For now you will remain in my palace as a princess until the day comes when you come of age, then I will make you my queen.
Shop, here in my power and be my wife, or I will give you to Vincent to be his food I'm easy to talk to, Elysia, whichever one you choose, I will give it to you with all my heart," he said in a low voice that made her hair stand up.
Elysia's whole life she obeyed the orders of her family, but the day came when she could escape from the cruelty of what she considered her relative. But, that freedom is in exchange for her life.
She accepted you with all her heart in exchange for the memories her parents left her that her aunt held. But her expected death did not happen, instead an agreement was laid out for her that she thought would end her life.
Vladimir who is the king of vampires who have been living in the surface world for a long time. Is that agreement the one that will change Elysia's life or is it the one that will destroy her?
With their lives shrouded in secrecy, can love be shared between two opposing clans and races?
A stout man wearing a black robe that covered his knees stepped out of the elegant carriage.
He also wears a black hat that covers his entire face.
When he raised his face, she saw that it was a normal person, his face was white and smooth, he smiled at her and there she saw his white teeth.
Elysia frowned because she was expecting a fang to reveal to her, but no, it was normal just like humans.
"Who will be the offering in this family?"
The man asked and Elysia hurried to the front. "Me."
She responded bravely.
The man frowned slightly but said nothing and just led her into the carriage.
Entering inside, Elysia was amazed by the beauty of that carriage.
She frowned as she looked at the man who followed her.
"Why young lady, is there a problem?"
The man asked.
W–nothing, I'm just wondering, shouldn't you put me in jail instead of here?
What if I run away?"
She asked and the man grinned.
She patted her leg and then leaned against the back of their soft seat.
"Why are you running away?"
Instead of answering his question, She also threw a question.
Elysia bowed in shame.
How can she escape when she knows that she is facing a vampire.
No matter what she does, it will catch up with her.
She slowly shook her head and peered out the window.
She knew it was not the time to be amazed but she couldn't help being amazed at the sights she was seeing for the first time in her life.
Ever since she was a child, she hasn't been able to leave the house, so this is the first time she's been able to get out and get away.
"We are not what you think young lady, perhaps you are referring to a different clan of vampires.
We are only ahead now because our king ordered me to target a certain house.
.
Elysia turned around with a look of surprise on her face.
"Our house?"
Yes, the truth is that the offering to that house is what we meant."
He promptly responded and looked at the box Elysia was carrying.
May I know what that thing is in there?"
The man asked and Elysia gripped the box tightly. "M–memories of my parents.
Don't worry because I don't have anything that could hurt you here." He replied and they were silent again.
They had a very long trip and the girl did not realize that she had fallen asleep.
She just woke up because of the strong shaking of the carriage.
She was thrown backwards and only then did she realize that the vehicle they were riding in had stopped.
The man was no longer inside the carriage and she was surprised when the door opened.
She only breathed a sigh of relief when the familiar man appeared there.
Smiling, he extended his hand to her to help her out.
It wasn't what she expected but she just didn't speak. She accepted his outstretched hand and gently got off the carriage.
Elysia immediately looked up at the huge palace in front of her.
It was made of stone and its height was almost beyond her sight.
"Welcome to Vlad's palace, young lady."
He smiled at her.
He smiled narrowly and carefully looked around.
Surprise engulfed her whole being because she knew that the palace of vampires was a dark place.
But the one in front of her was no, it was a normal palace-yes it wasn't as colorful as people's palaces but it looked normal.
Made of stone, without much fancy decoration, not surrounded by colorful flowers.
"Vlad? Is that the name of your King?"
She asked in surprise and the man nodded. "Let's go inside, because we're sure to have visitors later." The man said with a smile and he just stood up when he pulled this. Even though she was surprised, she had better keep her mouth shut until her eyes almost opened with what she saw. It was very beautiful inside that palace.
She saw someone walking in the hallways from time to time but she didn't notice it so she didn't pay attention.
The man led her into a wide hall and made her sit on a soft chair. It was red in color and very soft. When she caressed it, she was just amazed because of the soft feeling that it felt like a cat's fur.
A taste caught her attention and that's why she sat up.
When she looked up, a tall man appeared before her, his long black hair almost reaching his chest.
His eyes were sharp, the color of the sun's rays, they were golden but it seemed as deep as the sea that every time their eyes met she felt like she would drown.
She stood up and hugged the box tightly with her hands.
"Are you sure about what you got Alaistar ?
The Man asked?"
But what I wonder about is that she's not yet at the right age, like the agreement between the people and Vincent."
replied the man who picked her up.
Only then did she find out that his name was Alaistar (the man that led her to the castle)
And the man in front of him now was Vlad the king of the vampires.
But who is Vincent?
Her brow furrowed once again, while quietly listening to the conversation between the two.
"I don't care about her age, the important thing is that Vincent can't get her no matter what.
By now his disciples may have found out what we did so get ready to welcome our guests."
Then he spoke and faced her again.
"As for you little lady, follow me and I will take you to your room."
It spoke more and she seemed hypnotized to follow it.
She knew vampires were dangerous creatures but for some inexplicable reason she felt no fear of them. Elysia quietly followed the man and looked at her back from time to time.
It's surprising that she didn't ask any more questions, these events are more in her favor, it seems that they have no intention of making her dinner so she will just be swayed by their wishes.
Vlad stopped in front of a large door.
He pushed it and a room opened up. It was not a prison but a very beautiful room that looked like a princess was using it.
She entered, so she quickly followed.
Her eyes looked around the whole room and she couldn't hide her amazement and surprise. "Shouldn't I be in a prison, why here?"
"Why young lady, do you want a prison to be your resting place?"
he asked and she pulled back when she saw his eyes turn red, but it was only for a moment and it went back to being golden again.
"It's not like that, I'm just wondering, because my aunt said I'm an offering, so I don't really understand what's going on."
She said, confusion in her eyes.
She even saw the man smirk before approaching.
"You're welcome, if Vincent comes before you. And since Vincent is my enemy, I'll make you my wife to make him even more angry with me." It whispered before laughing derisively.
She was even more confused because she heard Vincent's name again.
Who is Vincent?"
"Vincent is the king of the vampires in the West and he has a deal with your little community. For now you will stay in my palace as a princess until the day you come of age, then I will make you my queen.
Go shopping , here in my power and be my wife, or will I give you to Vincent to be his food?
I'm easy to talk to Elysia, whichever you choose I will give you with all my heart."
he said in a low voice that raised his feathers.
He wasn't stupid enough to choose the latter.
If being his wife would give her the hope of living she would.
After all, it's no use if he fights when it already holds her life.
If she chooses the latter, she will surely never see the sun again tomorrow. But, if she chooses Vlad, she has high hopes of surviving.
"If I follow your wishes, can you guarantee that my life will be safe? You won't let me die?"
She asked and the man just smiled.
He raised his hand and gently caressed her cheek, towards her chin and lifted it up.
"You can count on me, I only want one thing, that Vincent dies in anger." he said with a laugh. He never spoke again and completely left her in that room.
She sat down on the soft bed and sighed.
She caressed the box her parents left her and gently opened it.
She took a picture from there and smiled. "Don't be mad at me mom, dad. I'm only doing this to live.
I'm not ready to die yet, I still need to know who really murdered you, is it Vlad or the Vincent they're talking about."
She whispered softly and hugged that photo.
