There he was, walking across the field. His eyes the brightest of blue as he looks up and you feel the pull as your eyes meet. Dylan Gunn! The flutter of butterflies in your stomach, the beating of the your heart is like thunder, your cheeks flush as you blush and can't help but smile. You shouldn't feel this way about someone you have never spoken to, that you are not suppose to speak to, someone so opposite to you it shouldn't almost be forbidden.
Your eyes open suddenly. The bleeping of your alarm has woken you. As you lay in bed thinking about the day ahead you sigh 'Another day to please everyone'.
As you get up and into the shower, you flashback to your dreams. His bright blue piercing eyes and perfectly plump lips, you can't help but blush.
Running your hands through your wet hair wishing they weren't yours but his.
After daydreaming and wishing, you realise your water has gone cold. You step out the shower and dress quickly before running downstairs to the kitchen.
You grab the kettle and fill it and make a coffee, down comes your mum grabbing the coffee out of your hands.
'Thanks for that, I'm running late for court' she says doing a quick spin and gulping the rest of the coffee down before grabbing her bag and running out the door.
Your mum, Rainie, a beautiful lady with soft eyes and her hair perfect, never falling out of place. She is a social worker, keeping long hours due to court and home visits for her cases. Despite the long hours she never looks tired or run down.
She has the same expectations of you. Work hard and keep yourself well looked after. Never let anyone think you are beneath them and the most important rule: DO NOT ever fall for a "bad boy"
You are studying law at university, still living at home instead of in the student accommodation because your mum doesn't like the idea of you getting caught up in the parties. You have a weekend job at a restaurant whilst studying so that you have some money for things you need to be a little more independent. Your boss thinks highly of you as you work hard. You don't have many friends but the ones you do are similar to you, studying and working hard just making their way through uni. Others would describe you as nerdy or in school "the teachers pet" and just there to "please everyone".
The ideals your mum has for you are to keep up with your degree in law, find nice man that will treat you right and has a good and proper career, buy a nice house with a garden, get married and have babies and buy a dog.... Everyone's ideal world.... But not yours.
You feel differently, you know that you shouldn't want him, but you can't help yourself. Ever since that first day you locked eyes he is all your have thought about.
