Tyrel Qin served Pei Qin a meal and said.

"This might be the last celebration you are going to share with us, and maybe the last meal we are going to share as a family" even though he has never loved her and was never satisfied with her but they were a family after all.

Mercy stood rooted on the ground. she felt humiliated.

'What is she pretending for? just going back to the village and Biron is mine' Mercy thought.

"Pei, Biron is good to me and treats me good, if mom and dad hadn't found me and brought me back, Biron could have been your fiance I hope you won't blame me for that?"

Rossy happened to come on the living room and show the scene, she felt that her daughter was wronged, she become furious.

"That's not okay at all, that necklace was a gift from us to you, how can you just give it away just like that?" Rossy was not pleased.

"Good for you. Pei! since when did you become a thief?" Rossy asked. " This is all my fault for not watching you." she added.

"Mom, don't say that to Pei" Mercy picked the ruby necklace from the floor and kindly handed it to pei. " Sister, don't take moms words seriously. I know you took the necklace to make better plans for your future, right? I also heard that your family is poor and from countryside, you can take and sell it." she said with a sad voice.

Several maids around opened their mouths.

Mom, dad, why can't we give her some money?" she said with a red eyes like she has been wronged.
