Trapped in Stepmothers Love

"Please spare me,boss. I promise to go away and never show up in your sight"an average looking man pleaded.

His face looked battered and his lips were torn and bleeding. The aura around the room was cold and chilly. Men in black suits holding gun were standing around but the man's gaze was fixed on one man seated elegantly at the far end of the room.

His aura was dominating. From the heels if his shiny leather shoes to the straightening of his black trouser up to his white unbuttoned shirt then to his face, it all commanded power.

A cold smirk appeared on his face as he stared at the pitiful man before him. He tilted his head as his gaze strained on him.

"What did you just say?"he asked huskily and the man gulped down in fear.

"Mercy...please...have...mercy"the man said in shaky breathes and a dark chuckle filled the room as he stood up from the chair

In slow steps,he approached the pitiful man. Each sound his shoes made with the floor was killing and dangerous then he bent before him using the tip of his pistol to raise the man's jaw to meet his gaze.

"Mercy...is one thing I don't have. You shouldn't have tried running away with the goods."he said and the man's lips quivered in fear.

Who was he kidding?This dominating man before him was Sebastian Acosta,the most feared mafia in Italy so of course,mercy was impossible.

"It's such a pity tho...."Sebastian said as he stood up straight ticking his tongue turning his back on the man.

"It would have been great if you witnessed your daughter's death. But you'll meet in heaven...."Sebastian said with a cold smirk.

"....Or maybe in hell"he added as he swiftly turned and pulled the trigger sending a bullet directly into the forehead of the man.

The man's body went limp as he fell to the floor with his eyes still widened in shock.

"Clear the body and burn the whole building"Sebastian ordered as he walked out of the room with some men following him while some stayed back to carry out the order.

Black vans were parked out side the building with one black Lamborghini amidst them. Sebastian elegantly approached the Lamborghini with hands in his pockets and face as cold as ice.

The door was opened for him by a man who bowed and also got into the driver's seat after closing the door.

"Where to?"the driver said and Sebastian sighed as he rested his head on the back rest.

"The clan"he said curtly and the engine roared as they kicked off with a few cars trailing behind them.

Heads bowed as Sebastian walked into the building.

"Father!"he called out as he entered and a middle-aged bald man came out holding a book.

It was obvious he was reading with his spectacles on and the book in his hands.

"You're back"the man said plainly and Sebastian bowed in respect as he nodded.

Of course he had to bow....that was Acosta,the don and founder of the Avenger's clan. The most feared Mafia but as it turned out Sebastian was taking over that title

"How did it go?"Acosta asked as he sat on the couch signalling to Sebastian to sit too which he did.

"Easy...it turns out the motherfucker had a daughter"Sebastian said and Acosta chuckled.

"That must be the reason he wanted to steal the goods and run away...to make a better life for his daughter"Acosta said with a light chuckle and Sebastian snorted.

"Well,he shouldn't have birth her if he knew he couldn't give her a good life. He made a huge mistake by stealing the goods"Sebastian said and Acosta looked at him proudly.

This was his own son that he had trained over the years. His own weapon and he was certain that when he hands the clan over to Sebastian,he will handle it better than anyone could ever do.

"Well done,son. Did you come to see me because you had something to say?"Acosta asked and Sebastian nodded negatively.

"I just wanted to report to you before I head home"Sebastian said and Acosta nodded.

"I'll take my leave now"Sebastian said with a nod as he stood up and walked towards the exit.

"It's my mother's remembrance in a few days time"Sebastian said as he was about to step out and Acosta froze as his face hardened.

Then slowly he turned to his father. He rolled his eyes at the cold look on his father's face. One weakness the great Acosta had was his mother and of course,she was used against him. It took grace for him to survive but she died instead and every day he could see his father hating her.

That was people called Love but to his father it was manipulation. His mother went deep into his father and spread her roots far within him that it couldn't be pulled out so it was very easy for his father to be shaken by her.

He will never fall in love with a woman. He doesn't want to be weak for anyone. Never!...Ever!

"I won't be chanced"his father said curtly and he scoffed.

"We both know that's a lie,father. I'll be expecting you at her graveyard,let the sins of the dead go with the dead. We shouldn't forget her like that"Sebastian said with a bored gaze contrary to the look he had on when talking about his mother and Acosta huffed.

"She's your late wife regardless of what happened so you should honour her even when she's in the grave. We both know you couldn't move on since her death"Sebastian added softly and Acosta growled.

"Don't you dare call that "vixen",my wife. She stopped being my wife the moment she went against me"Acosta growled and Sebastian hummed.

It's actually pointless talking to his dad when it comes to his mom. They always argued like this every year and he'll still end up coming.

"I'll try clearing your schedule for that day"he simply said and walked out with dark smile.

His father doesn't hate his mother,he knew that but his father couldn't just forget the fact that he was betrayed by the woman he loved. He doesn't like his mother either but he still knows he has to honor her death.

He disliked anything that concerns that woman. Anytime he thinks of her,he wished she never birthed him. He could hear the members of the mob sometimes whispering that his mother ruined his father but none of them could say it to his face.

He has rose to power on his own despite his mother's sins. Thinking about it even annoys him.

He angrily stormed into the car and sighed heavily.

"Take me home"he ordered and the driver refused to drive. He glared at him through the mirror.

"Why aren't you driving,Trevor?"he thundered and the driver wasn't even shaken by his roar.

Why will he be? They've been together side by side since they were kids. Same training and everything.

"It's Thursday"Trevor simply said and Sebastian sighed.

It had escaped his mind that he was supposed to go there and unknowingly a little smile spread across his lips.

The one place he always forgot all about the mafia,his mum and his pathetic life. The place that held the one person that gave him pleasure and satisfaction.

"Take me there"he said and Trevor ignited the engine and drove off.
