Chapter 1 The taste of Love
"Becky woke up from sleep, her head pounding from a lot of stress from the day's stress". "The breeze came in and out of the room as the opened window
Are you ready, babe? "Dickson said, the man who claimed to be her boyfriend, they'd been dating for two years, their best part so far.
She rose from her bed, lifting the pillow over to the corner of the bed; a loud sigh escaped her lips as she regained her strength back.
I'm just tired from yesterday's work. I've been trying to find a better place to learn my fashion styling, but it seems hard". Becky said
"Dickson gets closer with his broad body frame, lifting her face up and placing a lovely kiss on her cheek". This could make her day; Dickson had been an orphan right from birth but was raised by her Adopted mum who didn't have enough to provide for him."
"Becky swayed her hips up as she headed to the bathroom, Dickson felt relieved he'd be able to meet his friends after a long time. It was the holiday period and all his friends had traveled to enjoy while he tried to gather enough money from his graphic design job at a local printing shop, a few meters from his apartment.
Everyone envied their relationship because, even without money, their love growed together".
Becky was so glad to meet Dickson's friends, imagined what they looked like as she scrubbed her bag with aloevera shampoo, singing and swaying to the tune of her song".
"Hurry up" Dickson said.
"Alright I will", she said, as she rushed closer to the shower, letting the water run over her back, making a soft, satisfying sound.
Rushed out of the bathroom, as she grabbed her towel while she stared at Dickson spraying his cheap perfume.
"This reminded her, the time she met him. During her graduation, she didn't have many l friends, so she wanted to hurry home." Her parents didn't care about her whereabouts due to her refusal to marry the man they had chosen for her to marry.
This only makes Becky get in contact with her kid sis, Veronica, the only one who tells her the truth and advises her the most.
"A hungry fly perched at her nose, as it interrupts her from her thoughts, she waves her hands as it lands on her cheek. Making her release a pain sound".
"Let's go" Becky said as she slung her bag over her shoulder, as she moved for exit.
"Dickson had just ordered a cap while enjoying the beautiful view at his room side". "He lived on the third floor", he knew living in the last floor was going to be suicide.
The nightclub loomed in front of them as they flaunt their hands together, while entering the building, the songs could throw ghosts to the area, a lot people enjoying themselves, forgetting their pasts.
"This is what you mean enjoyment right" Becky said.
"Oh yeah!" Mr Dickson said, as he was a British citizen, he didn't care of the way he spoke as the accent was quite different from the people around here in California. This made his attention more known.
Becky knew, just a whining of her hips, could turn the club down but as the slay queen she always had been in her dream, she shakes it majestically, making attention drawn to her, feeling satisfied.
"Hey man!" said an average height man, with his broad shoulders, and his cute face, people usually said his broad shoulders kept girls closer to him.
"Yes I'm good, bro," Dickson said,
knowing his friend Austin couldn't resist things like parties.
"Hey, beauty." A tall young looking man in his middle 20' s , heads towards their place , as he grinds his teeth together as he smiles.
Bro what's that? "Dickson said, as Oscar had scanned Becky throughout.
"Oh relax," Oscar said with a sexy smile."
"My bad! Oscar, Austin, this is my girlfriend I told you about. Becky, these are my friends," Dickson said, as they exchanged handshakes.
"Babe, I'll leave you, here with your homies; I want to meet an old friend" she said, placing a peck on his lips before she snoozed up their view .
"You A girlfriend? He can't believe that, "Oscar asked him.
"Yes, of course, you don't trust me? "Dickson said, snipping his drink from his blue glass cup, as he roamed around with his eyes.
"You don't even believe in love, so how come?" Austin said".
"Have you?, hmmm hmm, Oscar asked. While he wicks his eyes brow towards Dickson waiting to hear the whole story.
"Love can change someone right? "Dickson said as he continued drinking.
"But how did you meet her?" his friends asked him , as they stared at him.
At her university graduation, I went to meet a friend's little brother graduation, who happens to be on the same set.
I saw her, standing alone confused about what to do. It seemed she wanted someone to take her picture, but I wouldn't go further," He said.
"He didn't like telling people about his their encounter, after which he felt and stained his white, because he wanted to get her attention.
This makes him to be ashamed to open up to his friends.
Becky hasn't been backed nor had called Dickson to inform him, he had been restless, as her number isn't going through.
Staring at his phone, wishes for her call to come in, but it seems like a dream.
"Calm down bro!, she is alright" his friend told him, trying to enlighten his mood, as he nodded while he tried to dial her number.
His phone vibrates, starts hanging, frustrated by the phone problem, the sounds his friends make, he looks up knowing full well it wasn't his kind of thing.
The sexy stripper stares at him as she smiles, ready to devour him, Dickson had already pictured what could happen.
She strode to his side, bends down, making her back view align with his body, as she wyned on him while she danced to the tune of the song.
His friends had been drunk enough but had the time to choose who they wanted to be this night, as the stripper had been practicing her skills on Dickson's body, a phone call came in.
Hello! He picked up the call.
"Hello? Hello?" The stranger's voice said.
"Who are you?" He was already exhausted from the stress.
"Please are you Mr Dickson?" the voice asked.
A cold freeze moves round his body with his scared face.
