Bound By Pain: The Billionaire's Captive

Bound By Pain: The Billionaire's Captive

I ran through the freezing rain, desperate to escape the Pennington estate. My adoptive family had raised me for one purpose: to be sold off as a bargaining chip in a wealthy arranged marriage. But before I could reach the highway, I was cornered. Not just by my family's cruel guards, but by Hollis Wall—a terrifying, ruthless billionaire who snapped my tormentor's wrist and dragged me into his car. He didn't want a ransom. He threw a prenuptial agreement in my lap. I thought he was insane until he took a scalpel to his own arm, and a burning agony ripped across my flawless skin. Because of a near-drowning accident three years ago, our nervous systems were linked. Every time I bled, he felt the agony. He locked me in his fortress to keep me safe, but when I finally escaped back to my adoptive parents, they didn't protect me. Instead, my adoptive father smiled and showed me a live video of my biological father on life support, a guard's hand hovering over the plug. "You will marry Douglas Cherry tomorrow, or your father dies," he sneered. My own family was willing to murder my only real flesh and blood just to secure their wealth. I collapsed onto the cold marble floor, my heart crushed in a vice of absolute, suffocating despair. "I'll marry him," I sobbed, surrendering to the darkness. But miles away, in his dark study, the ruthless Hollis Wall violently collapsed to the floor, gasping for air as my severe panic attack bled directly into his chest. Our twisted bond was killing him, and I knew he would tear the city apart to find me.

"Sign it." He said, stretching out the file. "I'm not going to sign that paper, Carlton."  I felt vulnerable and scared. I turned to Carlton, and his eyes just cut right through me. Instantly, a huge lump formed in my throat. "I... I... don't..." Carlton's expression suddenly softened. He sat next to me and reached out to cup my chin gently. I felt a shiver run down my spine as his hand brushed against my skin. "I'm not going to hurt you or anything, I just need this. I won't use it against you." He said gently. I hesitated for a moment, staring into his eyes before I took the pen and file from him with trembling fingers. I signed where necessary and gave it back to him. He stood, kissed the top of my head, and head for the door, but stopped in front of my wardrobe, where the lingerie he had ordered to be brought to my room was. His eyes fell back on me, his lips thinning into a line. "That's the only relationship we have now, Good night, Samantha." He said and closed the door. What? The Billionaire's Secret Paper Wife

The Billionaire's Secret Paper Wife

Chantal Lewis's family legacy was twenty-four hours away from a fifty-million-dollar foreclosure. Desperate to save her parents, she sold her soul, offering herself as a paper wife to Dell Valdez, a ruthless Wall Street billionaire needing a quick PR fix. But Dell didn't just buy her; he trapped her in a living nightmare. He forced her into a brutal three-year repayment plan she could never afford, treated her like a disposable prop, and deliberately leaked a scandalous paparazzi photo to destroy her hard-earned professional credibility. Worst of all, the first time his calloused hand touched hers, a violent, terrifying flashback assaulted her brain. The scorching heat of his palms and the distinct, dark scent of his cedarwood cologne perfectly matched the repressed memory of a pitch-black room where she was pinned to a mattress against her will. Chantal didn't understand why her cold-blooded fake husband felt exactly like the monster from her unspoken trauma. She understood even less why, after months of ignoring her, he was suddenly acting violently jealous and possessive when she merely smiled at another man! Why did his scent match her attacker, and what was he truly planning? Furious, she called him to threaten a divorce, only for his voice to drop into a lethal whisper. "Try it. See what happens." Before she could process his deadly threat, her office phone rang. "Ms. Lewis," her receptionist trembled. "Your brother is in the lobby. He owes money to some very bad people, and they are coming here right now."
Love, Lies, and a Platinum Card

