Rays of light flashes down to Aurora who was lying gently on her bed. Her face was close to the window,so the rays of light flashes directly to her face.

Aurora grunt and groan before waking up. She sat up removes hair bird nest like hair from her face, yawning.

"Urgh now I have to wake up. Sometimes I hate my life. Just kidding." Aurora said giggling to herself.

It was obvious she's a bubbly and friendly girl.

She stood up and straighten her bed sheet before going into the bathroom.

Aurora comes out already changed into her suit looking nothing like she did when she just wake up difference is she's not wearing make up.

Aurora stands confidently, her sleek black suit accentuating her natural beauty. Without a trace of makeup, her features shine through with a radiant authenticity.

Her skin has a warm, golden undertone, a testament to her natural glow. Her eyes, a deep shade of brown, sparkle with intensity, fringed by thick lashes that add to their allure.

Her eyebrows, straight and full, frame her face with a soft definition.

Her hair, typically styled with precision, falls in loose waves down her back, revealing a subtle texture that adds to her effortless charm.

She walked downstairs to her lobby and walk to her car humming happily with her snow white hand bag with her.

Aurora resides in a cozy, modern loft apartment in a trendy neighborhood, surrounded by art galleries, indie coffee shops, and boutique stores.

Aurora reached her car and enter before driving out. The door automatically open,she drives out.

Aurora drove into her company compound. As she got down everyone was greeting her and she was responding to them with her usual beautiful smile.

She got to her office and she sees her assistant, Penny waiting for her at her desk.

"Good morning ma." Penny greeted her with a stoic expression.

"Good morning Penny. How are you ok?" Aurora asked with a smile already used to Penny's reaction.

Penny is a few years older than Aurora. She's a woman that is known in the company for her non smiley face and always stoic expression.

She's the exact opposite of Aurora and that was the exact reason why Aurora hired her.

Aurora went to her seat and seat down after checking it with her hand to see if it is clean.

"So what's my schedule for the day?" Aurora asked as she gets her laptop and start walking.

"You have a board meeting with the accounting department by 9 30 am then you have a meeting with Asher Adams at the Edible Cafe that's by 12 pm then you have to call Mr Plankton and that's all." Penny read out from the jotter that's in her hands.

"Hmm. Ok. Prepare for the board meeting then. I have something to quickly do on my laptop. I'll be right there or you can just come and call me that it's ready." Aurora asked.

She's in her professional but polite mode. Penny nodded before leaving her office.

BLACKWOOD EMPIRE HOLDINGS*

A car drove neatly to the front of the company. The man by the door quickly came to the owners corner and open the door.

A black shiny shoe step out and here comes Asher Adams.

Asher Blackwood emerges from the sleek, black luxury sedan, his tall, imposing frame unfolding like a dark, tailored sculpture.

His chiseled features are accentuated by the sharp jawline, piercing blue eyes, and a hint of stubble that adds a touch of ruggedness to his polished demeanor.

His dark hair is perfectly styled, and his tailored suit fits him like a glove, accentuating his broad shoulders and athletic build.

A crisp, white shirt and a slim black tie complete his outfit, exuding an aura of power, sophistication, and control.

As he steps onto the pavement, his eyes scan the surroundings with a confident, calculating gaze, missing nothing.

His movements are fluid, deliberate, and commanding, like a predator claiming his territory. The air seems to vibrate with his presence, and those around him can't help but take notice of the man who embodies the very essence of power and ambition.

He walked into his office and everyone starts to bow to him greeting and already used to his attitude,they didn't get angry or annoyed when he didn't respond.

He walked to the private elevator and put his pin and ride up. He reached the top floor where half of it is his office.

"Good morning sir." His receptionist greeted.

He just nodded before going into his office. Not long his assistant entered holding his(Asher's) briefcase.

"Good morning Boss." Luke greeted with a smile.

"Hmm." Asher responded.

"Sir you are cleared for today except you have meeting with Aurora Colorado, leader and founder of Lumina creative and co at 12 pm at Edible Cafe. That's all." Luke delivered.

"Why am I free for today? Is today not Monday? First day of business week?" Asher asked.

His rough voice prominent and rich.

"You are right sir but you've already done the work for today at home yesterday sir. Remember you asked me to pack your work home for you. That's why you are free Boss." Luke answered.

If there's one thing that is clear about Asher aside hus confident and stoic behavior in his business,is his workaholic attitude.

Asher is the exact explanation of workaholic and he had always been like that. He rarely have time for himself or someone else except one person...

"Alright. When it's time to meet Aurora,tell me." He ordered before dismissing Luke with his hand.

"Yes Boss." Luke said before bowing to him and left.

Asher couldn't help but feel that meeting Aurora will have a significant change in his life.

He just doesn't know if it is good or bad..

DAVIES COOPERATIVE*

The company belongs to David Davies who happens to be the arch enemy of Asher Adams.

David hates Asger with everything in him because most business people prefers to work with Asher instead of him.

"Sir." His assistant, Stephanie called him.

"What?!" He asked rudely.

David is known for his rude and nonchalant attitude. His behavior is what tends to drive away costumers away from him but he doesn't see that. All he sees is that,Asher is stealing his customers.

