"Serena walked down the busy street, coffee cup in hand. It was a typical morning for her, but today felt different somehow. There was an energy in the air that she couldn't quite place. She turned the corner and saw a man walking towards her, his eyes locked on hers. There was something about him that seemed familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it. They passed each other on the sidewalk, and their eyes met for a brief moment. It was as if time stood still, and the world faded away.
In that moment, Serena felt a strange connection to the stranger. She had never felt anything like it before. As they parted ways, she couldn't help but wonder if she would ever see him again. Meanwhile, Jacob sat at his desk, staring out the window. He had been thinking about the woman he had just passed on the street. There was something about her that drew him in, even though they had only exchanged a glance. He tried to shake off the feeling, but it lingered in his mind. Who was she, and why did he feel such a connection to her. "Serena went about her day, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. There was a strange sense of anticipation in the air, as if something big was about to happen. She couldn't explain it, but it was there, just below the surface. Later that day, she was sitting at her desk, working on a report, when she heard a knock at the door. She looked up and saw a familiar face standing in the doorway.
The man from the street stood before her, a smile on his face. "Hello," he said. "I hope I'm not interrupting, but I couldn't stop thinking about you after we passed each other this morning. There was something about you that drew me in. I had to come and introduce myself." Serena was speechless. She had never experienced anything like this before. She felt a strange mixture of excitement and apprehension, what should she be cautious about it or she should get to know the person?
Serena hesitated for a moment, then decided to take a chance. "Hi," she said, standing up to greet him. "I'm Serena." The man extended his hand. "I'm Jacob," he said, his eyes never leaving hers. They shook hands, and a spark seemed to pass between them. "I'm glad I came to find you," Jacob said. "I felt like we had a connection, even though we've never met before. I know it sounds crazy, but I had to see if I was right." Serena nodded, still a bit unsure of what to make of the situation.
Serena could feel her heart racing. What was it about this man that had such an effect on her? She had never been one to take chances, but something about Jacob made her feel like she could trust him. "I'm glad you found me too," she said, a smile forming on her lips. "I was intrigued by you as well. I've never felt anything like it." Jacob smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I know this is all a bit sudden, but would you like to get a cup of coffee with me?" he asked.
Serena thought about it for a moment. Was she really going to go out with a man she had just met? It seemed crazy, but something inside her said it was the right thing to do. "Yes," she said, surprising even herself. "I'd love to get a cup of coffee with you." Jacob smile widened. "Great! I know a place nearby that has the best coffee in the city. Shall we go?" Serena nodded, and they walked out of the office building together.
As they walked, Serena and Jacob talked about everything and nothing. Their conversation flowed easily, and they discovered that they had a lot in common. They laughed and joked, and time seemed to fly by. Before they knew it, they had arrived at the coffee shop. "This place is great," Jacob said as they walked inside. "I come here all the time." He ordered them both a cup of coffee, and they sat down at a table by the window. The sun was shining through the glass, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air.
Serena and Jacob were talking about their future plans. They were both passionate about their careers, and they talked about their hopes and dreams for the future. The conversation was going well, but then Jacob's phone started to ring. He looked at the caller ID and his face went pale. "I'm so sorry, I have to take this," he said, standing up from the table. Serena watched him leave, a sinking feeling in her stomach.( Back in time, Serena was remembering all this)
Serena sat at the table, staring at her coffee cup. She couldn't stop thinking about what she had just seen. Was everything she and Jacob had built together a lie? She felt betrayed and hurt, and she didn't know what to do. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Jack, looking at her with concern. "Are you okay?" he asked. Serena shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes. Jack sat down next to her and put his arm around her. "You can tell me what's wrong," he said. And so, she told him everything.
Jack listened to Serena's story with a sympathetic ear. He could see how much she was hurting, and he wanted to help her in any way he could. "I'm so sorry you're going through this," he said. "You don't deserve to be treated like this. You deserve someone who will treat you with love and respect." Serena looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "Thank you for being here for me," she said, giving him a small smile. Just then, the door of the coffee shop opened, and in walked Jacob.
Jacob frozen as he saw his girlfriend with another man.
Anger flushes into his head
He walked to them slowly as he said: so now this is what you have been doing?
Serena stood up as she said: Jacob, we are not doing this here! Leave.
Jacob said: oh, so cause of him, I won’t say a word you get back home. I will deal with you.
Jacob always beat Serena up, this isn’t the first time.
Jacob said: come home with me now, or you are good as died.
Serena grabbed her bag as she was about to follow along with him, when Jack grabbed her wrist
The air seems to seize at the moment.