Love, Lies, and a Platinum Card

Olivia Clark, an art student, found paint a permanent part of her life, just like her love for Liam Harrison, a charming musician she believed was from modest means. She scrimped and saved every penny from multiple odd jobs, not for herself, but to buy him an expensive artificial cochlear implant for his supposed congenital hearing loss. Their love bloomed in a secret, dusty studio, a world known only to them. But one night, while working a dishwashing shift, Olivia saw Liam flashing a platinum credit card, buying drinks for friends-a bill easily topping six figures. Then, from an adjacent room, she overheard a conversation that shattered her world: Liam was no struggling musician but a billionaire heir, using her as a pawn in a cruel game to make her wealthy friend Chloe jealous. The man she loved, the man for whom she sacrificed everything, was merely playing her. The words, crude and mocking, hit her like a physical blow. They spoke of her as a "cheap piece of trash," a disposable "maid." Liam, silent, let them tear her down. Her hand, cut and bleeding, became a stark reflection of her internal wounds. The truth, once a blinding light, now felt like a draining life force. How could she have been so blind? How could the man who whispered promises of marriage and a good life be so utterly heartless? Had his "love" always been a performance, a twisted game? The realization that he had seen her as nothing more than an insignificant extra, a freebie in his pursuit of Chloe, left her with a chilling emptiness. With a newfound resolve, Olivia pulled out her phone. "I've made up my mind," she told her academic advisor, her voice firm. "I'm going to Europe." She was leaving, not just a place, but a past built on lies, ready to forge a new future, free from his deception.

Every Wild Needs Innocent

Every Wild Needs Innocent

Noise and smoke greeted me when the bus door opened. That's it, I'm really here in Manila. I stepped off the bus. The heat of the sun immediately hit my fair skin. For sure, when I seek refuge in the wilderness, I will blush. Before crossing to the other side, I made sure no cars were passing by until I finally made it across. I was right. My skin immediately turned red because of the intense sunlight. "Sister, where is the jeep?" I asked the woman selling coolers. She turned her eyes to me when I spoke to her. "You see that mall?" she pointed. I followed her gaze. I nodded slowly. "Yes," I said politely. "Behind that mall, there are jeep parking lots." "Ahh, is that it? Thank you." I bought a cooler from her first, then set off. I was drinking the cooler I bought earlier while walking to the jeep parking lot. I just realized how big Manila is. If you're from the provinces, you'll have a hard time finding parking in Manila. I reached the jeep parking lot. I stood aside first and did not get in. I took my wallet out of my pocket to check if I still had enough fare for the boarding house. I only had five hundred pesos left in my wallet. It was only one hundred when I took it out. A strong wind blew. "Come on!" Unfortunately, a strong wind blew my money away. In a panic, I quickly tried to pick it up. "My bad luck!" I said to myself. I managed to pick up four hundred pesos, but one was missing. I looked for the missing bill. I noticed that the wind kept blowing it towards the middle of the road. Desperate to retrieve the flying money, I suddenly crossed the road without noticing the many passing cars. "What! Are you trying to kill yourself?!" The jeep driver yelled at me because he almost hit me. "I'm sorry..." I apologized. He shook his head before driving off. I turned my eyes back to the bill. I was very grateful it was now on the ground. I immediately stepped on it. But unexpectedly, a car suddenly appeared. Using my hands, I tried to shield myself, closed my eyes, and waited for the impact. Beep!! I thought my life was over. I slowly opened my eyes and immediately noticed the bulky figure in front of me. "Are you okay?" It was a man's baritone voice. When I opened my eyes completely, my mouth fell open. A well-built man stood before me. I couldn't help but be amazed at what I saw. He looked like a sculpture, very neat and perfectly carved. For some unknown reason, my heart started pounding. "Hey, are you okay?" I snapped out of my trance when he spoke again, still blinking. "A-Ah, y-yes. I-I'm fine..." I stammered. Electricity ran through my whole body when he held my hand to help me stand up. "Do you feel any pain in your body?" he asked again. I shook my head. "No. I'm really fine," I assured him so he wouldn't worry. "Bro, let's go!" I looked at the car of the man who almost hit me. I noticed another man in the car, wearing shades and looking obviously irritated. I turned my gaze back to the man in front of me. "This is my friend's calling card." He handed it to me. I accepted it immediately. "Just call him if you feel any pain in your body." I nodded slowly. "Thank you." "I gotta go!" he said goodbye. I bowed slightly and smiled as a farewell. I moved aside because I noticed I was still blocking the road. I watched them until they disappeared from sight. Later, I looked at the calling card he gave me and read the name written on it. "Knoxx Cassius Wolverson."
