The Alpha's Heir

Elaina's face turned pale as she watched the bustling wedding ceremony not far from where she was.

On the stage, the bride-to-be's wedding dress radiated with an innocent and pure glow. The wedding dress worn by the bride seemed to be born with an aristocratic aura, faint arrogance, and sacred air.

The pearl light set off the face of the bride-to-be, Jenna, and became fairer as she moved and walked with the gentleman beside her.

"Layton Hayes, do you engage with the beautiful lady in front of you? Live with her according to the Scripture, and be integrated with her in front of Moon Goddess. Will you love, comfort, respect, and protect her, just like you love yourself? Whether she is sick or healthy, rich or poor, you will always be loyal to her until you leave the world?"

Elaina felt a tension deep down herself as she stared at Alpha Layton who was on the stage. Six months ago, that man was her mate.

And that engagement ceremony was originally held for Alpha Layton and her!

But after a wolf attack, Alpha Layton lost his memory. She clearly remembered that after seeing Alpha Layton again, he looked at her in disgust and said, "Elaina, you make me feel sick."

They used to love each other so much. So, why did he suddenly hate her as if she was his enemy? Elaina couldn't understand.

Later, Jenna cried and told her that she and Alpha Layton had slept with each other, and hoped that Elaina could stop bothering them.

Back then, she and Jenna were born on the same day. The doctor made a mistake and the two families held the wrong child. She grew up in the Gilbert family of the Nova Pack. It was not until she was 16 that they found out her blood type was different from Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert's. Therefore, they found Alpha Baine, the Deepvale Pack next door, and exchanged the two children again.

However, less than two months after Elaina returned to her pack, her biological parents disappeared mysteriously. Mr. Gilbert and Mrs. Gilbert was afraid that others around them would say that they were too heartless, so they took her up again. However, their attitude towards her became totally different.

Although Elaina knew that Jenna was Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert's biological daughter, when she heard her adopted parents, whom she had called her own for sixteen years, ask her to give her mate, Alpha Layton to Jenna, she couldn't help but feel sad.

She also cried and asked them, "I used to be your daughter. You know how much Alpha Layton and I have experienced together. Why do you have to separate us?"

But in return, she only got a cold and ruthless slap.

She went for Alpha Layton, but he just looked at her in disgust and said, "Elaina, if it weren't for the fact that you and Jenna are sisters, I wouldn't have said one more word to you. I didn't expect you to be so vicious that you even tried to grab your sister's boyfriend. It's disgusting. You should leave now. I don't want to see you anymore!"

She didn't expect that he would forget everything about them when he lost his memory!

Elaina's heart ached when she recalled what had happened in the past.

Not far from her, Jenna, who was standing on the stage, saw Elaina who was about to make a move in the crowd, and immediately winked at her parents.

It was when Elaina was about to take a step forward that Mr. and Mr.'s Gilbert appeared in front of her, blocking her way.

"Elaina, what are you going to do? This is Jenna's engagement ceremony. Don't disturb them."

Seeing that Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert looked flustered, Elaina sneered and curled her lips.

The crowd was noisy. Looking at Alpha Layton, Elaina smiled. She took out the cola ring from her bag and said to Alpha Layton, "This is what you gave me back then. Now, I am giving it back to you. Alpha Layton, from now on, we will never meet again. We will have our own life, having nothing to do with each other!"

The crisp sound of the clasp was particularly clear in the hall. Looking at the clasp, Alpha Layton felt that something was about to come out of his mind, causing his head to ache.

At that moment, he suddenly felt something pulling his sleeve. He looked down and found Jenna's beautiful face and she was about to cry. "Layton, I am having a stomachache. I don't know if I'm pregnant. Let's go back to our room to have a rest after making the vows, okay?"

Yes, his lover was Jenna. Elaina merely wanted to ruin his relationship with Jenna again.

In an instant, Alpha Layton's confused eyes became determined again.

Jenna hurriedly smiled and said, "Elaina is really good at acting. She must be too tired to think clearly. Dad, Mom, please take Elaina to rest as soon as possible."

There was a happy smile plastered on Jenna's face, but only Elaina knew that Jenna was actually full of bad thoughts deep down.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert dragged her out of the hall and took her to an empty room. The two pointed at her head and cursed without care for her feelings, "Today is Jenna's wedding. How dare you want to destroy it? Why are you so vicious?"

Elaina didn't care who the two were anymore!

"You will stay here until the wedding is over!"

Elaina didn't expect that the couple she once called her parents would lock her inside. Well, she didn't want to go out anyway so it wasn't much of a hassle.

That night, the villa was brightly lit and filled up with people.

Holding Alpha Layton's arm with pride, Jenna thanked the wishes of the guests with a smile. When she turned around, she saw the dark attic upstairs. A mysterious smile appeared on her face.

She wondered whether her "good friend" would be satisfied with the big gift she prepared. She was looking forward to her reaction!

In the room, Elaina was bored. She looked around and found everything was prepared in the room. She simply took a shower and then covered her head with a quilt. She made up her mind that after the engagement ceremony, she would apply for a student loan from the university she had just enrolled in and never have anything to do with the Nova Pack!

No one noticed that the door of Elaina's room had been opened quietly.
