Damaged and Dangerous

My alarm begins to sound and I promptly shut it off hoping not to wake my father. I get up and get dressed, putting on black jeans, socks, brown boots and a long sleeve shirt. I quietly walk to the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth after I'm done I put my long brown hair up in a messy bun and run back to my room to call Monica, but just as I'm about to hit call I hear someone stumbling outside of my bedroom, I grab my book bag and put my phone back in my pocket, quietly sliding my window open and climbing out onto a nearby tree, I close my window and jump down then begin walking to school.

Not too long later Monica pulls up behind me. "Hey Amanda, want a ride?" asks Monica "Sure" I reply getting in and buckling up. "Why on earth wouldn't you call and ask for a ride, it's freezing out." Monica says "Well, I was going to but I got sidetracked... and forgot" I say, trying to cook up an excuse "Well next time call" Monica says "Okay." I say.                    

         The rest of the car ride we just sat and listened to the radio and not much longer we stopped in front of the schoolhouse. "I'll meet you inside, I'm going to go park." Monica says "alright, see you soon." I say as I get out and close the car door, I walk up the stairs to the high school and go inside walking to my locker to get my books. I open my locker and grab my books. I shut my locker and turn around, not paying attention I run into someone, my books falling to the ground, I look up and see this tall boy kinda cute if you ask me with his blue eyes and brown hair "S-sorry." I stutter crouching down to pick up my books that had fallen, "Don't be, let me help you with those." he said crouching down picking up some of my books and handing them to me, we both stand up "T-thank you." I say "No problem." he smiles "I should be getting to class though, I don't wanna be late." he says "Alright." I reply "See ya." he says and waves. He seems nice I think to myself and not much longer Monica walks up behind me "Boo." she says and I jump dropping my books again "Holy crap!" I yell "You scared me" I pick up my books and she laughs "Sorry not sorry." she says "Whatever." I laugh "We should get to class before we're late." I say and we begin walking to class.
