My Hell Began With His Obsession

“Ruby, food is ready”. mom's voice came from the dining hall.

“Mom, I am coming”

I looked in the mirror and straightened the shirt I was wearing. My shoulder-length hair was combed. Then I put the ID card around my neck. After that, I took the bag from the hanger and put it on one side of my shoulder. I opened the bag to confirm all the things in it. That monster team leader kill me when I forgot something. Before leaving my room, I go straight to the painting of Cleopatra which hanging on the wall of my room. It is not an expensive painting. I purchased it from Amazon. Although the painting is cheap, still Cleopatra looks amazing in the painting. It was not only Cleopatra's beauty that amazed me, but also her life. She has had enough of wealth, power, and men. She slept with the historic Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. she always has a place in our history. I want to live like Cleopatra.

“Ruby, come quick”. Mom called again. I left the room and goes straight to the dining hall.

When I reached the dining hall, I saw my father, mother, and sister Lucy eating.

I placed my bag on the nearby table. Then I come near to the dining table. I took a chair and sat on it.

Mom placed the pancakes in the center of the table in a bowl. Pancakes are my sister Lucy's favorite. When I looked at Lucy, her focus was on the mobile phone in her hand. She puts the pancake in her mouth with one hand and runs her finger through her mobile phone with the other. She has a smile on her face.

“Didn’t you have no class today?” I asked Lucy.

She said nothing more.

“Then Lucy started a new love affair,” I said in my mind. I take the pancakes from the bowl.

“Your sister got a new boyfriend. That boy will come this evening. He wants to get to know us all. I gave permission,”. Dad said after stopping eating.
