In a minimastically decorated office, one of many rooms in the large building, Trisha Callister typed away on her laptop, her undivided attention directed towards the work she was doing.
Clad in a tight dress, Trisha scooted closer to her desktop computer as if any voluntary action would multiply her speed.
It took sometime, but, Trisha was finally able to get everything done. It wasn't easy being the general manager of such a prestigious brand, but she was Trisha, so she could make it work.
Being the neat freak she was, she couldn't bear seeing her chair displaced, nor the files on her table scattered.
Despite how tired she was, she still managed to arrange everything to her liking, and finally, the black plaque with gold letters which spelt "Trisha Callister, General Manager!".
She sighed in satisfaction, it was one of the many nights she looked at the plaque and she felt accomplished. Everything she had worked for finally paid off, just a little bit of hard work and she would finally have her own brand.
Like the many nights where she would get off work in record time, she decided to call Collin, her boyfriend turn fiance three months before.
She dialed his number twice, but he didn't pick up the call. She concluded that he was tired after a long day, and maybe he was just freshening up.
"Hmm!, Maybe he had so much work to do today. Maybe I'll just call him later ", Trisha said to herself before she called Elle, her bestfriend.
Unlike Collin, Elle was able to puck up immediately after the first ring. It wasn't unusual because, the ladies had known each other way before Trisha met Collin.
