Sophia remarked. "So What if he's trying to give me a handshake??", "I don't want to shake him so just let it be", Alexandra expressed distastefully. Would you look at that brother!

Seems you've finally met someone who can't stand you after all, Andrew expressed with a little smirk.

"I can't stand you both!!!", "you two are so full of yourselves", Alexandra remarked while Sophia covered her face with her palms in embarrassment as she was too startled to speak. "Did we do something wrong???", Anthony asked seeming confused as to why Alexandra despised them for no reason.

"Yeah! You barely know us, what's with the sudden hate and resentment", Andrew added. Oh! Please, I know the likes of guys like you. You think you are so hot and you can get any girl you want, It's such a shame that other girls can't see through your fake charm and charisma, Alexandra expressed distastefully. Oh wow! Someone is quite judgemental, I think she might be a little jealous brother, Andrew chuckled. Jealous!?Of the both of you!!?? Why would I be jealous of two playboys whose only purpose in life is to sleep around with as many women as possible???, Alexandra remarked getting agitated by the twins presence.

"And how do you know that?", "Have you seen us sleeping with anyone??", "Or are you just assuming that???", Andrew probed. Everyone knows you two are nothing but playboys who sleep with people for the fun of it.

If you would excuse me Sophia, I think I'm done here, Alexandra retorted as she got up from the chair she was seated and walked out of the canteen. I apologize for my friend's rude behavior...She's just having a bad day, Sophia explained as she got up to follow behind Alexandra.
