Molly, a diligent woman who emulated her boss good ethics dreamed of being like her billionaire Boss. She wanted her favor and trust during her years of working for her boss. However, envied by her colleagues they plot against her and a single lie jeopardizes all her struggles and ruins her life.

Chapter 1 A maid's dream

In a lavishly decorated room, a young woman named Molly Torner watched her boss with great admiration in her eyes. Although she had seen her boss prepare for work before, she still felt privileged every time she was asked to help out.

Everything about the beautiful young woman enticed her. A competent woman with so many achievements attached to her name.

Molly wished to be like her, smart, independent, and bold. But nothing came easily without a fall. Miss Tamara Greene could tell that story perfectly.

And that was what made her different from others who grew up with wealth.

Once she was done putting on her earrings, Molly stepped forward and helped her with her coat and purse.

She was the most trusted servant close to Miss Greene. Not only was she good at heart, she was a hard worker who emulated her boss, which made Miss Greene appoint her as the head maid of her house.

It was a rare sight to see her trust someone, especially when she had doubts about people around her. But Molly kept proving to her that she was trustworthy.

"Molly, you said you would be visiting your sick mother at the hospital today. Is there something you would like to get for her?" Miss Greene asked, her voice polished like that of a British person.

Miss Greene is a descendant of both British and American people. However, she chose to come down to the States for the best-known reasons.

Her blue eyes looked at Molly, who was a bit tan and a brunette.

"Yes, Miss Greene. I would love to buy her some flowers and fruit. But..." Molly said but paused when Miss Greene raised her palm to her face.

It was a gesture she used to stop people from talking.

"I will not cut it out of your salary. Your mother needs the best. I am sure she is proud to have a daughter like you," Miss Greene said as she handed Molly a black card.

"Use it and buy whatever it is that you like and also treat your mother to something nice. I will not come back early today, so have dinner and retire on time," she tapped Molly's shoulders dearly before leaving for work.

Molly couldn't contain her joy and decided to tell everyone the good news.

"Good morning, everyone. Today's work will end by three pm. Please do make sure that you finish on time. I will be leaving for the hospital once you are all done," she announced to them, and they happily went back to their duties.

Molly went on to supervise them and made sure that everything was in check before she left for the hospital.

Taking the car Miss Greene had arranged for her, she gave the driver the address to the hospital and hoped that something good would come out of her visit.

She reached the hospital just in time for visitors to meet their families admitted into their wards.

"Good morning, Doctor," Molly greeted. He and his team were on a routine check for their patients and Molly's mother had already been checked.

"Good morning, Miss Torner. I would like to talk to you about the patient's health chart. Please, can I meet you now?" The Doctor asked and she followed him immediately.

They got to his office, a medical space filled with books, an artificial skeleton, and some health wall charts. His desk was neatly arranged with his name nicely displayed on the name tag- Dr. Fabian, it read.

"Please have a seat," he offered, then went over to hang his costume on a standing hanger that was a bit close to his desk.

"About your mother..."

Molly left his office dazed after he told her about her mother's condition. She went back to her mother's ward, which was paid for by Miss Greene.

She owed Miss Greene a lot and hoped to repay her grandly someday.

"Mom, Miss Greene bought you some flowers. She is so good to me all the time. If things go well, I'll stay and train her children in the future. That way, I can repay for all the good things she has done for us. But, you have to wake up to see the nice young Miss I am talking about," Molly broke down in tears, as her wish was impossible at the moment.

Her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and it was in its final stage. The possibility of conducting an operation was fifty-fifty.

If only she had known earlier, then she would have worked up some money and sent her to the hospital on time. But her mother was too reticent and she was the kind to keep her problems to herself.

Her mother was a selfless person who cared about her daughter to the extent of ignoring her health.

However, Molly wasn't going to give up easily. She was going to hold on to her mother until the day of surgery. After the visiting hour was over, Molly reached a shopping mall to get some groceries.

Since her boss would be returning late, she thought of buying some fruit for her and pastries. Then she bought some of the items that were finished and returned to the house.

The grand house of Miss Greene is classic and beautiful. The pathway was aligned with trees and small gravel that made chipping sounds when walking.

A cupid holding a heart arrow fountain was at the center of the front yard, the pavement surrounding it was decorated with white lilies that gave it a magical touch.

Molly loved the sight of it, especially in the evening, and always made sure that it was properly cleaned. Inside the house, the ceiling was high and decorated with mosaic glass. A golden chandelier hung from it and illuminated the lobby with its golden lights.

She felt so relieved knowing that one day she would achieve all of these.

"I heard that the boss is leaving for a business trip this Saturday. It would be a great opportunity for us to do what we want," Molly heard some of her colleagues discussing as she approached the kitchen.

"What opportunity?" She asked, and they all jolted in fear of seeing her.

"Nothing," one of them said, and they left without saying a word. Molly grew suspicious of them and decided to be watchful of them.
