Falling for My Best Friends Brothers

"Hey, I'll catch you later yah babe?" I nodded and kissed my best friend Tracy as she left. My mum was out for three weeks on one of those work trips so myself and my brother Dan had the house to ourselves.

Of course, my brother went over to sleep at one of his best friend Jimmy’s house, and so Tracy came over and slept here. But that didn’t last long, soon she was summoned by her little sis crying for her sister back. She'd already promised to come over again tomorrow to finish off the sleepover.

So, I was at home alone. Great. Not! The worst thing about it was that I hated the dark and now I had to sleep alone in it. I walked up to my room, grabbed the phone and jumped on the bed dialling my other friend Krissy's number. "Hello?"

"Hi, Krissy what you doin’ tonight?"

"Nothing, why?"

"Well do you want to come over, you could spend the night?" I heard her giggle on the other end and knew calling her was a bad idea.

"You still do that crap? come on let’s go out and have some real fun!" see I knew it.

"Um, I'm not sure," I mumbled back, already mentally cursing myself for this stupid choice. Why was I so needy?

"Oh, come on please, we haven’t hung out in like ages please!" she begged with her baby voice until I couldn’t say no even though I had offered to hang out just in a safer and legal way.

"Fine, but I'm leaving the second it turns eleven!"

"Yeah cool whatever, love you. I'll be right over...oh wait wear something…sexy…you do own something sexy right?" I didn’t have any time to reply, my eyes already rolling. “Just try and make something work. See you in a bit!”

At that, she put the phone down and I knew where we were going. 'Purple Buzz' was the most famous club around here, and of course, it consisted of BEER, BOYS, AND SEX but no way was I doing any of those things.

NO WAY! If I got caught, that was any chance of a high league university. The last thing I needed right now.

I walked over to my wardrobe and pulled out a dress my cousin had bought me last Christmas. This would be the first time I wore it. I walked out to the bathroom and slipped on the dress. The dark burgundy brought out the chocolate in my eyes and stopped just above my knee stuck tight to my skin and sleeveless. Great now I looked like a huge slut! I wasn’t fat but I wasn’t skinny, kind of in the middle and right now it felt like it had a purpose. My ass barely covered and my hips hugged into perfect curves that were dangerously close and a few burgers from spilling over into a rather unflattering shape.

The one thing I hated most was my chest, mostly they’re small and never grabbed any attention but the exception was tonight. The dress had some padding around there and made them seem a little bit bigger, threatening to almost push them free from any support. Thankfully, God thought it was finally time to start directing fat there. I walked over to the bathroom mirror and applied my makeup.

I put a light brown shade for the base then a darker brown on top blending the two together. Moving my face closer to the mirror I applied my black eyeliner along with my mascara to add extra length to my eyelashes. Just when I was about to select my lip gloss the doorbell rang and I ran down to answer it.

"Hi Kri..." I stopped when I opened the door realising it wasn’t Krissy it was him. "What the hell do you want?" you can’t blame me for being rude this guy is a devil at it. His eyes dropped down my body, a look of shock in his eyes but within a second it was gone. Just looking at him brought a whole new meaning to rage!

“Well Tess I wonder who's the unlucky guy, oh wait you don’t have one...so I'm guessing who's the unlucky guy who's so desperate that they’ll pay you?" I narrowed my eyes and let the anger flush right out of me, his plump pink lips pulled tight into a smirk.

"Get lost dick wipe!"

The grin dropped from his face as a mocking look of hurt masked his features, “So rude, do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Rolling my eyes, his face suddenly turned serious. “Look I can’t bear looking at you so where's Dan?"

"He ain’t here, he's at Jimmy's I'm surprised he didn’t tell you since you’re his best friend and all. Maybe Jimmy’s got that position on a lockdown huh?" he put his toned hand through his dark brown shaggy hair. He made a mocking sigh. Like the ones when you make when you’re shocked and I did the same before closing the door in his face.

"God, I hate him!" I said to myself as I turned to go upstairs. Adrian has been friends with Dan since before they could walk. He'd also been around to make my life miserable. When I was five, he dropped the teachers' mug and it smashed into tiny pieces and when she came back, he blamed it on me. I got three months of detention when I was in year seven to make up for it but it didn’t stop there. Any chance he got he made sure to make a point of how pathetic my existence was.

Sure, he’s three years older than me but god is he a dick! Every boy I have ever liked he just tells them stupid stories of me having done a voodoo spell to make them love me forever and ever. He even faked a few messages just prove how much of a stalker I could be.

But my retarded brother still remains his friend, any degrading crap that muttered its way into existence from his toxic mouth he denied.

Just as I was about halfway up the steps the doorbell rang again and I rolled my eyes back. What the hell does he want now?

"Look I told you Dan isn’t her-"

"Hey!" Krissy cut me short and gave a twirl showing her bright pink dress off.

"Krissy! Hi" I said, surprised.

"Hi, who did you think it was?" she said sarcastically, I shrugged, and she walked in closing the door.

"So, what you think?" I looked down at her dress and gasped. It puffed out at the bottom when she spun, it reached just about her knee and became tight when it got to her chest bringing it out more. Sparkles covered the top; the dress was also strapless and zipped up at the back while mine zipped up at the side.

"You look amazing!" she gave a small giggle like I was stating the obvious and wrapped her red scarf around her shoulders. Her long black hair hung loosely in waves around her shoulders. Her green eyes sparkled as the light touched them.

"You ready?"

"Oh, nope just gotta comb my hair,"

"Ok but wear it down it looks way sexier like that," I smiled with a nod and ran up the stairs.

I pulled the blue bubble band out my hair and combed it out. My hair was a dark brown with strands of blond and red when the light hit it stopping just above my shoulders and was always naturally frizzy which I hated but couldn’t do anything about now. I ran to my room and pulled out a pair of black high heels and a black scarf to wrap around me.

"Ok ready!" I said as I walked down the stairs towards her.
