MATE!

Anna's POV

I took another step on the wooden stairs to go down to the hall. There are muffeled sounds of someone talking coming for the hall. I reached the floor slowly not wanting to make sound that even werewolf ears can hear. I slowly walked into the hall. The floor of tiles is cold against my warm skin. It's my mother and brother that are talking there.

My mother is on the sofa, while my brother is sitting on her left side in another chair. He is the packs warrior. They have tension on their faces. But why? They are talking slowly so that I cannot hear them. What are they talking about.

"Mom", I called out and they both turned back to look at me. The tension and sadness are still on their faces. Why?

"Come Anna, come here", my mother said gustering with her hand and patting it on the place next to her on the sofa. I went and sat beside her.

"Mom? Is everything okay?".

Her face turned pale and she took a gulp. Then looked at my brother and he nodded his head, as if guesturing that she have to tell me something. I looked back and forth between them, giving them a confused and question look

"Mom?".

"Anna, we have to tell you something", my mother said while putting her palm on mine nervously.

"I am listening".

"The Beast is coming", she said and I don't know what to say. But I took a gulp and my breathing stopped.

"No he can't", I whispered.

"Yes, he is coming", my brother confirmed.

"It's okay if he comes. He may be just coming to talk to our Alpha", I said, trying to assure them and myself that nothing is going to happen.

"We all know that he don't do talking when he comes to another pack. He only does war", my brother, Mike said.

"War? But why? We didn't do anything to their pack members. We didn't even go near that pack territory", I said trying to find a reason on why they are coming on war on our pack.

"That Beast on an Alpha thinks himself as a fucking Alexander, claming all the packs around the world", my brother cursed.

Alpha Beast in the most dreaded Alpha in the world. Most people don't know his name and even the people who knows his name don't call him that. Beast suits him perfectly. It's the right name for him. I heard he kills people like they are born for it. Not many people has seen him.

I also heard that he doesn't have a mate, cause the one he had he killed her himself and buried her down. Who does that to their mate. I don't ever even want to meet him. Such a cruel person that he killed the most precious gift that werewolves have, the person that he has to love for the rest of his life and his other half.

"That's why we want you to go to your grand mothers house in the neighbouring pack", my mothers voice brought me back.

"What?! No!", I protested.

"Yes you are".

"But no! I want to stay. I want to fight for my pack. I will fight. Even if I have to give my life for the pack I will. That's what father would like me to do if he was alive. Not runaway!", I said loudly.
