Her Howl

Chapter 1

The Luna was full of smiles, the best thing ever had happened to her, she was finally pregnant for the Alpha.

The joy of the Alpha too could not be unnoticed, he had a huge smile on his face, seated in the middle of the room with his Luna by his side, her hands on her still yet flat stomach.

She had waited years to have this child and now she finally was pregnant.

"What do you think we should name our child? And how great is he going to be?" She asked the Alpha who chuckled.

"C'mon, our baby might be a girl"

"I do not think so, I feel like it's a boy and he would rise to become one of the greatest Alphas the land will ever see"

"A boy, a girl, I am fine with any" he kissed her cheek and just then a knock came on the door.

Finally, the seer had arrived, as it was the custom of the werewolves, the futures of prominent people were checked when they were still a foetus.

The Luna and the Alpha were quite confident that their child was going to have a great future and the seer was simply there to confirm it.

The seer bowed before both and moved closer to the Luna.

He placed his hand on her stomach and shut his eyes, trying to feel the energy of the baby and then figure out the future.

He had only placed his hands on her stomach for three seconds before he was thrown off violently by an unseen force.

Falling back to the wall, a few meters away, he groaned with pain before scrambling to his feet.

The smile on the face of the Luna and the Alpha had disappeared, it was replaced a confused look, trying to decipher what was going on.

The seer rushed to the Luna and touched her stomach again, this time with his eyes opened and it did happen again, he was thrown off.

His eyes widened in shock like he had received the worst news of the century, the Luna was scared by his look, she feared for what would likely happen to her child.

"What is wrong? What is the baby going to be?" The Alpha asked the questions the Luna had in mind.

"This is bad" the seer mumbled, confirming the suspicions of the Luna and the Alpha.

"What exactly is bad?" The Luna asked, her voice shaking slightly as her heart hanmered hard against her ribcages.

"She... She is going to be the end of us!" He exclaimed.

"What do you mean?!" The Alpha's eyes widened.

"She is going to be the worst thing that can happen to the land of the Wolves!!" He cried out.

"Her energy is dangerous! She is going to be strong, stronger than even male wolves, she is going to be smart but none of this is going to be useful! She is doom itself!"

"What do you mean?" The Luna questioned, her hand wrapped around her stomach at this point, she was trying to protect her child.

"Her first howl when she gets her first shape shift is going to let all hell loose. As soon as she lets her first howl out, the entire land is going to fall into chaos, chaos that no one would be able to resolve, she is the princess of doom" he let out, with fear in his eyes.

"No one would be able to withstand her powers, no one" he mumbled.

"Not even you, Luna, you are going to die the very day she comes into the world!"

"Nonsense!" The Alpha yelled at the seer and he went quiet for a second

"I hope you can think about it very well, the best option is to get rid of this princess of doom" he pointed at the Luna's stomach which she was covering protectively.

"You have to think about everyone in whatever decision you make, this is going to ruin all of us if you do not get rid of the princess of doom" the seer replied.

"No one can touch my baby" the Luna's eyes turned teary within seconds as she took steps backwards.

"This is for the better of everyone" the seer tried to make her see reasons.

"Let's see" The Alpha said to the seer and together they walked out of the room, the Luna crumbled to the floor, crying and holding her stomach tightly.

"You can not tell anyone about all of this that you have seen" The Alpha said to the seer.

"This is doom for all of us, you have to get rid of that child, Alpha"

"That is the first child I and my wife are expecting"

"And that is going to be the last if you do not get rid of her, at her birth, there is going to be death and at her first howl, there is going to be even more deaths"

"I will do something about it, you only have to keep quiet about this" he reminded the seer.

"I hope you make the best decision Alpha" the seer bowed slightly and retreated backwards.

"Is there any way to avert all of this?" The Alpha asked.

"There is no way to avert this, it must come to pass as long as she is alive and breathing" The seer responded and exited the place.

The Alpha buried his face in his palms, his only thoughts was why the heavens was punishing him this badly.

He could not get a child all of these years and now he was giving birth to a cursed mate!

He returned to his Luna with a sad expression on his face.

The Luna scrambled to her feet and rushed to him, holding his arms.

"What do we have to do?" She asked him and he shook his head.

"There is nothing we can do" he mumbled.

"We have to get rid of the baby" he added and she let out a loud scream.

"We are not getting rid of my baby!! I damn all consequences! I am going to give birth to her!"