How he managed to come this far is a mysterious and miracle thing.

"Asher Adams is meeting with Aurora Colorado this afternoon for a meeting Sir." Stephanie said.

David gave Stephanie the assignment to always be watching Asher and who he's meeting in order to steal them from him before Asher could talk to the person.

"Then why are you just telling me?!" David shouted angrily. "Now I wouldn't be able to stop her from going to him! How dare you deliver late?" He demanded angrily.

Stephanie had already started to shake in fear because she knows what her Boss is capable of doing whenever he's angry.

"I...I'm.. sorry..sir I got the information late. Please forgive me." Stephanie pleaded fearfully almost weeping.

"You bitch!" David cussed.

He was so angry. He picked up his hit coffee and threw it at Stephywho just stood there crying already used to the treatment.

Luckily for her,the coffee was not hot enough to burn her.

"Get out!" He shouted at her.

"I'm so sorry sir." Stephanie said bowing to him before leaving in her wet pathetic state.

"Urgh! Asher?! I'll get you!" He promised.

12 PM, EDIBLE CAFE*

Aurora and Penny had already arrived since 10 minutes ago. Since Aurora was free she decided why not come early then.

She's seating at the private booth while Penny was seating at a different table.

Not long Asher walked in with Luke.

"There she is." Luke said pointing to Aurora who was happily sipping her tea after looking around for her.

Asher looked at her and his heart stopped. He was captive by her beauty and simplicity.

He had heard of her but he had never actually seen her and he must say he's impressed of how she is.

She's simple but she's not to be walked over. Her confidence exudes around her and that just add to her charisma.

"Sir?" Luke called him taking him out of his thinking.

He cleared his throat before walking up to Aurora.

"Good afternoon." He greeted as soon as she reached her.

"Good afternoon." Aurora said.

Her breath hitches as she saw the sight in front of her. She couldn't believe that there's someone as handsome as this man in front of her.

She seems lost of words for some moments. Asher was glad that he wasn't the only one that was affected by all this.

"Shall we?" He asked Aurora gently.

"Uhh yh sure sorry." Aurora said blushing in embarrassment.

Asher smirked looking at her flushed face.

"So I take it that you want our company to help design your website for your new real estate idea." Aurora started when she got herself back.

"Yes. You are correct." Asher told her making Aurora to giggle.

That sound!

It sounds like music,a calm peaceful music to Asher's ear!

It was 1:30 pm and finally the meeting is over.

"Wow. We spent an hour and half?" Aurora said looking at her wrist watch with widen eyes.

Asher smiled at her reaction.

"We really discuss quite a lot of things." Asher said smiling teasingly at Aurora.

Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she sees Asher's smile and she could definitely agree that it's the most beautiful thing she has ever seen.

"Yh." Aurora said chuckling.

They both stood up and face each other.

"Looking forward to doing business with you Miss Aurora." Asher said stretching out his hand for handshake.

"Of course and you too Mr Asher." Aurora said accepting his hand.

They both could feel electrical shock going through their bodies the moment they shaje hands.

No doubt there's a spark between them.

"Don't they look good together?" Luke asked Penny as they both stare at theur bosses.

"You don't say." Was what Penny replied with.

"Aish." Luke said frustrated.

He had been trying to get her to talk to him since the meeting had started but he didn't get the opportunity to because Penny literally ignored him.

"Good day." Penny said walking to her Boss.

Luke then seems to recover from his thoughts on Penny and walked fast to his boss's place.

"Sir." Luke said.

Asher stood watching as Aurora got into her car and drove away.

"Prepare our next meeting." Asher said walking out of the Cafe.

"Why was Boss staring at Miss Colorado?" Luke wondered.

When he sees that his boss is almost to his car,he ran after him.

At an apartment of three story building,a woman descend the stairs as she talks to someone on the phone.

Her hair dances as she walked down and talking softly.

She reached downstairs and saw her son eating and looking sad at the dinning table.

She hang up on the phone and went to her son.

"Liam?" She called out.

The 7 years old boy, Liam turned to look at his mommy.

"Mommy." He said his face brighten up a bit.

He got down from the chair and went to hug his mom.

"Hey boy. How was school?" The woman, Cassidy asked her son smiling at him.

"It was good mom." Liam answered as if he had already practice the response.

"That's good." Cassidy said smiling at her son.

"Mom what of Dad?" Liam asked looking at him mom with an hopeful gaze.

"Your Dad is working."

"You say that all the time. Tell me the truth where's my Dad?" Liam shouted.

Cassidy was scared a bit. She gulp down and hold his shoulders.

"I mean it. Your Dad is working. You want to meet your Dad right?" She asked him.

Liam nodded eagerly.

"Then I'll call him and when he says it's ok for you to come I'll take you to him alright?" She said smiling at him.

"Ok mommy." Liam said looking happy.

"Alright go and finish your food. I'll be right back." She said.

Liam went back to eating his food and swinging his foot back and forth happily.

Cassidy looked at her son and smile before going back upstairs to call the father of her child who she knows will never pick it.
