‘AAAKKKKKKK!!!’
Minatta screamed as she pulled the white blanket up to her neck, covering her naked body on the king-size bed with fluorescent lights behind the headboard, making the room dimly lit yellowish. At the same time, her eyes bulged to stare at a man who was fast asleep beside her.
‘What? Wh-what the hell?’ The man who woke up also looked shocked and was trying to recognise the situation. His face also looked shocked as to why he was shirtless in an unfamiliar room that appeared to be a hotel room.
Moreover, what shocked him the most was, who was this girl?
‘Who are you?’ shouted the man covering his chest by crossing his arms, inching backwards to the end of the bed with a puzzled look in his eyes.
‘I should have asked!’ Minatta pointed at the man with puddles in both corners of her eyes. His eyes were already red and hot. ‘Why am I here!?’ he shouted biting his lower lip and eyes bulging.
‘Shit!’ The man hit the mattress with his fist. ‘I don't remember anything!’
‘You're crazy! You must have brought me here, right!’ Minatta didn't believe the man's excuses and denials. Clearly, the stinging between his groin was quite pronounced at the moment. He was absolutely certain that this man with the handsome face but cunning nature of a fox had set him up, somehow.
‘I really don't remember!’
Minatta didn't want to believe it. He thought this man had indeed set him up, but was pretending to be innocent. ‘You were the one who approached me at the club last night, right?’
‘At the club?’ The man frowned. ‘I didn't go to the club at all.’
‘Liar!’
‘I'm sure that I didn't go there. Let alone drink,’ the man argued.
‘You expect me to believe you?’ snarled Minatta, who was determined not to fall for the fox's tricks, whatever they might be.
‘I don't want to argue with you. I told you that I don't remember anything.’ The man shook off the blanket and got up. Minatta would have screamed if the man wasn't wearing anything, but luckily he was still wearing underwear.
‘I asked you your name!’ Minatta should at least know that name.
‘What for?’ The man picked up the clothes scattered on the floor and put on his boxer briefs quickly.
‘For me to report to the police!’
‘Haha!’ The man chuckled in annoyance. ‘On what grounds?’
