Parents could sometimes have favorites among their children, Dessy knew that fact very well but she never saw herself as the child who will be ditched when the time came. She was going to tolerate being ditched by her parents if that ever happened but not her lover, never!! . I will never let you go began with Dessy and Mike having been high school sweethearts, in fact, childhood lovers. They were meant to have gotten married all these years if not that Dessy had moved abroad to further her education while Mike got busy with work.

Little did she know that Mike and her elder sister Mary were getting along so well. That won’t have been much of a problem for Dessy after all that is her sister, but she realizes her parents want the union of Mike and Mary to happen just to make up for her Elder sister who had been away from home for years , feel loved and welcomed back home. Being the laughing stock is all Dessy could think about herself. Just to try to get over the absurdity and ridicule of the moment she steps out of the house after wiping her tears. One thing kept resounding in her head, Mary is getting married to Mike . She would resort to drinking. At the bar, Dessy called on her best friend, Sarah to join her unwind over the calamity that has befallen her. After briefing Sarah about all that has just happened she took a glass of wine perhaps that will help her mood. Sarah tried to caution Dessy but she never found the right words to use. Nothing worked at the moment, not until the image of a familiar man showed up at the bar. Dessy couldn’t believe who her eyes had just met. Sarah had just helped her understand that the handsome man they were staring at is Mike’s Uncle. To Dessy, this seemed like the only solution and payback for that matter. Her burning desire will be to get married to Mike’s Uncle and become his aunt, case closed. How will Dessy feel she guess to know the man she got marry to is not mike’s uncle ? A resounding slap landed on Dessy William s’ face.

“You’ve really let me down.

Your sister has had a rough time out there for more than 20 years, and here you are planning to snatch the man from her. That’s very shameless of you!” Covering the part of her face that was aching, Dessy looked at her mother incredulously. “Mom, Mike is my boyfriend. How can you guys be so unreasonable?” Dessy had just come home after a business trip, only to see her long-lost elder sister, Mary william , sitting with her boyfriend, Mike clement , on the couch. Her sister, who returned not long ago, was holding Mike’s arm and seemed intimate with him. Seated on the other side of the couch were both Mary and mike’s parents who were having a pleasant chat with each other. In fact, Mike was Desse’s childhood sweetheart! She could not help but come up to Mary to question her. However, she ended up being slapped by her mother in the face right there and then! “Mom, please stop hitting Desse .” With an anxious look, Mary said, “It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have come back…” Mike quickly held her shoulders. “No, Mary. It’s my fault. I’ve always treated Dessy as my sister, which is probably why she misunderstood my feelings for her.” Something seemed to have exploded in Desse’s head. The pain was so terrible that she could barely breathe.

Is this how you’re supposed to speak to your sister?” Mrs. William told her off sulkily. “Can’t you just be tolerant of Mary, considering that she has gone through 20 years of hardships?” Shocked, Dessy was slightly slack-jawed. There had to be some limit on tolerance anyway. Why should she give up her love? She was not a saint either. At that point, Mr. William stood up and told her off glumly as well. “Are you done? Mike isn’t into you either. We still need to discuss Mary ’s engagement party now. Get lost. You’re such an eyesore here.” Desse trembled and glanced at Mike who was indifferent toward her. She then glanced at Mary who was clinging to him. All of a sudden, she felt like an object of ridicule. These people were the ones she cared most about, yet every one of them was taking Mary ’s side at that moment. Tears were seen streaming down her face. After wiping away the tears, Dessy turned around and left with her suitcase without looking back. She sped through the journey once she got into the Maserati. Not knowing where to go, she stopped and called her best friend, Sarah Johnson . “Come and have a drink or two.” Her voice sounded hoarse amid her sobs. Sarah immediately agreed. “Sure. I’ll be there in a moment.” … By the time Sarah rushed over to there , Dessy had already finished one whole bottle of red wine by herself. “You came at the right time. Let’s have a drink together. I’ve ordered a lot. You’re not allowed to go home until you finish the drinks.” Dessy tossed Sarah a bottle of beer. “What’s wrong?” It was very rare for Sarah to find behaving in such a manner. She sympathized deeply with Dessy. “Where’s Mike ? Is he ignoring you?” At the mention of Mike’s name, Dessy felt as if a knife was scraping her heart. “He’s ditched me, and he’s going to get engaged to Mary .” Sarah gaped. “What kind of a campy plot is this?” Desse briefly told her what happened that evening. Sarah felt a sense of incredulity. Mike and Dessy were childhood sweethearts who had established a romantic relationship since high school. Throughout these years, however, Desse studied abroad while Mike was busy with work. It explained why they had yet to get engaged. Both their parents were under no illusions about it. They also gave their blessings to the couple. Everyone in the entertainment industry knew that the couple would get married sooner or later. I hate him…” Toward the end of her sentence, Desse began to choke. Holding the bottle, she took a few gulps of wine and tasted her tears in her mouth as well. At that moment, she started feeling a little dizzy. “Don’t drink too much. You have a poor stomach. You’ll feel uncomfortable if you drink too much.” Sarah grabbed Desse bottle to divert her attention from it. After that, she glanced around the pub. The man had his eyes closed and was leaning against the couch, giving off an aura of brilliance. When the rotating spotlight shone on him from time to time, he looked so attractive that his face was just like the perfect side profile one often saw in comic books. After a glimpse, Dessy averted her eyes from him. “No matter how attractive he is, I’m in no mood to enjoy anything that’s pleasant to the eye right now.” “I’m trying to tell you that the man is Mike’s uncle.” Desse was momentarily stunned. “Are you sure?” Mike previously mentioned that he had a mysterious uncle. However, his uncle managed a company in a foreign country, so she had never seen him. A few days ago, she heard that his uncle had returned. “Yeah, I’m very sure. My brother told me when we attended a cocktail party the other day. I heard he’s not very old and he’s clever with tricks. Even Desmond is at his mercy.” Desmond Clement was mike’s father. Desse’s eyes glowed. She had an idea crossing her mind at that instant. “Well… What do you think will happen if I marry his uncle?” “Pff…” Shocked, Sarah spat out the wine from her mouth. “Say that again.” Dessy gazed intently at the tall, handsome figure. “Since I can’t become the Lowe family’s daughter-in-law, I shall be Mike ’s aunt to fill the shameless couple with disgust!
