I am the runt of my pack. Brutally punished and abandoned by my family and pack member. I will make sure they won't see what hits them.

Chapter 1 One

I climbed over the 10 inches wall looking at the vast forest ahead of me. Finally, I was free.

"Hey stop there" he shouted at me, turning back to his fellow guards "Sound the alarm a prisoner has escaped".

I jumped down over the wall landing on my paws. I wasted too much time calculating the distance to the ground but it was better to do it to avoid casualties. I ran at maximum speed brushing by the trees at full throttle. With my small statue, this was a breeze. A rustle in trees alerted me that they were already close by. That was too fast. I could hear them around me, running ahead trying to corner me up. Not if I can help it. I growled, increasing my pace, making a jump over a log but was rammed midway into the air. I crashed horizontally into the trees breaking through them one by one slowing my pace until I hit the final bark with a thud.

"Hey, pipsqueak, could you move my share of wood while you're at it" they laughed, while the person talking grinned waiting for my response I stared at them nonchalantly before I continued my work. "Who told you to ignore me, you fucking runt" he grabbed my collar yanking me away from the ground. I was really small compared to his height. I didn't make a fuss just waiting for an impact on my face. Just get over with it, I thought to myself.

"Hey what are people doing over there, get back to work unless you want to be punished for slacking then be my guest" the guards came with his menacing look that sent cold shivers down our backs. Who could not fear them? He let go of me, letting me fall on my butt. He clenched his fist as he gritted his teeth walking away. I stood up dusting my rear and went back to my yard work. The whispers got louder after a fight.

"Why do we have to share this hellhole with a fucking runt like our lives couldn't get any worse" one of them murmured loudly not that I couldn't hear the hushed whispers from the rest. I just didn't bother to listen minding my work. He wanted me to hear him loud and clear. "Be careful I heard that she has co-existed with a witch who knows what she would do to you" the whisper got loud. Annoying. I gripped the log tight creating a dent in the bark.

The growls surrounded me. I struggled to stand, managing to balance myself on my hind leg which had broken from the crash. I slumped on the leg and it was taking time to heal. Stupid weak body, the runt body does have its annoying sides. But this isn't time to think, I was surrounded and about to be slaughtered. I tried once again, my legs gave out and I slipped to the ground. One of them emerged from the shadows slowly walking up to me. He changed back, the commander I guess he wants to finish me off. I didn't move when his claws were raised, about to sink into my neck. One of the wolves gave an ear-piercing shriek as he collapsed to the ground stopping the command. Everyone's gaze went to the fallen wolf dead on the floor; they went on full alert.

"Stand your ground we may be in an ambush" he shouted another shriek from the left. It was gone one by one. His guards fell. The last one had already turned back to a human grabbing his side as he gouged his intestines out. Crying out from the pain. "Commander help me" he let out one last cry for help before falling into his pool of blood. The commander looked my way, giving a low growl his face still in shock. "It wasn't an ambush you did something, you witch" the anger in his voice changed coming out in slow grunts.

"What's the matter commander feeling a stab in the chest" my legs were getting better. I stood up going over to him tracing my finger as they tore his flesh. He was completely still from the poison. Others were whistling in pain. But here he stood fighting it.

"What did you do to us," he said through gritted teeth, he coughed out blood falling on one knee as he grasped his chest squeezing as if to ease the pain.

" I simply fed you all poison for a week" he fell to the ground. "You're going to pay for this, the pack will avenge us" the light in his eyes faded as life left his body. with that it became silent. I went over to close his eyelids. Sweet dreams commander. I was finally free from them. After ten good years, I stood up and noticed my legs were fine and broke into a run in my human form skipping over the dead carcass of wolves laying on the ground. I was free. This felt almost too easy, no I hooked my head slapping hands on my cheeks. I shouldn't jinx myself. I think I should pay a visit home. I'm sure they will be happy to see me after ten years. I can't wait to surprise them. I got to a part of the forest that was too silent. No night creatures, the air was still, I have a very bad feeling about this. I ran not waiting for whatever it was to come to find me. The ground was crumbling under my feet. Something huge was coming, the vibration of the earth-shaking it was coming after me. I couldn't run at full speed. I looked back to see the trees falling in the distance. If it was I think it is then I'm in big trouble and it was near. It was going to catch up. I checked the small bag strapped over my waist looking for my supplies, it fell to the ground scattering across the floor. It was supposed to be remaining. I search for a transparent bottle with a purple liquid inside. Yes, I found the remaining wolf's bane. The only thing that can kill a werewolf of any kind. One drop could kill me in seconds. I gave a wicked smile, it emerged from the trees in slow strides standing at 7 inches tall, the only wolf who could stand on two feet the enforcer. They were like the boulders of a pack. The last resort, I suspected we would have had one stationed here for defense. This was my first time seeing one, with sharp claws that extend centimeters long, a rock-solid body very hard to penetrate, a small head with small squinted eyes, and his canines visible. A magnificent creature wasted on a small runt like me. I am honored that they think of me as a threat to send the last resort.

It stopped towering above me, I held the vile tightly. The only way to get it is for it to ingest it. There aren't any weak spots outside. What a cheat. It raised its leg to stomp down on me. Seriously, does everyone think I'm that easy to kill? I ran to the side. I can neither outrun him nor can It be paralyzed I circled him before deciding to run in the trees. He went after me in slow strides knocking over the trees. They fell on each other, almost hitting me to the ground.
