A Dangerous Atrophy

CHAPTER 1.

"This place looks strange right Camille?" Ella asked with her hands clasped together at her front.

" I see nothing weird here" Camille retorted with a sly smile.

Ella felt uncomfortable there , seeing men smoking, half naked women around, she felt out of place, the stares on her when she stepped into the hall made her feel like some outcast, she wore a pink. gown below her knees that didn't expose parts of. her body in her nude high heels with her long black hair that reached her elbow, being out of place was an understatement.

Ella looked around in confusion , she just stood in a corner holding her phone in her clasped hands.

"Camille , do you think Jason is here?" Ella asked nervously , she coughed lightly because of the smoke from the cigarettes.

"Yes , I am sure of it, his friend told me he would come here, you want to surprise him so exercise some patience" Camille replied smiling.

"You are right, I just feel a bit nervous," Ella said, biting her lower pink lips softly.

"Jason, where are you?. Ella thought looking around, some women were glaring at her and talking about her appearance, she heard one say ``''Does this look like princess party ",Ella turned away, she didn't want to hear anymore of their derogatory remarks about her.

"Let's go find a seat somewhere "Camille suggested.

" I don't feel like sitting among these people "Ella said in disapproval.

" Ella don't start here, this is a party, you are to have fun and not act like this is some wake keeping "Camille said in annoyance.

Camille took two glasses of liquor from one of the waiter's trays and stretched one to Ella.

" Drink and forget would relieve you of your stress "Camille said smiling, hoping she would collect it and take a sip.

" Camille , you know ,I don't drink so this proposal of yours is unacceptable "Ella said in irritation.

" Why are you so annoying Ella ? "Camille asked in disbelief.

" I don't want to drink, you can't force me, this place seems too strange and crude for Jason to here "Ella pouted.

" You act like an idiot most times "Camille said and went to a table nearby and. dropped two glasses of liquor." You are so adamant and it irritates me "Camille rolled her eyes.

One more failed plan.

" How do I get her drunk now? "Camille asked in a low voice audible to only her.She glared at Ella who wasn't staring back at her.

" You have to fall into my trap tonight itself , today Ella, I must get rid of you and have Jason all to myself. Camille thought with an evil smile that brimmed on her face.
