Well! The doctors said that I can live longer if I take good care of myself, and to never skip my medication. 

My parents, including my best friend, had cried their eyes out that day, but right now I'm just trying to live my best life, until my end. 

"Whatever!" I utter while rolling my eyes at Ariel. 

"You look stunning by the way." Ariel's compliment made me smile. 

I grabbed my handbag and decided to head towards the door. 

I'm the manager of my father's company, so I have to show a good example by being in the company on time.  

"Are you coming or not?" I yelled, which was after I stepped out of my bedroom. 

"I'm coming girl! And by the way. Happy birthday." Ariel mumbled as she ran out of the room to hug me. 

"It's a shame that even my workers were able to wish me a happy birthday even before you." I bark, pulling her away from me. 

"You are ungrateful." She sneered, as she walked past me.

"Happy birthday sweetheart." Both of my parents said, which was immediately after they saw me. 

"Thanks!" I replied while pulling them close for a hug. 

"Don't forget that we are going to throw a party for you okay." My Dad reminds me, and I nod my head.
