Letiya night is a young female cat shifter who had finally earned her spot at Wolf warrior academy. A school that trains young shifter to protect the supernatural world from the hunters that wish to destroy them all. Normally only wolf shifter were able to enter the academy but due to her high scores on the entrance exam she was accepted. Right when she thought life couldn't get better hunters attacked Killing her parents and stealing her younger brother, now with her heart set on revenge and bringing her brother home she enters the academy determined to be the best and go after the hunters that took everything from her.
Chapter 1 The night everything was taken
I had been staring at the envelope on my nightstand for the better part of an hour, admiring the beautiful blue and white insignia of Wolf warrior academy that sealed the envelope shut. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. The envelope in front of me contend the fate of my future: everything was riding on what was inside this envelope. Had I been accepted or denied entry to wolf warrior academy. Unable to wait any longer for the answer.
I grabbed the envelope from the nightstand running my fingers over the insignia of a wolf howling at the moon before I tore it open, breaking the beautiful insignia and pulling out the letter that was inside the envelope. I slowly unfolded the letter and began to read it.
Dear Ms. Letiya night
It is our great pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted into this year's class of first years at Wolf warrior academy. Please report to the front gate of the academy at 8 am on September 8th. You may bring a weapon of your choice and a duffle bag of street clothes for when not on school grounds. We look forward to meeting in person soon.

I couldn't believe what I had just read, so I quickly reread the letter a second and third time letting out a shriek of joy as I finished reading it for the third time. The sound of my shrieking brought my concerned mother rushing into my bedroom. "Letiya, what's wrong, are you hurt?" She asked, her voice full of concern. I grinned and handed her the letter watching the smile growing on her face as she read the letter. "You got in." She said shock clear on her smiling face. "Mom I'm going to be the first cat shifter to ever attend Wolf warrior academy." I said excitedly, hugging her. Suddenly our joy and hugging is interrupted by the sounds of my father screaming and my baby brother Mikael crying. My mother and I quickly rush down stairs to see what's going on. As we reach the bottom of the stairs we see my father fighting about 8 hunters fully shifted into his feline form. I quickly noticed a woman with shoulder length strawberry blonde hair and a long scar on the left side of her face. She was standing off to the side holding Mikael by the nap of his neck as he tried clawing her eyes." Such a bad little kitty." The woman says as she slaps Mikael causing him to begin crying once again. I let out a loud growl at her in warning before turning my attention back to my father who is fighting two well built males one shorter than the other. I notice a Tattoo on the back of the taller one's hand as he fights my father. I watch horrified as the shorter one with red hair pulls out a taser and uses it to subdue my father. My mother screams in anger shifting as the taller man stabs my father in the back. I watch helplessly as my father lays there bleeding out and my mother picking up the fight in his place. "Letiya save your brother, save Mikael!!" My mother screams at me as she is forced to the ground and I notice the woman holding Mikael trying to escape with him. Growling I launch myself towards the woman shifting on the way to prevent her taking Mikael. Three more hunters blocked, path. I took note of how these three seemed like brothers with matching height and dark brown hair of different lengths. I try to get around them to no end as the woman escapes taking my brother with her "NO!!!" I scream as I feel a blade enter my stomach and as i collapse i manage to leave a scar on the male with shoulder length hair as my vision goes hazy and I pass out.
"NO MIKAEL!!" I screamed as I jerked awake drenched in sweat from the memory of that horrible night. That night I was completely helpless to save my family. I roll over in bed and look at the time. "Ugh Only 4 am I still have 4 more hours till my first day at the academy begins." I mutter to myself. "Mikael I will find you and bring you home" I vow as I slowly drift back off to sleep. It seemed as if I had only just closed my eyes when I was awoken for the second time this time to the blaring of my alarm. Sighing I drag myself out of bed and to the shower getting ready for my first day at the academy. After my shower I get dressed in my school uniform and step out of the bathroom. I quickly check my duffle bag making sure the photo of my family is safely tucked away inside it. Sighing I grab my sword and duffle bag walking down stairs to the living room where my uncle Killian sat waiting for me on his morning cup of coffee.he smiled warmly when he saw me approaching him. " Your parents would be so proud of you, I know I am. Let me give you a ride to the academy." He said standing up I simply smile and follow him to his truck.
