"Hail the king"

The guards and court maidens of the imperial court all chorused and went in a deep now. The king walked past the line silently as they still remained in their bowing position till he entered into his palace.

In a kingdom which is just a little fragment of the continent. Kingdom Gogureo, is currently ruled by the seventh emperor of the Li's blood line. This blood line has ruled from generation to generation in the past 300 years aback.

Ever since the seventh emperor has become emperor. He ruled with so much fierceness at first but it later evolved into becoming brutality and less care for the people of the nations. Corrupt elders joined with his unfairness and brutality leading to the total disruption of nations' rules and laws.

"I am already getting old, I need someone to take over my kingship. The king said bitterly. You can adopt male child from orphanage home. The highest rank in security replied. My ancestors haven't done that dirty thing before and I can't do it during my time. I need someone from my blood. The king uttered. My Lord, since your wives were giving birth to female children maybe you should marry someone from the minor family. I meant the low rank woman. You can't focus on rich women always. Suddenly, one of the maidens ran inside the palace and knelt down and bowed down at him, she raised her head and said "my lady has given birth to a ........... She wasn't able to complete her statement when a tear rolled down round her cheek and fell on the floor.

The king was eager to hear her statement but nothing her action makes him to know that it was a bad news. It is either she gave birth to a princess or she gave birth to a prince but unfortunately he was dead. These thoughts started to sink on his head untill he became confused and sad.

"Are you deaf or dumb to talk?" The king scolded in an anguish tone. All of the king's guards genuflected and bowed down while stabbing their swords on the ground.

If you don't talk, I will kill you with my bare hand. The king added intensity. My Lord, spare my life. My queen gave birth to a female gender. She replied out of fear.

We can't have huge amount of princesses just because of my barren wives. You should kill all the princesses and buried them with the common dead people. The king commanded.

You can't do that to the royal family. They are respected and recognized by the villagers. He exclaimed in shock. We can collect their titles and they should be the concubines. They can bring wealth and fame into the kingdom through their marriage to the princes in another kingdoms. He suggested.

Note: The highest rank in security was the second in command to security and special adviser to the king. The king gave him authority over the security men.

I don't have anything to do with them, if they marry princes, their husbands will make use of the opportunity to threaten me in order to surrender the kingdom. I can't allow such a thing to happen under my watch. The king uttered angrily.

We can use them as the maidens of the kingdom, our maidens will increase in size and numbers. Other kingdoms have many maidens but we have few compare to what other kingdoms have. He suggested.

If I use them as the maidens of this kingdom, the villagers and other kings would blamed me for my wrong doings and the gods of our land would be angry at me. The king uttered in an angry mood.

This is your kingdom and you are the king of this kingdom, you can control anything or anyone with your single word and nobody will complain about it. Why are you afraid of another king or villagers? When you don't know their rulings to their kingdom. He uttered with a great surprise.

Who gave you authority to change my order? Why are you disobeying my command? Did you deserve death or punishment? The king replied in an anguish and anger mood showing on his face.

The king's guards drew swords out of their sheaths and shooked it on the ground still on their present position, they raised their heads up facing him.

Note: This simplifies the disrespectful or authority of the king. With their position, the king can make any order and nobody can change it even the gods. The highest rank in security name is Baek Dong Min.

You can't disrespect the king even though you are the second in command to security and special adviser to the king. You are employed to convince him not against his command. The third in command to security shouted.

Okay, I could trust you. The king replied with a nervous tone. The king's guards stood up from their position and put it into their sheaths.

Baek and his assistant with few guards bounded with a old fashioned swords and Spears bowed down and left the palace.

Inform the state troops' commander about the assassination of the princesses and their arrival to the middle part of the village.

Note: Middle part of the village is a place for accused or non accused people. This is where human lives are taken away from them. This place is called SAKURI ( The skull place) by the first king of Gogureo and the word didn't have any Korean meaning. The villagers began to wonder the main reason he named that place but their guess were wrong always. This was founded to curb the evil thing in the village and to correct their mistakes.

In the case of the princesses, it would make them to be aware that the new queen or this kingdom must give birth to a prince.

Meanwhile;

One of the maidens was busy hearing their conversation through her ears. Her ear was full of words and secrets and she became afraid when she heard the assassination of the princesses. She secretly tip toes out of the scene and went to inform her lady about the occurrence.

We can't disrespect the royal family because of the birth of a son, we can't engage in public execution by beheading the princesses. One of the royal guards suggested.

I can't convince the king even though I utter any word or advice, the king will be annoyed and behead me too. I don't want such thing to happen to me. Baek spoke to him with a pity face.

We can send some assasins to kill the princesses and inform the king about the occurrence. The king won't take action because he wished the princesses to be killed by a group of people.
