Ming Yin City is a fairly busy city in Hui Shan Province, Ming Country. The inhabitants of this city move fast like time is spinning to carry out their daily activities.

Life in Ming Yin City was like a fairy tale, for a stark difference would be seen in this city when it was bright in the morning and during the day, and when it was dark at night.

In the light or in the morning, this city is very beautiful to look at because it is located at the foot of the Huashan mountains which are famous for their beauty and cool nature. Not to mention the movement of residents of the city of Ming Yin, whose mobility is very high in carrying out their daily activities.

The cool and green trees make the eyes feel fresh to see them. Not to mention the clean air, making anyone feel at home in this city.

But that's when the atmosphere of this city is bright in the morning and afternoon.

When night falls, the city suddenly becomes a ghost town, because all the residents who move around carry out their activities from morning to evening, when night falls it is as if they are gripped by fear by hiding in their respective homes.

As for what the residents of Ming Yin City are afraid of, is the thick white fog that always comes to cover this city from the Huashan Mountains. This cold mist is said to carry various wild creatures that can instantly drag anyone into this fog to disappear forever, if they are touched by this thick white mist.

Even though there is always a threat when night falls on this city, the residents of the city seem reluctant to move from this city which has provided them with a lot of sources of fortune. They chose to survive in the city of Ming Yin rather than move to another city that may not necessarily produce for them.

As long as the townspeople stayed inside their homes, this white mist couldn't disturb them. It was as if their house had been installed with an antidote for this mysterious white fog. Who installed the antidote for this mysterious white mist is still a mystery to the residents of Ming Yin City.

No one knows the origin of this mysterious white mist. It is said that this white mist has existed for a long time, and it always haunts Ming Yin City at night. The purpose of this white mist, which always comes to Ming Yin City at night, is also a mystery that the residents of Ming Yin City can't solve.

With no activity at night, the residents of Ming Yin City were very effective at working to catch up to their short time. There is no downtime for these city dwellers in the light. They really take advantage of the time given to them for activities.

One of the residents of Ming Yin City is a poor young man who is alone by the name of Zhou Shen. This young man worked as a fisherman catching fish on the Huang Shin river which flows through this bustling city.

The Huang Shin River is a clear river and is also a port for trading ships in Ming Yin City. This river is rich in abundant fish.

Zhou Shen catches fish in the morning and sells them at noon in the markets scattered in Ming Yin city. When it was late at night, Zhou Shen and all the townspeople immediately closed themselves to stay in their respective homes.

This poor young man only got a little silver that was enough for his needs that day, because the working time was short for him. But for Zhou Shen, it was enough for him to pass the day without going hungry.

Zhou Shen lived in a small house on the outskirts of Ming Yin town which was close to the Huashan mountains. So the white mist that terrorizes the townspeople must have passed in front of his house first before heading to the city center.

All this time Zhou Shen had always been safe and had not been bothered at all by the mysterious white mist that carried these various dangerous beasts.

"Zhou Shen...you didn't catch any fish today?" asked one of his regular fish buyers who always bought Zhou Shen's fish.

"No uncle, the fishing boat is being used by the owner so I can't rent it for today!" Zhou Shen said.

"What are you eating today, if not selling fish?" asked the uncle who bought this fish.

"I don't know uncle Zhang... at most I just fish in the lake near the mountains!" Zhou Shen said.

"Don't be too late on the road ... remember the danger of white fog!" Uncle Zhang ordered.

"Okay uncle... I'll be back before noon so I can get home on time," said Zhou Shen.

"If you don't get food today, you can stop by uncle's house!" bid uncle Zhang this.

"Thank you very much uncle Zhang... I will consider it!" Zhou Shen replied kindly.

Zhou Shen's trip to Lake Yin Nan, located in the Huashan mountains, took about two hours by foot, but this young man tirelessly went through it in order to get a few fish that could be exchanged for silver to buy daily needs.

Zhou Shen's very poor life was lived with great fortitude.

Zhou Shen's parents were lost in the white mist that engulfed this Ming Yin city when they were late getting home after selling fish at the market.

Yin Nan Lake is rarely visited by Ming Yin townspeople because it is said that a giant golden dragon lives in it. Several townspeople had seen the appearance of this golden dragon, though they couldn't prove it.

Many connected the appearance of this gigantic golden dragon with the beast within the white mist that had devoured many of Ming Yin townspeople, including Zhou Shen's parents. Rumors were circulating that a gigantic golden dragon nestled within this white mist that devoured anyone it encountered at night.

This beast in the white mist, no one has ever seen, so the people just believe what they hear.

There are also residents who believe that this white mist does not contain wild creatures or giant golden dragons, but only white mist with a dimensional portal that carries living creatures swallowed up by this white mist to other realms or dimensions.

Zhou Shen believes more in this dimensional portal theory even though it feels impossible. However, this belief can raise his spirits because he feels his parents are still alive somewhere in another realm.

The townspeople of Ming Yin chose to play it safe in trusting the townspeople who saw this golden dragon rather than rushing to this lake to prove it.

Zhou Shen had been to Yin Nan Lake many times, but had never seen the gigantic golden dragon that was rumored to be the inhabitant of this lake.

"I have to catch a lot of fish today... otherwise, I might starve for the next few days," Zhou Shen resolved to himself.

Zhou Shen didn't realize that the destiny that brought him today to Yin Nan Lake would turn his ordinary life into one full of adventure.

The life which is also full of dangers that he will live follows the fate that has been bestowed upon him.
