Being a siren and being able to entrance anyone with her bewitching looks and sultry eyes was a gift that pearl had utilised numerous times to achieve her goal. With a desire to avenge her dead parents, pearl decides to put her powers to use again on a difficult opponent who is none other than the Alpha King. Confident in her powers, pearl had no reason to doubt the effectiveness of her plan until she realises that she might just be the one being tricked. Having to interact with a dangerously charming and engimatic man like the Alpha king and not fall prey to his charms might prove difficult for pearl whose only goal is to unlock the secrets of his private archive.

Chapter 1 PLAN B

The bar was crowded and bustling with drunk humans scattered around, their hungry gazes salivating over the slender but curvy figure moving from table to table. Pearl inwardly shuddered as she kept up a flirty smile on her face whilst she served drinks, keeping her ears open for any intel. This was the bar she knew most of the humans who were part of the hunter organization frequented. They had been using this bar to make business deals, find a one night stand and to sometimes relax. Pearl's target for the night was a pudgy middle aged man whom she had been keeping tabs on for a few days now.

His name was joe, and just like his name implied he was your stereotypical creep who enjoyed taking advantage of weak women and today she knew he was here to scope out his next victim. She watched from the corner of her eyes as his beady eyes roamed her body in a lewd manner before he gestured something to the manager who was always disregarding his dignity to kiss up the old farts ass.

"Jenny!!" came a shout from across the bar which drew her out of her thoughts and brought her attention to the slim and cowardly figure of her manager who stood guard beside Joe.

"Come, quickly. This gentleman over here would like to buy you a drink, now I assume you know how to treat him well don't you" her manager instructed sternly in his best attempt to intimidate her which only made her amused inwardly. pearl maintained a timid and innocent expression whilst she nodded her head weakly which aroused the ugly creep as he revealed an excited smile on his face.

The manager excused himself as soon as he had made her seat beside Mr. Joe, leaving pearl alone in the dimly lit private room with his two bodyguards posted outside the door who were there to make sure that she couldn't escape.

"Here, here drink up" Mr. Joe urged excitedly as he proceeded to push a glass filled with an unknown liquid into pearl's hands as he watched eagerly.

Knowing damn well that the drink had probably been spiked, she proceeded to 'accidentally' spill the drink on his clothes all while apologizing profusely as she pretended to clumsily wipe his shirt. His fat slimy hand came to rest dangerously high on pearl's thigh which she ignored as she felt her eyes begin to glow red before pinning him with a hypnotizing gaze. A small smirk grew on her lips as she watched him slowly lose his sense of awareness and remain motionless before her.

The seductive silhouette remained curled up against the wimp who had been entranced by her and was now a slave to her commands.

"Now you will tell me everything I want to know" a sultry voice purred as dark red lips began to lift into a sinister smirk......

..........

It had been few minutes since pearl had stumbled out of the private room with teary eyes and a trembling body clutching her ripped clothes close to her body. As soon as she made in out to the alley, she dropped the facade and an angry expression crossed her face. Those stupid hunters were smarter than she thought, to think they would actually keep any important piece of information strictly among their inner circle had been a constant stumbling block in her plans. She had not been able to get any useful information from him because she realised he was a decoy, he was made to pose as an important higher up to throw their enemies off their trial.

Pearl released a sigh as she began fixing her clothes which she had purposely ripped in some areas to give off the illusion of a struggle before she disappeared into the dark alley.

Pearl collapsed in an exhausted heap on the cheap motel bed after her shower. She realised that she would have to re-arrange her plan because at the rate she was going she was bound to not make any progress.

The cheap motel bathrobe hung loosely on pearl's lovely frame as she sauntered up to the window where she gazed out into the night sky deep in thought. Her thoughts raced back to the time when she was just a young girl with absolutely no care in the world surrounded by the people she loved. Her family had been small, with just her and her two parents who wanted nothing but to stay out of the spotlight and avoid attention for they knew of the nature of men and their extreme desire to destroy anything that might prove to be more powerful than them.

She could still remember that day vividly, how they had surrounded their house like they were the world's most wanted criminals, she could remember how her father had urged her mother to flea with her whilst he held them back. She could still remember how her blood ran cold as she heard a loud gun shot. Though she was just 10 years old, she had watched enough television to know what that sound meant. Pearl could still remember the last words her mother whispered to her as she placed her gently into the river and clasped a necklace round her neck.

'Be safe my child, and keep this necklace on at all times. I love you, Now go.'

pearl remembered how she had struggled to hold onto her mother, unwilling to let her go for she knew that if she did, she would never see her again. With one last shove pearl was lost within the strong waves of the water and was soon carried away. The last thing pearl saw before she was whisked away was her mother's lone figure laying dead on the shore as the little waves licked at her unmoving figure.

Pearl instinctively touched the gold necklace which had a shell shaped pendant encrusted with small blue crystals.

She allowed herself a brief moment to grieve before she hardened her heart and pushed all the painful memories to the back of her mind.

It couldn't be avoided anymore, It was time for plan B.
