Chapter 1 He Wants a divorce

Thump!

Amelia felt her heart slammed against her ribcage when she heard his heartbreaking words.

"What? Surprised? Are you surprised that I know your carefully guided secrets? Huh" He said, sarcastically.

She widened her eyes and gasped for breath. She felt her throat tightened. Hot tears streamed down her eyes.

"Ethan you know............"

'Don't you dare call me that! The Only people who are permitted to call me that, are people who are close to me. And are worthy."

She felt needles prick her heart, to an extent it began to bleed. Weren't they husband and wife? How come they are no longer close to each? Unworthy? Is it what he has always felt about her? That she was unworthy of him?

She swallowed and sniffed. " Ethan, i mean Ethan Dan Greg, you know the truth yourself. You know i never did any of such things you are accusing me of"

"What truth are you talking about? What truth do i know Amelia, what truth you bloody liar" He said, raising his more higher than ever.

She was startled into a daze. This was the first time he had raised his voice on her since they were married. He has always spoke to her with a gentle voice. Though he has been acting strange lately, it hasn't gotten to the point where he raises his voice when talking to her.

" Ethan, you know it yourself. I was a virgin" She still tried to retort.

" Virgin? That's a joke. What made you think you would be able to lie to me? You were no virgin. You did surgery to deceive me, you liar"

"Enough !"

Both of them swiftly turned towards the person who shouted.

"Ethan Dan Greg, she is your wife. You shouldn't humiliate her like this. Is this what i have taught you"

" Father, you were one of the people who made me marry this sl*t. And right now i am tired of this marriage"

" Watch your tongue, Ethan!" A voice thundered, causing everyone to keep quiet for a minute.

"Grandfather! Please calm down, it's not good for your health" A woman, rushed to his side when she saw him breathing heavily after shouting.

She turned to him and said, " Ethan, you should be careful what you say"

" I don't care!"

This shocked everyone. What happened to their loving and fillial son, grandson, brother, cousin and husband? He was now like a stranger to them.

" Amelia Pearls, i have had it up to my neck. I am tired of you and i can no longer continue with this marriage" He declared with a cold tone, a bit more calmly.

"What do you mean, Ethan?"

" Ethan, i said watched your tongue!"

"Brother, you can't say that to sister-in-law"

" Don't take rash decisions"

Different voices were reprimanding him for his words.

"It is a decision I have thought through and made up my mind on"

"What do you mean, Ethan" Though, she knew what he meant but she could not bring herself to believe it. She wanted him to say that wasn't what he meant.

But her hopes were shattered.

"I want a divorce" He declared, expressionlessly with a cold voice. It was as if they were talking about what he wants to eat.

"No, you can't be serious, Ethan. Tell me you are joking" She said, anxiously. And then began to laugh as if it was really a joke.

Everyone else was shocked when he said what they've been thinking he meant.

" You brat! No one divorces anyone in my family. This marriage is for better for worse" Mr. Robert Greg, his Grandfather shouted at him.

" Ethan, he is right. You are not allowed to divorce her" His father supported.

" You both have been making decisions for me all my life. Now it's time to take my life decisions into my own hands. I am divorcing her and that is final" He declared firmly, without giving any opportunities for negotiation.

This was more shocking to everyone. Has he eaten something bad? Or was he under some kind of spell?

"Ethan, please don't do this. I promise I'll give you a child. No please don't do this" she pleaded when she saw his seriousness.

She moved close to him and wanted to touch him but he avoid her hand like she had some kind of disease, he would contact if she touched him.

He looked at everyone present and turned to walk out. Seeing him walking away, she rushed to follow him.

She abruptly knelt down on the floor in front of him with her two hands clasped in front of her. Her eyes were red from crying. A mark was left by her tears which had dried up, yet fresh hot tears rolled down her cheeks again.

"Please, don't take rash decisions. I'll get a child for you by any cost but please don't divorce me" She pleaded.

He looked at her indifferently and shifted to the right to walk away. She quickly followed him, pleading with him.

Everyone in the room was yet to recover from the shock. He seemed like they didn't know him anymore. The grandfather and father were even more shocked. He has always been an obedient grandson and son. The character he displayed was new to them.

Everyone felt sorry for her except for one person. The person squinted it eyes sinisterly and smirked devilishly. This son was beginning to have some sense now.

"Good job, son"

----------

Outside.

Amelia ran after him as he walked towards the parking lot in a fast pace. Like he was eager to get rid of her.

"Please, Ethan you can't take such decisions. I will give you want ever you want"

He abruptly stopped when he heard the last part of her sentence. As if to give it a thought. She looked at him hopefully.

After a while, he bent down to her ear to whisper something.

" I want a divorce"

She looked at him in disbelief. He was firm in his decisions. She wouldn't be able to change his mind.

" But i can't give you that, Ethan."

" But you just said you would do what ever i want and i want a divorce. So don't make things hard for me. I'll get my lawyer to bring the papers any time soon and please don't cause trouble. Ensure you sign them" He concluded, and walked towards his car. He opened the door and got in, then drove off without sparing her another look.

She stood there with wide eyes, full of confusion, frustration, and other kinds of emotions.

He was adamant. He would really divorce her.

----------

The black Maybach stopped in front of a building and Ethan Dan stepped out of it.

He locked the car door and walked into the building. Inside the building, he directly took an elevator up to the 7th floor of the building.

When the elevator came to a halt, he walked out of it, towards a door.

He knocked on the door and waited for a while.

Not quite long, a coquettish woman opened the door and instantly have him a hug when she saw him.

"Hi, baby. I really missed you so much" she said with a pout.

He chuckled in his throat and pinched her nose. " I miss you too, darling?"

She dragged him in and locked the door. She then wrapped her hands around his neck.

" So how did it go?" She asked, bringing her hand to touch him chin.

" It went according to plan. That woman wouldn't signed those papers easily if we don't force her"

"I know. She is too stubborn but we would put her in her place. What about your family? Would they agree?"

" I don't care if they don't. I have my life to live and they can't make decisions for me" he declared.

" It sounds better coming from you" she said, in a seductive tone as she licked her red lips.

His eyes darkened and he quickly leaned forward to kiss her but she dodged.

He grunted unhappily and feeling the sudden heat which emitted from his body. He leaned forward to kiss her again and she dodged.

She looked at him and unknot her robe and moved closer to him.

" You did a good job today. Now it's my turn to reward you,................"

----------

A woman lay comfortably in a relaxing chair. About four to five girls were around her. One was giving her a shoulder massage, Another was giving her a feet massage, while Another was helping her peel fruits and the last one was cleaning her finger nails.

The phone on the table beside her suddenly rang and the girl massaging her feet, brought the phone to her.

" Hello mom, where are you?" A feminine voice asked from the other end of the phone.

" I am at home. Are you coming home?"

"Yes, we have something to celebrate"

" What is that?"

" He has finally did it"

" What! You can be serious" she said with a high pitched voice, startling the girls.

"Of course i am Mom"

"This really calls for celebration then. Come home we should celebrate"

" Ok Mom" the call ended.

My daughter is now becoming more useful and wiser now. Ah, that is good. So sorry Lily. She muttered as an evil glint flashed passed her eyes.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ “I want to get a divorce, Mark,” I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time—even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
