Luke took a deep breath. Sweat dripped down his forehead. It turned out that moving to a new place was really tiring. However, all must be done, if you want to escape from the painful past.

   "Luke!!!" called a girl who was younger than him. A smile tugged on her tiny face.

Immediately the man nodded and took a sip of the sweet iced tea brought by the girl.

   "Luke, I still feel scared. We are hiding in this city, but what if those people find us?" continued the shoulder-length haired girl with her face turning deathly pale.

   "Reina, you don't need to be afraid, This your brother will always protect you. Those people won't be able to get close to us," said Luca while embracing his sister's thin shoulders.

   Girl named Reina just nodded. However, the lines of anxiety had not completely disappeared from her face.

'I'm actually worried about them, Luke. What will you do if they finds us? I dread of that thought.'

   That man is old. Gray hair had graced his once black hair. His body is no longer fit. However, he had to run to save himself. Not far behind him stood a figure wielding a knife. The chaser laughed when he saw him tumbling down.

   "N-no! I-please forgive me!" asked the middle-aged man. However, the black robed figure with the face covering standing before him just laughed.

   "It's too late to ask for forgiveness, because this is karma for your actions!"

   The old man crawled backwards. He still had to save himself. However, that intention disappeared as sharp thrusts stabbed into his body over and over again. Now, he felt weak. The viscous red liquid gushed down the ground around his body. Then, all his vision become darkened and everything disappeared.

    Sabrina was reorganizing the case files on her desk, when Kanaya came to see her. They have their command to go to the murder scene after receiving the report.

    Sabrina and Kanaya are private detectives who work on murder cases. Kanaya is Sabrina's partner and mentor, as she is older and more experienced than Sabrina, who previously handled minor crimes, such as theft or robbery. Because of the young woman's intelligence, she is now trusted to handle murder cases.

    Without wasting any more time, the two women immediately headed to the scene. The investigation can be seen clearly in the area that has been full by the police. Some checked CCTV footage and black box cameras of vehicles parked all day in the area. Forensic officers are also exploring and examining the area. Hoping to find any fingerprints or clues that can help lead to the cold-blooded killer.

Kanaya and Sabrina approached the victim's body which was still lying on the ground where it was found. The figure of a middle-aged man with an eyeball that was damaged by the perpetrator. Maybe with nails or something. Truly vile and sadistic. The people who had gathered to watch the investigation shuddered in horror.

     Sabrina looked at the lifeless figure of the man. For some reason, she felt familiar with that person.

    "Hasn't he come to our office before?" asked Kanaya suddenly.

Sabrina was taken aback. She then looked back at the victim.

    A middle-aged man came to the detective's office. Her appearance looks rich. The clothes worn also look expensive. His gray and white hair was combed neatly to the side. However, all that could not cover the fear on his face.

"Please protect me! Someone wants to kill me!" he said as he met Kanaya and Sabrina.
