Freddie woke up because of the noise he was hearing. "Another day, another trouble with my daughter," he muttered. And got down from the bed.
He walked downstairs to see all the seating scattered. "What is going on here, Nicole?" Freddie asked.
"Send her out of this house right now!" Nicole shouted, pointing at her Nanny.
"Why?" Freddie asked.
"I said I don't want her again, send her out!" she said and poured the food that her Nanny was holding to the ground, making the dining more messy.
"Nicole!" Freddie shouted, trying to control his anger. "You are crossing the line."
"What else do you want me to do for you? Freddie asked
"Good question! Get me my mother and stop bringing bitches to our house. I'm fucking tired of them. I want my mother," Nicole said and ran upstairs.
Freddie roughed his hair in frustration and headed to his room. He entered his bathroom and took a bath. After he was done, he walked downstairs and saw Nicole already dressed for school.
"I'm not taking you. Go and meet your driver to take you to school this morning," Freddie said, walking out.
Nicole ran past him and entered the car he was taking to the office. "Get down right now, Nicole. I don't have time for your nonsense this morning," Freddie said.
"I'm not doing nonsense. It's your responsibility to take me to school since you can't get me my mother," Nicole said.
Freddie was shocked by her words ,he decided to ignore it and entered the car and drove out, heading towards her school. When he got there, he didn't drive into the school park.
"Get down!" Freddie said with a frown face.
"Is this where you will drop me?" Nicole asked.
"Get down, Nic, or I'll drive you back home," Freddie said.
Nicole got down with her lunch box. "Don't expect me. I'm not coming to pick you up," Freddie said and zoomed out.
"You will, Dad," Nicole said with a smirk and continued walking inside the school. She hissed at the students staring at her. "Mind your business, or you want your head gone," she said and walked away.
ā Madelyn ā
I have been searching for a job since morning. What kind of fate is mine?" She muttered. "You... some guys said, pointing at Madelyn. Am doomed," Madelyn said, and she tried to run away, but they blocked her.
"You think you can escape from us without paying for what you destroyed, right?" One of the guys said.
"You escaped that day, but not today. Give us the money for the damages," their boss said.
"What have I done?" Madelyn thought. "Never thought I would see them again after that day. How do I deal with them?" Madelyn thought.
She sighted Freddie making a call, and she smirked when an idea popped into her head. "Uncle!" she shouted, waving at Freddie.
Freddie turned back, not knowing who she was referring to. She tried to walk away, but they blocked her.
"Calm down! I'm not running away. You can follow me if you want. That is my uncle there. He is very rich. I'm sure he will pay you guys," Madelyn said.
They looked at each other before they decided to follow her. When Madelyn got to Freddie, she hugged him and whispered into his ear. "Better cooperate, or else they will kill us here."
After she was done, she turned to them. "This is my uncle. You can tell him the damages I caused," she said.
Freddie looked at her and smirked. "You really have some guts, don't you?" Freddie thought. "I will make sure I teach you some lessons," he thought and faced the guys.
"You see, I was also looking for her. She is not anywhere related to me. She also did the same to me. You can take her away," Freddie said to those guys.
Madelyn gave him a look that meant "you will regret doing this to me." "You think you can fool us, right?" one of the guys said and started to move closer to her.
Madelyn moved closer to Freddie, holding his shirt while Freddie leaned on his car, enjoying everything. Madelyn started to fake tears, making the guys stop moving to her.
She stood in front of Freddie, faking tears. "I know I'm wrong, but why must you abandon me and punish me this way? You make me suffer. Everyone makes mistakes. Just because I made a little mistake doesn't mean I don't love you," Madelyn said.
"What did you mean?" Freddie asked, not understanding a thing from what she was saying.
"I'm sorry, guys, for lying to you that he was my uncle. Actually, he is my boyfriend. We had a little misunderstanding, and he was angry at me," Madelyn said, shocking the hell out of Freddie.
"Should I show you that he belongs to me?" Madelyn said with a smirk and turned to Freddie.
"Just give us our money if you want to prove it to us," they said.
"Okay!" Madelyn said and put her hand inside his pocket and brought out some money. He gave it to them. Freddie did not talk nor did he stop her.
Next time, you try that with us, you are going to die," one of them said.
"Let's get going, guys," their boss said, making them leave.
Madelyn also tried to leave, but Freddie pulled her back by her clothes. "Where did you think you were going?" Freddie asked with his usual cold face.
"Leave my clothes. You are choking me," Madelyn said.
"Pay for the money you stole from me," Freddie said.
"Stole?" Did you just say I stole money from you?" Madelyn said.
"Don't you? Just because I allowed you to take it doesn't mean I gave it to you. I only helped you so that they won't kill you here," Freddie said.
"How do I pay you once I'm dead?" Madelyn asked.
"Even if you die, I'm going to sell your body in return for my money," Freddie said.
"I'm dead," Madelyn said, pretending to be dead by bringing out her tongue.
"Why don't you let me help you by making it real?" Freddie said.
"What?" Madelyn said and opened her eyes.
"Okay! What did you want me to do? I have to be somewhere right now, and you are here doing this. Don't you have anywhere to go?" Madelyn said.
"Why are they chasing you?" Freddie asked.
"What is your own problem with that?" Madelyn said.
"Did you steal from them?" Freddie asked.
Madelyn took away his hand forcefully and turned to him. "Never call me a thief again, or else you will regret it," she said and broke the side mirror of his car.
"Are you mad?" Freddie shouted in anger.
"Yeah! I am," Madelyn said and walked away.
"I will make your life miserable," Freddie said and put a call to one of his men to bring him another car.
