Ella walked through the empty hallway heading to class. She needed no soothsayer to know that she was late. She checked her wristwatch and a gasp escaped her lips, she wasn't just late by minutes, but by an hour!!

quick intro meet Ella Blythe, she's sixteen and in final year highschool, she lives with her aunt .

"jeez what to do" she muttered dragging myself to class.

"Ella Blythe you are late, reason??" the geometry teacher asked sternly "uh.... s.....I....r...the..." She stuttered "detention after school" he said with finality and she sighed before walking to her seat.

Some minutes later someone came in "Kelly kang you're late"the geometry teacher said and she rolled her eyes "like I care, continue your class" she said catwalking to her seat.

Rodney scoffed observing everything that just happened "unbelievable so Ella gets detention for coming late and Kelly gets away with it" Axel fumed "this isn't the first time though and school president here didn't say anything about it" Jeremy said pointing at Rodney "but it's none of my business" Rodney grumbled "of course it is, students shouldn't get bullied under your watch" Axel replied "hey why are you getting all worked up? don't tell me you like her" Jeremy teased "hell no, it's just that I hate injustice" axel replied

quick intro meet Rodney McDonald 18 years old highschool finalist, only son of the governor.

"sir I have a complaint" Rodney said waving his hand "yes president what is it?" The geometry teacher asked "you just violated the code of conduct 06, by being partial. Not like I'm being sentimental or something, but as school president It is my duty to point out that your sense of judgement is wrong" Rodney stated and the class became noisy, the geometry teacher sighed "I'm sorry class my decision was wrong. Ella your detention has been cancelled" he said and walked out in embarrassment.

Ella stared at Rodney for the umpteenth time, "can't believe my crush stood up for me gosh I'm so excited" she giggled and just then, the bell jingled, she rushed to his seat "thanks a lot I owe you one" she said childishly and he chuckled "learn to defend yourself" he said curtly and walked out "at least I got to thank him" she muttered walking to her seat when she bumped into someone "I'm sorry it was a mistake " she murmured looking down. "look who we have here, if it isn't Ella Blythe the blind bat" kelly smirked and her minions chuckled "save me oh God" Ella prayed in her heart starring at her shoes as if it were he first time she saw them "when I'm talking, you look at me" Kelly yelled and Ella flinched "awnn mummy's baby is scared" Cindy (one of Kelly's minions) taunted "oh please she's got no mum, no dad, no siblings, she was ABANDONED" Kelly mocked placing emphasis on the "abandoned"

her minions laughed while Ella sobbed slowly "well this is just a warning stay away from Rodney McDonald while I'm still nice I wonder why he defended you earlier" she spat and landed two slaps on Ella's cheeks before walking away with her lost puppies. Ella dried her tears and was making her way to her seat when someone dragged her out.

"admit it Axel you like her" Jeremy teased and Axel frowned "I don't, she's not my type" he replied and Rodney rolled his eyes "do you even have a type? because the last time I checked Cisca was slim, Leah was chubby, Karen was bursty, Layla was..." Jeremy was saying when Axel cut him off "did I ask you to remind me of all the girls I've dated?" "duhhhh just wanted to remind you that you do not have a type, I'm very sure you like Ella." Jeremy replied "didn't we come to eat? you both at just something else"

Rodney groaned. "OMG don't tell me you like her too" Jeremy smirked and Rodney hissed walking out of the cafeteria "he's too short tempered" Axel muttered "who cares" Rodney scoffed. While walking back to class, he walked past an empty class and gasped at what he saw Ella and ...

when Rina couldn't take it anymore, she dragged Ella to an empty class " really? so you're just gonna let Kelly and co. bully you? can't you stand up for yourself?" Rina yelled at Ella and she burst out crying " urggg not again, I get it you're fragile and emotional but there are times when you need to get tough and defend yourself " Rina said staring intently at Ella "let's be friends" Rina said and Ella stared at her in bewilderment "really ??? you're the governor's daughter and I'm just ..." Ella was saying when Rina cut her off " it doesn't matter I just like your personality though you can be annoying at times I guess I'd just have to teach you to be bold doll" Rina chuckled and Ella frowned " I'm not a doll" she argued and Rina chuckled " but your personality speaks otherwise".

"Ella and Rina together smiling? really weird Rina doesn't like making friends her last friendship with Hazel didn't end well. since then, she's decided to be all by herself" Rodney muttered" hey sweetheart" Kelly said walking towards Rodney who in turn frowned "don't call me that" he replied and she grinned foolishly "I guess you don't know yet, we're getting married "she smirked "what?????????" Rodney yelled

"no dad ain't agreeing to that shit, I hate Kelly kang" Rodney half yelled walking fully into his father's study "young man that's not a request documents have been signed since you both were kids" his dad replied and he frowned "what about what I want?? dad why are you being like this" he said trying to conceal the emotions in his voice " son you're getting married to her and that's final" he said sternly "but dad why Kelly?? I hate her, she treats commoners like rags" Rodney said hopefully praying his dad will oblige but his dad smiled "how else should commoners be treated??" "coming from the governor whose duty is to lead the state into prosperity and grant opportunities to the wealthy and commoners alike, I must say I'm highly disappointed" Rina said walking in with four guards behind her "Rina stay out of this" president McDonald said "but dad" she pouted and he frowned "no buts Rodney is getting engaged to Kelly and that's final, you both should leave now"he said sternly.

Ella removed a locket from her neck and stared at it as tears brimmed at the corners of her eyes "is it true? did you both really leave me " she cried loudly reminiscing all the times Kelly bullies her, "it's not like I love getting bullied but what can a sixteen year old do" she muttered aloud "Ella why are you brooding again " Aunt Annie said entering Ella's room and "no aunt I'm just tired" she replied "I'm not dumb yunno" Annie said and sat beside Ella stroking her hair "how many times do I have to tell you, stop brooding you have me, we live comfortably and you attend the best school in New York, how often do I have to remind you 'you can't miss what you never had'" she said calmly "I can't let aunt Annie know that I get bullied else she's gonna take me away from starville then I won't get to see Rodney again" Ella muttered inaudibly "you don't get it aunt " she yelled crying harder and she hugged her patting her hair.

"I said orange juice not apple smoothie you idiot" Kelly yelled at a maid "I'm sorry ma'am" she said unable to look at kelly "your apology isn't necessary because you're fired" she yelled at the maid "I'm sorry ma'am please pardon me" she begged and Kelly chuckled flaunting her hair "get your stinking self out of here bloody commoner" Kelly replied with an evil smirk playing at the corner of her lips "though I'm a commoner at least I'm not as bitter and miserable as you, I have my parents affection and a happy family" she smirked and Kelly frowned "who gave you the guts to say thrash stupid commoner" "hold it there, you have no right to call me names because I no longer work for you" she hissed walking out of Kelly's room, not without banging the door hard though.

A woman sat on a bed filled with toys and a cute teddy crying and staring at a picture "Jin I miss you, I'm really a bad mother I shouldn't have let them take you" she cried harder and her husband walked in "I knew I would find you here " he smiled sadly and noticing her tears he hugged her stroking her hair "sweetheart is it not time to forget Jin and let's move on, it's fifteen years already , I'm just saying, like what if she's dead? you'd be even more broken" he said sadly and she cried even more " I can't forget her, my baby is not dead and I can feel it" she muttered.
