In a luxurious and well exquisite office of one of

the top-notch company in star city,

The voices of Mr and Mrs Louis could be heard in the office,but due to the soundproof used to prevent the noise from leaking through the luxurious office and also a beautiful and well mannered secretary who prevented unwanted visitors and guests from barging into the office of the CEO of crescent corporation.

Michael!

We have told you times without numbers to get a wife to bear a child to continue your legacy as the CEO. Look at I and your mother, we aren't getting any younger and we need our own grandchildren too, Mr Louis ranted, causing the wife to calm him down as mrs Patricia chipped in for her husband who had suddenly become angry.

Michael! What your father is saying is that we cannot wait any longer because you have refused to grant us our wish of seeing our company survive in royal city, we have given you enough time to do as you like but is this how you want to pay us back with your nonchalant attitude to our request? Mrs Patricia asked in a tears filled state causing the young handsome man who had been seated watching his parents throw their tantrums at him.

He couldn't bear to see his mother in tears as he walked to her to try and sooth her in his possible and best way.

Pls don't do this, you know I hate seeing you crying because of me or anybody else, I promise I'll get a married for you and father and also for the companies name.

Mrs Patricia looked at her son and asked

" Since when have you told us such tales and yet you still haven't gotten one", she wailed more causing her son to feel pitiful for her

Ok mum I promise you and dad that I'll get married I promise now stop crying for me please he begged.

Mr Louis who had been watching the drama unfold between mother and son chipped in

"Michael and what about Bertha Williams isn't she going to make a good bride for you"he asked

Causing Michael to stare at his father in anger.

"I cannot marry her, I agree that she's my closest friend but I don't see us coming together in any way,

Dad I suggest the best thing to do is to stay out of my personal affairs as it will be best for all of us, he said angrily

And Michael why are you suddenly talking to your dad In such manner it's not right, we brought you up properly so I think his decisions are always right.. she said still crying

Oh mum! Please I can't marry her, we are just friends no strings attached.

Hmmmmm friends you say? If you ask her am pretty sure she'll agree to marry you either through an agreed or legal marriage.I think ill speak to her father about it and see his response.

Michael shouted on top of his voice which caused his father to stare at him in shock as he was interrupted rudely by his son

You can't do that it's my life and future we are talking about here and not for some selfish motives, so I think the best thing is to stay out of it I already promised I'll get married as soon as possible for you and mum isn't that enough already! He exclaimed.

Okay if you say so he said composing himself after the reply he received from his son.

We give you two months I repeat two months to get a wife and if not I'll arrange a girl myself. Mr Louis said In anger as he pointed at Michael.

Michael who was dumbfounded by what his father said suddenly found his voice

" Fine two months it's enough,but please not Bertha she doesn't own me any marriage or any thing of that sort so please keep her out of this he said adamantly.

Mr Louis stood up from the chair and pointed at Micheal.....

You have been given an opportunity this time, now get your butts from that seat and go search for a wife, And stop being a workaholic and make us proud.

And aren't I making you and mum proud already, if not for my hard earned time and effort our company wouldn't have made it to top 1 in the city,He said causing Mr Louis to see the fact that his son does have a point, but that didn't stop him from threatening his son.

"Two months Micheal ,two months" he said and he led his wife to get up as she headed towards Micheal and hugged him as a loving mother she was and pecked him then turned around to leave followed by her husband.

Who didn't realize he had being holding his breath let out a deep sigh and tugged at his hair roughly

"Why do my parents have to be a pain in the ass"

he muttered sitting down on his chair forcefully as he picked up his phone to call his secretary

"Hello Kim" I need you in my office

Alright sir she said and ended the call

Few minutes later she knocked on his door and Michael knowing fully well who it was

"Come in" he said

And the sound of her heels could be heard in his office as she appeared in front of him.

He looked up to her and said check my schedules for this week and check my next meeting appointment and forward it to my email directly and check the financing department if there's any company who wants to partner with us as we only need one top company and one reservation left.

Ok sir I'll do that , she said and as she was about leaving the office.

Ohhhh and Kim he said as he forgot to tell her something else

Yes sir she answered looking back

And please tell Zack that I'll be needing him in my office in the next 20 minutes and remind him of the fact that I keep to time, he said with a serious expression

Kim knowing her boss to be punctual could only smile and reply ok sir I will and left his office.

Michael who saw the door close right in front of him let out a gasp as what his parents said about his marriage to bertha still lingered in his head.

I can't marry her... She's my only female friend and am sure she can't possibly have feelings for me, I must find a wife myself and prove to my parents that I am worth a son, he smiled and resumed work.

Zack knocked on Micheal's office door and as being permitted by Michael stepped in and smiled.

And who do we have here.....he said as he found his way to the seat

Michael who had been expecting Zack looked up and said "Your early".

Zack who was also shocked to receive such timing from Kim as Instructed by Michael knew his friend to be always punctual

And what is the reason for this uncalled meeting today??

Michael who had been expecting that question from his best buddy could only sit back on the chair and place the pen in my hands down and interlock his fingers in front of him

"I need to get married".
