The blue dragon crystals of power, A battle between two kingdoms

in ages past the blue orthon dragon and its crystals of power came to the land through the portal from the Dragon World, the crystals brought strength and wisdom and were symbols of immortality especially the great orthon dragon, the mighty Crystal with powers so vast It could only be wielded by The King.

Two kingdoms ruled by brothers exist. King Kenos ruled the Kora people while King Mufas was made to rule the people of Dragar. The Kora people who were under the leadership of King kenos lived peacefully and immortality was based on good deeds and hard work. The dragon crystals had the ability to heal the sick and bring prosperity, king Kenos in his secret cave hid the blue orthon dragon along with its crystal of power, so that no one would misuse the dragon powers. Legend has it that the dragon crystals of power in the hands of a wrong person would invoke chaos unleashing the dragon beast of the underworld.

Kora was a land filled with hope and King kenos was married to queen Aurora, daughter of King Taron of the Hitler kingdom, Prince Williams, was their only son, loved and adored by everyone in the kingdom.

King Mufas on the other hand ruled with hostility and Dragar grew dark and barren, and his people were made slaves by other kingdoms and were festered with wars and despair.King Mufas wanted the dragons power of immortality and it's crystal of power so as to unleash the dragon beast from the underworld, which would make him the most powerful king ever lived but to do this he knew, he had to slay the orthon blue dragon and steal its crystal of power, which could grant him access to the portal of the underworld where he would unleash the dragon beast and become the most powerful.

Kenos staring at the map of Kora , "guards", he called, "my anniversary is coming up soon, send word to all the five kingdoms of the west, so they can come drink and be full in my kingdom" said king Kenos happily, and don't forget to invite my brother, he continued, I want him to come witness my anniversary and be happy for me. Neither did he know this would be his doom.

Words reached King Mufas that his brother was celebrating his anniversary, in rage he ultered, " Kenos my brother has always been the favorite child, father choose Kenos over me, when he gave Kora to him ",I must seize this moment to slay the orthon dragon and collect the dragon crystals of powers, he thought to himself, I have waited for 15 years now, for a chance, and this is my opportunity".

Mufas has always wanted a way to enter into king Kenos kingdom without arousing suspicion. "My brother Kenos is a weak man, the crystals of power is mine, I shall become the greatest king ever lived, I shall be immortal".

Guards prepare yourself, I want the great orthon dragon killed and it's powers be brought to me, he said.

That night,as the celebration dwindled when all guards were sleeping,king Kenos stood on the balcony of his royal chambers, carried by the silence of the night. Something gnawed at him,a feeling of despair he could not comprehend.His gaze drifted towards the distant horizon,where the people of Dragar lay shrouded in darkness.

"My king" Queen Aurora's, soft voice broke the silence, drawing him away from his thoughts."what troubles you Kenos"? She asked, stepping closer,draped in a silver gown that shimmered faintly under the moonlight.

He turned to her, forcing a smile, "Am fine my love"he replied, "but your tone betray your words" , she added "I feel a dark shadow creeping Kora, it's as though the air itself carries a warning", he explained Though the unease in his chest remained

Queen Aurora placing her arms around him, "perhaps it's nothing", I think you need rest, you must be tired of exhaustion" she pressed. He nodded, and said nothing, fixing his eyes on the dark horizon. "Let's go to beg my king" holding his hands gently to the bed. As he lay down, he whispered a prayer to the blue orthon dragon,pleading for guidance.

Deep within the secret cave,where the orthon dragon lay hidden, a tremour rippled through the air, signifying unease. Miles away, king Mufas and his warriors under the cover of darkness, secretly entered into Kora. Their movement was swift and silent, their eyes glinting with determination. Mufas clenched the hilt of his sword, his mind focused on the mission.

"The guards are asleep,and my brother grows complacent in his joy. Tonight we take what is ours"

As they approached the secret cave, a deep growl echoed from within. The blue orthon dragon sensed intruder, it's ancient wisdom warns it of the evil intent, tainting in the air. It's restless, it's blue eyes glowing in anticipation of the enemy to come.

