Chapter 1 The Birth of Prophecy

From vast territories of forests, many of which are unexplored by man, to a gigantic patch of dense forest that for mere humans was only home to insects and animals, located on the American continent, where invisible to human eyes was long ago, established the kingdom supernatural.

Before two powerful races were declared enemies, each having its own king, the rest of the supernatural beings, such as witches and healers, were divided serving one side.

We're talking about Vampires and Werewolves, many lives including human were lost in the war between the two species, until one day an ancient prophecy was fulfilled, and the impossible happened, a vampire was destined as a companion of a werewolf, and not managing to escape destiny the two fell in love and from their unique union was born the first hybrid of the two species.

A being so powerful that at three years old he already turns into a black wolf that surpasses the wolf of many adults in size, at four he attacked a little friend taken by bloodlust, he just didn't kill him because he was stopped by his father who arrived in time , no one believed when it was announced that Aiden was a wolf and a vampire, his exploits began to spread throughout the supernatural world, and wolves, vampires and beings of all kinds came from far away to meet the child, who according to legend would unite the races, about a single government.

With fame also came dangers, for those who were born into the lineage of the throne of either race or race wished for the boy's death, for he signified the end of their dominion.

ButAidan seemed indestructible, overcoming his first enemy at the age of six, it was obvious that Aidan was blessed by the goddess, everyone thought so, and more and more magical beings came to inhabit the forest where Aidan grew up, some with the sincere desire to serve him, others with a desire to usurp their power.

In this way Aidan grew up to be a suspicious man, disbelieving in love and loyalty, and doubting friendship.

When he turned eighteen, in addition to being powerful, all supernatural women waited anxiously, dreaming of being destined by the goddess to be his companion, because, in addition to being powerful, Aidan inherited his mother's devastating beauty, with abundant black hair, green eyes like a stormy forest, a symmetrically perfect face and breaking with his father's muscular body, he drew sighs even from men he passed, but it soon became clear that either Aiden's partner had not yet been born, or she was not around, or the worst Aiden's nightmare was a human.

Over the years Aiden gave up looking and started having fun with any woman who looked like him, and they lined up to be the lady of the time.

Until when he reached the age of twenty and defeated both the vampire king and the werewolf king in battle and was then declared the king of the two species, uniting them under a single government, his father, tired of his debauchery, demanded that he choose and mark someone as lifemate.

There was only one law whichAidan was subject, he could not go back on a law he established, and without thinking about it or the consequences in the future, just wanting to escape his father's persecution, he decreed that to be his companion the woman would have to win a championship, which in fact it was really a massacre, because it had no rules just one objective to survive and prove the strongest, and it determined that this championship would be during the next red moon and would last six months, and in the end the winner would then be marked as his equal, his mate for eternity, or as long as his life lasted.

Aidan at the time thought he was being very smart as the next red moon would take a hundred and fifty years to rise, and by then he was alreadywould be even tired of jumping from bed to bed and it would be a great age to think about having children, because as vampires and werewolves are practically eternal since diseases and old age do not affect them, it was normal for a wolf or vampire to only find his mate after the hundred years old.

His father found himself stuck with his son's decree but in private he said:

"Aidan son, I pray to the moon that you never regretof this decree, the more power the harder it is to control it, and having someone to help you in times of crisis is essential, I hope you really did the right thing, becausehave you thought in case of yourlifemate show up and not be strong enough to beat the others?I do asked if you are goingbear seeher dying to achieve a status that is in fact hers by right?Expect whatyou never have to find out", said his father and walked away sadly wondering if they had not gone wrong in some aspect of raising his son.

Watching his father walk away, Aidan felt a chill wash over him, although he soon put these thoughts out of his head, believing that one hundred and fifty years was too long to worry, and he tried to talk himself out of it.be yours companion was not strong enough healso would not gowant- her for herself

And so theyears went by, and his companion neverhe appeared, and Aidan became everymore and more powerful, arrogant, determined and often cruel, as if he had never witnessed love in his life, although he saw the relationship up close.loving of his parents, it was like something was missing inside him.

Nobody daredchallengehim, though in the shadows some gathered over a flag ofresistance to aiden's reignalthough , these ifkept in the dark, causing trouble here and there, waiting the right time to take from Aidan thedomain.

As time passed, the moon goddess watched the destiny of her greatest creation move toward the end he himself had decreed, and sighed, wishing in her kindness that the strength she gave would be enough toon one far future to sort out the mess
