....Present...
The body was lying near the water fall on sharp stones. It was bloody, revealing traces of broken flesh under the clothes and it was a miracle that she was still alive after enduring everything.
She, the eldest princess of human world was married to the youngest Lycan prince so that the humans and Lycans/werewolves could live in peace but now she was dying alone unable to move her one finger.
But the physical pain was much less than the pain in her heart. She trusted him when he said he was going to protect her then why he let others to harm her.
Just so he could go back to his mate?
She tried to open her eyes but her eyes filled with blood. She was helplessly lying in her own pool of blood.
Suddenly, behind the red curtain she saw a shadow coming down the stones.
She coughed a mouthful of blood as someone approached her and glanced at her. He raised his sword while she tiredly closed her eyes ready to get free of all the pain she was experiencing but deep down she wanted him to come and save her.
Deep inside, she wished it was not her husband that tried to kill her. But she knew the truth. She was just an unwanted bride of the lycan prince.
"Forgive me princess but it's the order of the prince."
She heard a voice and the little hope in her heart ended.
Did he really send someone to kill her?
But he promised to protect her. He promised he would take care of her.
.......Four months ago.....
"Princess Saya, your brother is waiting outside." A maid told her as she looked at her reflection in the big mirror.
She was known as the rare beauty with her big doe green eyes, red plump lips and milky snowy skin. There were a line of princes who were ready to marry her but she was going to marry a savage.
Few months ago, a peace treaty was held between Lycans and humans and because Lycans do not have daughters so it was decided that a human princess will marry a lycan prince.
Unfortunately, her mother as the queen decided for Saya to get married. The other option was her younger sister who was just sixteen by the time and saya could not fight with her mother anymore.
Her father was killed in a war with Lycans many years ago and in that war the queen of Lycans also lost her brother.
Everyone lost someone important in that war and after her mother took the throne, she did her best to avoid wars at all cost and now there were many areas where humans were living together with Lycans and werewolves.
She inhaled deeply and walked towards the door. She glanced at her brother who tried to smile but the smile did not reach to his eyes at all.
Saya smiled and wrapped her hands around the arms of his brother.
Soon she was walking down the stairs and stopped as she glanced at the man who was standing in the end waiting for her.
She scanned him as she stood in front of him knowing that the man was clearly irritated. She did not know why she suddenly felt a chill moving down her spine standing beside him.
Exchanging the vows, she did not glance at him and as the priest announced them husband and wife, the man turned and left without kissing her
Yifang entered room as soon as the wedding ended. He was not able to look at the girl in white dress because his eyes were on someone else.
"What was that? Why you left like this? Do you even know how angry your father is?"
He was pacing inside the big room when the door opened and his uncle entered inside while Yifang stopped as he knitted his brows while his eyes turned golden.
"What is going on?" The man carefully asked him while Yifang let a low growl indicating his anger and the next second the table was smashed into pieces.
"What is going on? What about my mate?"
"Your mate? What about her?"
"She was there. I saw her...." Yifang remembered the girl who was sitting with the queen.
Yifang had no choice but to agree to this marriage as his elder brother found his mate few weeks before the wedding.
If anyone thinks that Yifang actually cared about finding a mate then that person was wrong and his uncle also knew this.
He was an immature, selfish, psycho, vile creature who only loved to see others in pain. He was too proud of himself that even the lycan king was afraid of his younger son.
The old man knew that the little prince was just using that excuse to get himself out of this situation but no matter how hard he tried he already got married.
"I will kill her." He announced his plans while Kyle sighed.
"You can not. And I will keep an eye on you from now on Yifang so be better with that poor girl."
Kyle warned his nephew as he turned and left the room knowing that no one in the palace was going to be good with that poor princess.
"Arghh...I hate everything. Just wait you little bitch, you will beg me to kill you."
He growled as he picked a vase and smashed it on the wall with force.
"And I will not give you an easy death." He laughed as he looked like a maniac wanting to devour his prey.
After an hour, he came out of the room and went to the hall where around a big table where sitting all the imported people from the two kingdoms.
He hated to admit but as the two girls were sitting together, his human bride was way more prettier than his mate.
"Prince Yifang, please come and sit with us." The other girl smiled and invited him to sit with them but Yifang frowned and went to his uncle.
Saya pressed her lips together feeling humiliated.
"He must be busy. He haven't seen your beauty or he would never ignore you."
Ursala, her cousin tried to change the topic while Saya smiled bitterly. She was going to leave the kingdom in few hours and her heart was already aching.
