I was in my room when my mum came in and she told me that is should go and check in on the laundry. I was really angry because if I had friends, I wouldn't have been doing all these house chores. "Mum, when I'm I going to get some new friends ?" I demanded. "Sophie, we just moved here. it's really hard for us to groom into the new neighborhood. even the neighbors are avoiding us. So, you just have e to be patient" she advised me. Ever sincoe I came to this town, things have been really different for me.

I didn't even respond to her, I was so angry. my mum kept reminding me that I'm just 16 years and I need to blend into the neighborhood before I could make some friends. "if I don't make friends of.my own age now, if I get to school, how will I cope with my academics, when I don't have friends" I said then I ran to my parents room and I continued to cry until my mum had met my needs.
