Chapter 1 Meeting A Cute Guy
Diana furrows her eyebrows as her sleep gets disturbed by the piercing sound of her cellphone ringing. She rolls around on the bed and grunts as she reaches out for her phone on the bed side table.
She picks it up to find out it's her elder sister calling. She slid her finger across the phone to accept the phone call.
"Hey sis" She greeted her.
"Hello love,how are you doing?"
"I'm fine sis."
"What do you have planned out for your holiday,are you going over to Mum's place?"
"No,I just wanna stay at home and laze around.I might travel if I am opportuned."
"I have an overseas business meeting to attend and I might have to spend a week or so over there. I was wondering if you could come over to babysit your niece and nephew and keep their company".
"Oh ok,I'll come over then. When would you be leaving?"
"I should be there by tomorrow latest".
"Ok, I'll come over today then."
"Alright love,take care of yourself".
"You too,see you soon ".
"Yeah,bye".
She sits up on the bed after ending the phone call. She was about to log in to her social accounts and scroll through her feeds when she caught a glimpse of the time.
"What!" She was shocked. "The day looks so young,how could it be 10am so soon? For how long did I sleep?" She flips off the blanket on her body and rushes into the bathroom to
freshen up. After dressing up,she ordered food delivery through an app on her phone.
After eating,she becomes lazier to pack up her luggage and she starts to reply her messages and scroll through her social feed. She stood up after some time to pack up her belongings. While packing up, she ordered a cab online to drop her off at her sister's apartment. She has been to her sister's matrimonial house just twice after her marriage.
She heard a horn outside and she carried her luggage outside and entered the cab. She surfed the internet throughout the ride and she was dropped outside the gate. She scanned the cab's QR code and paid the driver. She carried her luggage in her hands and pressed the door bell with some difficulty.
The gate opened and the security guard opened the gate and looked down at her. "Who are you asking for?" "I'm Diana, Vivian's younger sister". "Oh! you are Mrs Vivian's younger sister,please come in" he said as he opened the gate wider for her and gestured to her with his hands to enter.
"I've been informed of your coming,I'm sorry for not letting you in earlier". Diana was dismayed at seeing an older man bowing before her "No, it's fine sir. You are just doing your job". The security personnel offered to help her with the bags but she refused and left.
She entered the elevator and saw a handsome lad in a corner of the elevator waiting for his turn while operating his phone. She was about to press the button to select the floor she was going to but was unable to with her height and the luggages in her hands. She kept tiptoeing and was unable to reach it when the guy walked over to her and assisted her with the button.
She was stunned by the refreshing cologne fragrance emitting from the guy and forgot to say her thanks for a while. The elevator dropped at level 30 where the guy was alighting and he was about to step out when she remembered to say her thanks.
He looked back and hummed in acknowledgment. Diana looked at his straight back and gushed to herself thinking how handsome the guy is.
