Olivia stood in front of the dark, foreboding castle, her heart racing as she prepared to knock on the door. She had no idea what to expect, but she knew she had to see Damien again. She took a deep breath and raised her hand, ready to knock, when the door swung open.

"Olivia," Damien said, his voice low and husky. "I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon."

"I couldn't stay away," Olivia replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I need to see you, Damien. I can't stop thinking about you."

Damien's eyes darkened as he looked at her, and Olivia felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew she should be afraid, but she couldn't help the way she felt about him.

"I can't deny the way I feel about you either," Damien said, his hand reaching out to brush against her cheek. "But we both know this can't continue. Your pack would never accept us, and I could never be with someone who hates what I am."

Olivia's heart sank at his words, but she knew he was right. She couldn't betray her people, no matter how much she loved Damien.

"I know," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I can't help the way I feel about you."
