Chapter 1 Prologue: The Beginning
There was once a small quiet town, where a girl named Elara lived. Everyone knew her for her good heart and for the bright smile. Life seemed simple, all filled with love from her family and devotion from her husband, Adrian. Or so she thought.
One fateful night crumbled that. Returning home after visiting her ailing father, she found her husband hugging another woman. Her heart was sliced by the lack of trust as if with a sharp knife. Breaking down, Elara clashed with Adrian; instead of showing signs of regret, he revealed that he stopped loving her long ago. She was no more that broken woman from her past; she is powerful, wealthy, and feared.