Back in the palace, king Kenos heart was racing once again. Now, the feeling was clear, something was definitely off. He called for one of his loyal guards, Authur who came in almost instantly. "Authur," Kenos called looking somewhat apprehensive, "gather the warriors, the hour has come in which I dread that foes stand amongst our threats of the night. Go, secure the perimeters and make sure to close the cave's entrances. Hurry!"

Authur bowed his head, but just as he was about leaving, the castle shook with a loud tremor. Kenos blood immediately ran cold.

Mufas standing eye to eye with the blue orthon dragon in the cave. It's wings stretched wide and it's scale shimmering with a faint glow. The air around them became thick with power.

"You have lived in the land of Kora long enough dragon," he sneered, raising his sword, "the crystals of power will be mine now".

The blue orthon dragon roared, shaking the ground, it lunged at Mufas, it's jaw snapping just a few inches from his face. But king Mufas was fully armed. His warriors moved with precision, striking the orthon dragon, with weapons forged in the fire of Dragar.

The battle was fierce, the orthon dragon fighting strongly to protect it's crystals of power and immortality. It's fiery breath illuminated the cave, scorching the walls and driving back Mufas warriors. Swords after swords weakened the orthon dragon, lives were lost, and with one final hit to the head, the dragon roared and fell.

"Hold it down!" Mufas shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. His warriors threw hooks and chains around the dragon's wings and neck, pulling with all their strength. The beast thrashed, its mighty roars shaking the cave, but the men held firm.

Seizing the moment, Mufas climbed the dragon's back. The orthon dragon twisted violently, trying to shake him off, but he held on, driving his blade into its shoulder. The dragon let out a final, heart-wrenching cry, its struggles weakening as its strength waned.

Mufas approached the dragon's lifeless body,his hands trembling with fear.His eyes fixed on the glowing crystal, now dimming as the beast's life force ebbed away. He reached for the dragon's crystals of power in its chest. The moment he touches it, power was immediately transferred to him, filling him with strength and immortality. His laugh echoed through the cave, a sound of triumph. "Now Kora would be mine", he said, Kora immediately turned dark and it's river red.

Back in the palace king Kenos felt the tremor cease, he hurried to the balcony,staring at the cave. The faint glow of the crystal had vanished. He finally realized that the palace was under attack.

Without waiting for word from Authur, Kenos grabbed his sword and entered the cave. "Alert the guards", "the dragon is in danger", he shouted. But it was too late. By the time Kenos got to where the orthon dragon was, Mufas was already jubilating.

"What have you done"? asked kenos. You have destroyed Kora. "You're too late brother, all the kingdoms of the west must bow down before me", Ha! ha! ha! and immediately a sword fight began, "I'll not allow you do this, the dragon crystals of power and immortality cannot be in the hands of such a man with a wicked heart" Kenos said, and as Prince Williams was about to help his father, Mufas struck Kenos down, as he was no match for him. A loud scream broke out in the palace. Take queen Aurora, she will now be my queen, Mufas ordered his guards. Prince Williams was furious, his heart burning with vengeance and immediately challenged his uncle. A sword fight broke out "you killed my father, I'll make you pay for this for his death, I swear", Clenching his fist, but Williams was no match for Mufas, the dragon crystals of power was now in Mufas custody, making him more powerful, Just as Mufas was about to strike Williams down with his feast, Authur, the king's trusted guard came to his rescue and he was able to escape. We need to leave now my Prince, Authur dragging the Prince so as not to get killed.

"Get them", Mufas was in rage, the guards immediately continued their chase but couldn't capture the Prince. Williams escaped the palace riding a horse along side Authur.

As the first ray of dawn broke over Kora, the rivers that had once sparkled with life now ran crimson, sluggish and thick like blood. The gentle hum of morning birds was replaced by an unsettling silence, broken only by the occasional rustle of dead leaves as a cold wind swept through the kingdom. The green fields, the pride of Kora, had withered overnight, the grass blackened and brittle underfoot.

Farmers stared in horror at their crops, which had rotted on the vine overnight .Livestock lay motionless in their pens. Mothers clutched their children tightly, their faces pale as whispers of a curse spread through the crowd.
