REMUS JASON: The Invincible Moon Alpha

Tossing around the bed, a pair of thick lashes fluttered lightly, and he groaned. Remus woke up and yawned, looking over to his left side and saw the naked lady he had fun with last night. The whole room reek of alcohol and a weird odor. Remus brushed his disheveled deep chocolate hair to the back of head with his right hand and stood up, heading towards the washroom. But he didn't know his movements already woke the naked lady.

" Heading for a bath handsome?", an alluring voice sounded behind him, and he halted. Turning to face the owner of the voice, he walked over to her whilst smiling like a demon, who sighted his prey.

The Invincible Moon pack tried to maintain peace and tranquility among the packs, though his family lived and blend among the mortals, they still maintained their good image.

Remus' Father, Jason Ernolf, was seen as a powerful man with incredible abilities. He was the current Alpha, and he has been ruling well. The humans listed him as the second wealthiest man in New York, with his big company that was widely known around New York, and his total assets.

Everyone respected the Jasons' family, but the only one that turned out to be the bad egg was Remus. Not all the humans knew about him as he abstained from anything that involves publicity, but he was generally famous in the pack.

His sweet moment was caught short by the loud ring of his phone, and he muttered a curse beneath his breath, " Fuck!"

He picked his phone and checked the caller, to only sighed and connect his phone to an ear phone.

" Remus! What is wrong with your line? I have been calling you for three weeks now, but your line wasn't available until now!" The caller roared furiously without stopping, and seemed hurt.

Remus exhaled and robbed his face together, he wasn't comfortable talking to the caller.

" Ashina, can we talk about this later? Am currently driving", he replied to Ashina, but that wasn't what she wanted to hear, and she hissed.

" No! We are not talking about this later, we will discuss this now and end it!" She bellowed, and her loud voice was deafening to his ears. He knitted his brows a little and complained to her.

" Take it easy okay? Your voice is hurting my ear, and please I don't wanna get into an accident."

Ashina mimicked him annoyingly and snapped, " It was all your fault!"

But her words got Remus to rolled his eyes, and he apologized with no real emotion, " Fine, am sorry..."

She finally calmed down and questioned him properly, " Where have you been since all these days? I couldn't get you, and your line wasn't going through. What happened?"

She was damn worried, and at the same time hurt, because he didn't informed her about anything.

" Have been busy", came his nonchalant answer to her question.

She chuckled lowly at his reply, and he instanty knew she didn't buy it. In truth, he was busy, but he was actually busy flirting around, clubbing, drinking, and smoking.

" Like seriously? You think I will fall for that?" He heard Ashina say, and obviously she was expecting him to spill the beans.

Remus shrugged his shoulders and made a U turn with his car. He was still driving and at the same time, trying to pay attention to Ashina.

" Yeah", he briefly said, and Ashina grumbled immediately.

" You idiot! When will you ever try to be truthful? Your lies are sickening Remus!" She spat at him, and her voice echoed loudly in his ears.

" Would you stop bossing and talking to me anyhow? Remember you have no right to question me! Just who do you think you are?! I have been patient with you, and I think I have tried my best. Just let me be! Am sick of all these questions lady!"

He clenched his fists and voiced out his thoughts with lots of frustration and grill. He hates to be questioned anyhow, and he was ready to disrespect anyone who tried to boss him around or dictate to him.

There was a short silence from the other side of the call. Ashina was rendered speechless by Remus' outburst, and she widened her eyes in disbelief.

How could he say that?

Did I really mean nothing to him?

These two thoughts flew into her head instantly, but she shook her head and threw them to a corner in her mind.

" Do you realize what you just uttered?" She inquired him not too loud and, he hummed, " Am aware of what I just said Ashina."

" Really? Don't I mean anything to you then?" Her next question came to his ears, but it carried a sad tone.

He exhaled again and tried to think fastly for an appropriate answer on time.

" Answer me!" Came her desperate voice, since he failed to say anything for some seconds.

" Am thinking!" He hissed, and Ashina rebuked him, " Are you that dumb Remus?"

Remus gritted his teeth and but continued to drive calmly, though he badly want Ashina to just let him breathe in peace.

He would have cut her off on the call but that would surely be an invitation to a silent trouble.

Before Remus could voice out any word, he heard her dulcet voice,

" But I miss you Remus, or don't you miss me? I was actually upset and disappointed, because you didn't tell me anything. And you disappeared for a whole week."

She realized shouting and letting out all her built in frustration wasn't going to help right now.
