TWO FACES TWISTED FATE

Damon’s POV

I am the third child of the Alpha of the Ice Moon Pack. My father, Bergan Cooper, is the Alpha. My brother Morn is next in line, then my sister Elaine, and then me—Damon Daniel Cooper. Well, actually now it's Dr. Damon Daniel Cooper.

My mom died giving birth to me, which sets me apart from my siblings. I inherited more of my mom’s traits than the others, so instead of being a brilliant white wolf with ice-blue eyes like them, I’m white and brown with one blue and one golden-brown eye. This trait carried over to my human form as well. I usually wear a colored contact to hide it—no need for the extra attention.

My childhood was happy for the most part, though there were many trials. My mom’s side of the family blamed me for her death, so they cut ties with us and even tried to sacrifice me when I was five in an attempt to bring her back to life. We also faced constant attacks from the Crimson Clan, who felt my father stole their birthright as Alpha. He had challenged and won the position from their father before any of us were born to save the pack from Crimson's ruthless tyranny.

Thankfully, my father and siblings have always stood by me, and I by them. Since I wasn't destined to become the pack Alpha, I chose to go to medical school and became a doctor—a profession that I absolutely love. Now, I work as one of the pack doctors.
