Chapter 1 THE NIGHT OF SORROW
In the shadows, a centuries old conflict raged between the vampire clans. The fragile peace had been shattered and the war between the rival faction The Tenebrous and The Darkmire had begun.
Amidst the chaos, a strong vampire named Lucian fought alongside with the royal guards alongside his wife Princess Gabriella. The war raged across the land from the dark alleys of Ravenhurst to the ruined Eastern cryptwood.
Lucian and Gabriella fought side by side, their skills honed from centuries combat. Their sword moved swiftly making them formidable to their enemy causing the Darkmire warriors to retract giving the Tenebrous Warriors victory.
During the night, The Tenebrous Warriors held a big festival celebrating their victory, the sound of glasses clinking, victorious laughter and music filled the hall.
Lucian gazed at his wife with deep affection as she danced to the music with her friends, her green sparkling eyes shone with Joy and Life, her long permed blonde hair were cascading down her back. She gazed at her husband but her smile didn't last long before an arrow suddenly pierced her throat.
Lucian world shattered as the rushed to Gabriella's side, cradling her limp body in his arm, " No, no, no.... This can't be!" He whispered, his voice trembling with anguish.
The music and laughter ceased, replaced by stunned silence.The Tenebrous Warriors gathered around with shock which etched on their face.
A faint whisper escaped from Gabriella's lips : " Forgive... Me... Lucian... I ... Love " Her eyes locked onto his them faded into the external darkness.
Lucian grief exploded into a raging vortex, his fangs bared and his claws extended
" Find the assassin !!!" He bellowed, his voice was dripping with venom " Bring them alive!"
The Tenebrous warriors scrambled to obey , Lucian thought burned with a singular focus: Vengeance
Meanwhile, in the shadows, a figure watching the unfolding carnage with interest. A hooded figure clad in dark leather, slipped away unnoticed .
" The game has begun" The figure whispered, a sly smile spreading across his face.
Little Sabrina snuggled deeper into her childhood bed, entranced by her mom soothing voice.
" And then, Lucian, vowed to avenge his beloved Gabriella's death" her mother read from the worn, leather bound book.
Little Sabrina eyes sparkled with wonder " Mom, do you think Vampire really exist?"
Her mother smiled " About that sweetie, I can't tell but you shouldn't worry about it, okay?" Lucy replied " Okay" Sabrina replied with a nod and smile on her lips.
" Good girl " Lucy commented caressing her hair and pecked her forehead " Goodnight, sweetheart " she said" Goodnight, mom " Sabrina replied and cuddled her teddy bear before closing her eyes.
Lucy tucked her sheet and turned off the lights before leaving the room.
Sabrina's window flew opened with a sudden gust of wind and dead leaves which followed Sabrina quickly opened her eyes and sat up straight, her heart throbbed in fear
" Who's there?" She asked in a quivering voice, her palm were sweating just like Cold sweat which formed on her forehead.
A bright white light shone into her room, she quickly covered her eyes with her hand but peeped through her fingers. A woman walked into her room,her face beam with white light just like her dress, she was bare footed " Fear not, Daughter of Athena " She said, her voice were filled with Warmth, Tenderness and royalty aura.
" Daughter of Athena?" She asked looking dazed " Yes, you're the offspring of Athena the third and the .......
